This is bloody brilliant. I owned 7 different ford Cosworth's Back in the 80s and 90s. I still have my RS number 372. It doesn't go outside and gets started and drove a little every month. I loved the Saphires they were quick but no where near the Rs. Brilliant video.

Out of curiosity did this car come with the cell phone from factory
No you had to buy the phone from carphone warehouse and calls were £2.00 per min.
@@paulgriffiths6344 Wouldn't of had bonnet vents either, so not going for a proper restoration
@@kevinparker461 sorry mate but this car came with bonnet vents as standerd.
@@paulgriffiths6344 Not originally, A 1988 2 wheel drive didn't have a vented bonnet. I had a 1989 factory black 2 wheel drive & that didn't have bonnet vents. It was the 4 wheel drive that was vented. You may have got it with a vented bonnet, i don't dispute that but its not how it would of left the factory. I heard there were a couple of 2 wd that had bonnet vents from the factory but was told they were like the 3 door bonnet vents. I don't know as i never saw one.
@@kevinparker461 I only said what i said because in 1988 i perchased my RS Cosworth from fords and the car had bonnet vents.
