I am stunned that intelligent people that age would pay upfront and in full for something not built, especially in a foreign country where making demands might be futile!! What motivation did the builder have to complete the project once he had all the money?
Fools in my opinion. Do they not know of stage payments? Who the hell gives 100% upfront? Retail customers like this should hire an independent manager/structural engineer to monitor the progress, so they are informed properly all the way, alongside the usual staged payments.
The first story - the lesson is a greedy always pays twice. Could have bought a nice home and renovated. Would have spent little bit more and also invested their time and effort. Instead they decided to get a dream home by magic and almost free. 250 e for a house with a sea view and a pool? Only a total idiot falls for that.
What does it mean? We bought a house in the south of France - here u can not buy an individual house for 300 k euro. So for me 295 k e is very suspicious because it is too cheap, so i would not fall for that. All in all i have no compassion for people who want nice stuff for free - greedy always pay twice. Also France is WAY better than Spain. I was visiting once would never want to live there
That spainish development is absolutley shocking it looks like it needs demolishing and starting again at the developers and the builders cost i would be taking legal action if i was living there
Does anyone remember an episode of this show when the house was haunted by a poltergeist? Kitchen drawers kept slamming & the rest of it. I really want to find it
I live on B sector and watched as the pushed the top of the hill to make it level on upper C so this is why they should not have built on the leveled soil. this was on camposol the same on some D sector the shifted the soil and natural water ways the had to stop building some houses because it would be unstable and had to give the people a choice of other houses
I wish I could make head or tail of what you've written, because I know that YOU understand something I don't. Could you re-write this (more carefully written) to make sense? For those of us who care (I do!). Thank you!

@@bambinaforever1402 Thank you for replying (Your English is VERY good. Especially for NOT living in an English speaking country. I went to live in France, to learn French, so I understand how difficult it is to learn another language). And thank you for explaining! Do you know what 'camposol' is??
The first story is a shame I bet by now 2023 that property will have been pulled down and the couple have got nothing and the picture of the two who took there money the one one the left just look Prue evil that smile not trustworthy at all
People always want more and more..Bigger and better.More room than they need for 2 people.Giving money up front before a house is built anywhere is a gamble. Greed .
Never ever pay in full up front!
Never buy a home on a cliff or an apartment that has not been built yet.

Thank you for these!:) 345K upfront... 😮 And I guess buying a house on a flood plain may not be a good idea.
That first story is very saddening, I do not think I could be that upbeat after all they went through

Spanish Government doesn't give dam
€295,000 for a house in Spain. A blind man would see thats a rip off. They got caught.

I mean it has the potential..
The government should put giant rocks or build cement wall around the houses. They do pay their taxes I presume.

There's WAY too much bureaucracy in all our Countries.

This is my first episode and last episode...there's no resolution🥺 just people's sad stories?
AGREED!!!
Well, the first one had resolution - they did not get their money back yet and now live in england running a pub, which is a win for them
@@bambinaforever1402 Thank you for the info. Still, REALLY sad. We assume that others have the same values we do.

English going around buying cheap homes in the sun with their all mighty pound. In the end they end up selling and going back to jolly old England.
If they scammed me before I left I would burn down every single one of their properties.
@@paul.435 well, they are all paid upfront, so u wouldnt be doing any damages to the crook company. U will be going to jail thou
