@@xinflict3078 um yea I would still recognize my moms voice after 2 years of not hearing it. My brother was in jail for a year and I moved far from home for a year and a half right as he came home. Almost 3 years until we saw each other again and I recognized his voice immediately when walking into my moms house.
they do sense and feel emotions. When I lived aboraod I got the news that Grandpa passed away - so after hanging up, I burst out in tears and my dog comforted me like a champ. He knew something wasnt right
Soldiers who fight in the war are heroes to us all. God bless them and America and we send our remarks to those who never made it out of the battle field. We all shed a tear for those who lost a loved one due to the horrible wars that wage on, as they try to stop them. These show how happy the reunion can be between families and warriors. God bless them and America!!! 🇺🇸
4 years my brother went to Cairo and when he come back I thought I already forgot what his looks like but he’s just the same. He went to Navy when he is 18 and I was 11 and to my surprise he cry when I hugged him, be honest we both cry. He came to my school and surprise me that is the most sweetest thing he ever does. Night before he went to Navy I fight with him I didn’t knew he will gone tomorrow morning I thought it will be 2 weeks more. I told him “don’t ever come to my face again” that night we fight. I woke up next morning knowing he already flies to the next state. My mom said he didn’t want to wake me up that night because I have exam tomorrow morning and didn’t want me to get sleepy sending him to airport. I’m just sad that I can’t say goodbye to him and he called us night before Christmas that year saying that I shouldn’t even say goodbye cuz he will coming home one day. I’m glad I can see him again. 4 years isn’t short time and I’m glad that I see him again. What if what I said true that night? I will never forgive myself.
No it isn't true, that was just the kind of "I love you" to him, I hope you get to see eachother again. Your story is heartbreaking but everything is gonna be fine, just stay strong
Aarthi Gowshik I can relate to that. My older brother died in 2015. He was an amazing person. And I miss him. I send my condolences to you and your family.
Mama's and Papa's getting their baby back after a long tour, always melts my heart, same with kids seeing their dad or mom after a long tour, i literally cheer when they run into their arms!
That dog was my favourite it was so touching I was so close to crying 😭 Edit: two years later WOW. PS I'm using my mom's account and my name is Andrew.
When I came home from Desert Shield/Storm, my mom had a sign out in front of the garage that read, “Welcome home to America’s #1 son.” I salute all of you...my brothers and sisters in arms.
So beautifull,I honestly cant fathom just how much those kids miss their fathers and mothers, really is such a blessing they come home to their families, godbless you.
When adults choose (to which I am grateful) to go into the service it's a huge sacrifice no doubt. Your family/friends/pets didn't choose it & people forget that their sacrifices are greater. Thank you to all.

I managed to stop my tears but I can't, it automatically came from my eyes, while seeing this situation if I feel like that think what they feel more than us which have no words to express...👍♥️👌
I've been told a story: My Dad (Italian) went to fight in the second world war in Libia. There was a big battle were Italians were encircled by British: Agedabia in Feb-41. He was wonded and taken to Tobruk, from there shipped to Haifa (modern Israel), from there to El Latrum on the road to Gerusalem and from there to a big prisoner's camp in Egypt from which he was shipped to Australia. All in less than 2 months. My father was recovering from his wounds and Tobruk was under siege by the Germans and Italian and there was a great confusion about who was dead or alive. In my Dad's tank only him survived when it was hit by a British shell. In other words, he didn't have the chance to write home and say he was alive, but his parents received news of the battle and that their son was involved. After nearly a month, in one of the camps, he briefly met a neighbough from his own city (capture in a different battle) and he managed, in a very short conversation, to ask him to let his parent (my grandparents) know that he was alive. I know that the mother of his neighbourgh went to give the message. I can only imagine, after weeks of uncertanty and fear the tears of happiness. I don't know the details, but in one occasion my Granmother, a woman of few words, recalled that my father's adventures meant one of the most difficult times of her life. Being born in a time of peace, I can only imagine what could have gone through her heart and mind in those difficult days. I hope she is now in peace. Bless her.
