Please make a review about iriz 2019, or maybe little comparisons between iriz n myvi. Much appreciate if you could because really hot topic for malaysian in choosing which one i guess.
I recently took a ride in the back seat of this myvi 1.5H from Genting to KLIA2 It was raining heavily and my right ear suffered the worst noise pollution in a car (I sat in the right rear seat) There was loud constant water splash tyre noise coming from the C pillar Very stress inducing and doesn't feel safe at all
Would you think the newly revamped Axia with the additional safety features similar to the current Myvi would give it a run for the value given as it may be a little more economical to use and own in the long term? Just some thoughts here.
I totally agree with all the complaints mentioned. Just bought a 1.5 advance and the road noise was terrible than my 7 year old hyundai. Lack of storage space, stupid eco idle, turning on and off the climate ctrl is like a hard work, and the lack of auto door lock frustrates me. Keyless entry only as accessible from driver side, no fr passenger access. The rear boot cover makes too much noise when driving over bumpy roads. The tints that comes with 1.5adv package doesn't do its job well. Need to re retint with darker ones.
Yeap, we heard the Gear Up insulation package helps improve NVH but the best solution is to get quieter tyres. 😕 Totally agree with you on the tints haha, doesn't reject heat very well. Hopefully, Perodua is taking notes from owners like yourself!
@@AdrianChiaa adrian can you do a review about the new facelift volvo S90 that should arrive during 2021 and will it have a petrol variant no phev with a panaromic sunroof.. Please. Plan to buy one for famly...
the remote control in your home aircond goes down by temperature, isn't the car ones are indicator to blowers? if its blowers, then actually its the same with home airconds from what I know.
Hi Adrian, I was actually looking into buying a Myvi (ASA 2.0) as my 2nd car but I heard rumour that the facelift Myvi is coming out soon and most probably it comes with a new transmisstion (D-CVT) like in the Ativa. So, do you suggest that I shall wait for the facelifted version and just get the current one now?
Hahaha me too.. 4th and 3rd kind of buyer. Myvi has a sporty and cool designs! Literally this has become my 2nd car now but I enjoy driving it sometimes.. Don't wanna sell it yet.. 😂😂
That aircond control system are up for cooler because it based on volume system, the house air conditioner you press down for cooler because its a degrees measurement
I plan on taking the Picanto instead of the Myvi or Iriz due to refinement of the cabin, inside insulation and drive capability. What i have to sacrifice however by not buying the other two is space. It is relatively smaller than the other two i mentioned and that's my only complaint!
Don't quite agree about the tyre part, the Goodyear Assurance Triplemax that came with the car is actually quite noisy. Recently changed to a set of Continental CC6 and the cabin is a lot quieter
How's Continental CC6 perform in the wet condition? Im thinking about switching between Michelin or Continental, but the grip from the Goodyear tyre is really excellent, especially on wet.
@@adibz959 Wet weather performance is average as the CC6 is geared more towards comfort rather than handling. For grip in wet conditions I think anything but the CC6 would be better
Its a very good all rounder car for everday use. About the 'sluggish' 4 at gear, the myvi is already entitled as the 'king of the highways'. U Still wanna go faster meh?
Locally designed by Malaysian engineers. It does not have any Toyota or Daihatsu equivalent. Japan was so impressed that they had one displayed in Daihatsu hq. A fully Malaysian Japanese car, with no equivalent in Japan. In Indonesia, it is sold as Daihatsu.
Road noise..there has been a lot of talk about it by car reviewers here on RUclips. If I go by the term ' Road Noise ' then it means exactly that.Without going into the technicalities about that, I just want to say that the roads we drive on are just not constructed good enough. Here you pay premiums for good cars, tyres, stability control and the list goes on but take your machine out on these shitty roads...yes, even the ones you pay for to travel by the kilometre ( Toll ) you just know the discomfort in the drive and you always blame your baby ( car ) for that.Let's face it, there are no proper rules that the men who come out in the middle of the night to lay the black stuff and roll over with that slow moving contraption follow . Add to that , the numerous piece by piece resurfacing, service trenches that get filled up poorly, the staccato rhythm rubberised speed breakers that you encounter so very often ( more lately blamed for the ' slippery when wet ' and cars skidding off the road conditions, I think it is time that we, the road users demand that proper and good standards of road construction be adhered to and car manufacturers like Perodua and Proton should be in with us on this as it is their cars that we take out on the roads and give the appropriate ratings and reviews for !
Pretty solid car for RM50K. The part about the engine restarts when you lift your foot slightly happens on nearly all start-stop equipt cars. I do agree about the soundproofing though. It could be better and an upgraded infotainment system. I think a few cons are still acceptable because the pros outweighs it. Overall a great job by Perodua.
What's your driving experience between MyVi 1.3 Premium X & MyVi 1.5 variants? How about the engine performance between between MyVi 1.3 Premium X & MyVi 1.5 variants? Thanks.
The 1.3 Premium X is definitely not as sprightly as the 1.5 variants but like the previous-generation Myvis, I wouldn't call the 1.3 underpowered. Although the ride is more comfortable as the 1.3 rides on smaller 14-inch wheels. -Adrian
the perfect myvi 2018 from perodua..you should make video compare with honda jazz and toyota yaris..maybe 2nd batch or myvi facelift the noise at the back can be reduce by perodua
ahaksss... Myvi’s at 100km/h shows 2500rpm while Iriz with CVT at the same speed 100km/h shows 3000rpm!!! huhuhu.. and some still claim the Iriz fuel economy are better than Myvi? dont forget Myvi fuel tank only 36L while Iriz are 40L... and the recent updated Myvi now not only the 1.5AV has ASA but the 1.5H too, both get updated ASA 2.0 as standard and available as options on 1.3X Premium... I personally would want to see in a real life test on the so call claimed 23.8km / litter test. Maybe we can get at least in the area of 18-20km/ litter. That would be great. Thought I think if power can be upped when there is the availability of piggy back ECU to spice up things. car prices are getting too high, with camry Rm190k nowadays this car may be close to 90k. but i think this car will still sell better than vios, mazda 2 and almeira. its got better mileage and newer engine. But i agree, there is nothing else new in this car. But maybe that’s exactly the point!
My complain for the myvi, which is not really a big problem actually, would be the position of the start button. Starting the car engine to warm it, I need to step on the break, which is okay, then stretch myself inside to get to the button or even sit inside the car to press it. It would be easier if the push button is closer to the driver's door side for convenience, in my opinion.
I sometimes drive around with full 5 passengers including myself, sometimes 4 passengers, driving pass a speed bump, I could even feel the bottom of the car scratching with the speed bump. Quite slow even with 4 passengers it happened too.
