I'm having trouble wrapping my head around artifacts and releases. I uploaded some new configuration to my project, which enabled sourcemaps in some of my files, but some errors still show the obfuscated, minified errors, together with a hint label saying "Stack frame path doesn't match a source file artifact name. The path for this stack frame is...". Should I just remove all the existing artifacts and make a new build, or how does it work?
@@Sentry-monitoring I’ve looked through, and it seems the answer could be this: ”If you upload artifacts after an error is captured by Sentry, Sentry will not go back and retroactively apply any source annotations to those errors. Only new errors triggered after the artifact was uploaded will be affected.” Thanks!
@@Sentry-monitoring Just curious, what will happen if I were to delete all releases from a project? Would all the artifacts associated to that release be deleted, as well?
@@victorlindh3129 Deleting all of the releases shouldn't delete the artifacts associated with that release. And if you re-create the release after having deleted them, the sourcemaps should still work without having to do anything. Hope that helps!
thanks for the video, exactly what i looking for

Have you tried going through these troubleshooting tips yet? docs.sentry.io/platforms/javascript/sourcemaps/troubleshooting_js/

@@Sentry-monitoring Awesome, that surely helps! Thanks!
