My all time favourite Chinese actor Zhu YiLong is Weibo King. Delighted for him and i wish that he will continue to shine brighter and bolder in the coming years because his acting skills is outstanding and he remains professional and humble. Also very pleased that 4 of my favourite dramas made it to the top 5 i.e. Journey to Love. Till the end of the Moon, Queen of News and Blossoms Shanghai.
I started watching Different Princess, and it is great so far!
Finally, Zhu Yi Long getting the recognition he deserves. Him and Luo Yunxi have always stood out from the sea of actors I've watched thus far, both are next level actors.

I wonder when all the big anticipated dramas will come out. Can't they just release one for January 😅 Happy to see Yang Zi got Weibo Queen. I think the rumor was Bai Lu for queen and Cheng Yi for king. I was surprised it went to Zhu Yilong ( I think he's a fine actor).
I agree. I'm surprised it also went to Zhu Yilong, not to hate him; he is good, but I felt many other actors were there.
Mostly all is surprised with ZYL as King....just wasn't expecting him to get it out of all the other notable choices this year I guess.
Exactly! Shen Li was supposed to come out Dec 31 I thought? Then to find out I can’t watch Blossoms sucks…there’s like 3-4 I thought were coming out by now. FWIW Beef is awesome. Hilarious but so real.
Didn't even know who Zhi Liyong was. Had to Google him to find out what drama he starred in. Oh well. I wish Luo Yunxi was awarded because he's such an awesome actor!
If you don't/can't come, usually you won't get a weibo award, esp. as King of Weibo! They want the fans cheering.

I started "Our Interpreter" and "You'll never walk alone", but they were not very engaging and stopped watching.
I came across the Japanese supernatural romance movie "As Long as We Both Shall Live", an adaptation of the light novels "My Happy Marriage". It's very beautifully done, though one movie is not enough to tell the full story. I'll be watching "My Happy Marriage", which is made into an anime series on Netflix.
i am shocked that Luo yunxi, Yang Yang & Chen yi didn’t win any award.
Even if some individually didn't win an award, the drama they were in or lead in won in some category....well.. except for Yang Yang....he esp...had a bad drama year with all the criticism he got surrounding his acting plus the lowest rating for a drama this year on Douban.
Luo Yunxi is an awesome actor who acted as 3 characters in Till the End of the Moon! I was happy with who won awards but very disappointed that Luo Yunxi did not! 😢
Cheng Yi esteve em um evento do Weibo antes e foi bem premiado. Leo Lu não costuma participar destes eventos, prefere evento de gamers e Yang Yang não foi o ano dele. É necessário que o autor compareça para ser premiado. Xiao Zhan está na lista porque seus personagens foram bem citados como Lin Lihua de Cheng Yi. Cheng Yi e Leo Lu não foram premiados porque não foram porque Tan taí jin também foi tendência.

I actually watched a good chunk of Weibo night like the red carpet because I like to see the fashion and most of it was a bit scary I will say, but there were definitely some pretty cool outfits walking down the red carpet. I didn’t stick around for the entire nine hours but I got to see the clips the following day. I’m glad everyone I follow won something. But all in all, congratulations to everybody even the ones I don’t follow and don’t know. Still waiting on “19th Floor” as that seems to be the only thing that’s going to be dropping anytime soon, I was hoping that “amidst a snowstorm of love” would also come this month, but it seems they’ve quieted down their promotion. 🤷🏻♀️

Weibo Night was really interesting to watch, even without subs. Stars' sweet interactions during the ceremony - coolest thing))). Hooray to many actors who got the awards, I was especially happy for Chen Zhe Yuan and Deng Wei.
Currently started watching Different Princess- surprisingly a very good drama-, and a number of Kdramas- Tell Me That You Love Me and Maestra: Strings of Truth. Unfortunately have no time to watch more bcs of my current workload(((.

Weibo night awards sound like kpop awards a bunch of made up names and everyone gets one. Texture actors? 😂😂 The good thing is fandoms wont fight too much.
I once commented on this issue. I was shocked like every celebrity that showed up there left with an award. I think it’s good but I also don’t see them encouraging swift competition in the industry. It’s different from the korean drama awards at least they pick one or two for a category but mostly its only one winner who emerges and there awards like the Daesang Grand Prize that is awarded to top cream versatile acting and it is like dream for many actors to sharpen their actings and be able to achieve such an award but following up Weibo Awards I couldn’t tell which is the most prestigious award. I was glad all actors I like walked away with something but it felt bland because almost 99% of the top celebrities with dramas and films in the year 2023 and were in attendance walked away with an award.

Different Princess just copies so many other dramas. I wish those of us in America can watch Blossoms Shanghai and I still haven't found Happy Life. I'm watching My Boss and I will stick with it for now even though I really really detest the "Boss" and the FL is unrealistically sweet and kind and tolerant of that jerk. lol Congrats to all the Weibo winners. But boy that 9 hours had to be brutal. Nobody in Hollywood would stand up to that since they have to run to In and Out Burger all the time. ha Well TaTa for now Marcus and all Dramalanders.
