Malaysians are very kind and friendly
Malaysians are too kinds and that's why Japanese were tried to steal from us during WW2!
@Kraze That's not the point. History is a fact, no one could erase it, including Japanese from any generation. Therefore, IT IS THE HISTORY no matter how anyone put it, distorted or denied it. You can forgive, but not forget the history!
Calm down ,dont blame other people sins to people who doesnt really did it.I agree with kraze as well.

Looks like it’s pretty popular cuz people are replying to your comment ?? Thank you for your recommendation ❤️
Malaysia is a great country living harmony with multicultural and multi races. The foods heaven are combination with difference cultures especially in South east Asia.
Exactly. I thought the diversity is only about races, but is about even food here !
You are so lucky …. Hahahaha “no money” needed. We Malaysian are just simply heart warming people, friendly and nice. So long as you love our country!
Last part u sound so touching with Malaysian kindness. This is how we treat our guest .. the towkey is very generous ! Please support their business
I’m amazed ! ❤️
Malaysians hate to leave thier guest with empty stomach. Even though sometimes the guest dont wanna the owner of the place to cook for them. The owner will at least make some tea or coffee to serve to thier guest.
Malaysia is heaven for all of us...😭😭😭.... enjoy...!!!.. you could learn simple & basic Chinese.. Tamil.. language as well..."nandri"..."xie-xie".... meaning TQ...@ terima kasih...😁😁
I would love to try to speak Chinese and Malaysia but it’s not easy 😱
Through this video I feel the enthusiasm of living in Malaysia especially Koreans and Japaneses. I have many friends ,simply ex colleagues and when they work and stay here, they never want to go back to their country because of the slow pace and less tension of lifestyle and many good and cheap foods here…
It's Malaysian culture to be generous to others. I find that Japanese are really friendly too. Enjoy your stay here!
Thanks ! Take care please :)
You are blending well with the locals from a video to a video. And yes, Malaysians could just simply treat a stranger for food. Usually they have no other intentions. Just out of generousity, especially if you are a foreigner and you also bring yourself well among them. Keep up providing us with yout great video KAZ while in Malaysia..🥰
Thank you for watching 🥰🥰
I love watch you eat and way you talk to people to say sedap .....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Hope you will success and also can speak Malaysia...💓💓💓💓💓

That’s how we all Japanese feel..?? 😂 Thank you for watching !
4:42 That is actually fried shallots, after deep fried, we keep both the shallots and oil. They can be used to enchant the food flavor :)
Yes, that vege is 空心菜。In malay it calls kangkung.
Currently weather is really really hot. Can see Kaz enjoying prawn mee noodles busted with sweats 😁
The weather and hot foods both make me sweat ☀️
@@kazinkl you should prepare a mini portable fan, it's very useful especially in Malaysia's hot weather. I always bring mine everytime I'm eating at a place with no aircond 😆 I can't stand the hot weather while eating spicy food, I would be drenched in sweat 😂😂

Whenever you come to Penang. Don't get confused. In many states, it's called prawn mee. In Penang, it's called Hokkien Mee. Prawn Mee is a totally different dish. While hokkien mee in KL is Penang's Hokkien Char. lol.
Edit : a Carpenters fan huh ? :P

I think KAZ is really realistic in term of his contents. He explore local food that eventually will help his fellow Japanese who live in Malaysia to looking for good local food that much cheaper than fast food or something like that. Good effort from KAZ and I wish his channel keep growing. Gambatte KAZ!👍👍
Mostly malaysian that binge watch his youtube
Depend on individual, for me, I normally finish the soup if it’s oishi.
Glad to see a lots of our local food bussines opening back...💕💕...let's support them..
Prawn Mee, Asam laksa, curry laksa are one of the few underrated noodle dishes that could have it's own standing next to ramen
love to see how u blend with the hawker families...especially the auntie who promoting you 'Ice lemon tea', i hope i can see more videos from you.....portraying Malaysian foods, its all about diversity :)
chili boh is usually a mix of chili, onion and garlic.. the quantity of each, is usually depending on the dish or depending on the cook..
I’m not sure why I felt tomato in the taste..
@@kazinkl i think that is also possible there's tomato paste or ingredients in it. It is common for chilli boh to be the basic ingredients, then the cook will add in tomato paste and/or sometimes soy sauce or some other ingredients to their liking or based on the recipe they're using.. So yeah.. It is possible there's tomato inside it..

Water spinach, we call this vegetable "kang kong" in Malaysia.

The chilli is cooked with chilli boh, small onions pounded, a bit garlic if you want, belacan ie shrimp paste. Put oil in wok when it is hot & then add in all the ingredients to cook until fragrant. Mind the fire do not burn until the sambal chilli become black.
I might be so hard for me haha thanks for the info !

My world has been spreading everyday.. thank you !
Yes! Malaysia is actually DE FACTO foodies paradise of the world! Seriously! Period!
Finally I’ve found an oasis !
Great to see you're enjoying the prawn noodles. It's ok to finish the soup/gravy especially when itis delicious. In Malay language we call it "kuah". But it is impolite to lift up the bowl and drink the soup directly. Instead, use the spoon until the end.🙏🙂
Time for you to travel north to Penang, Kaz-san. Street food haven and value for money
Definitely!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Kaz, we have another dish actually where we mix this prawn mee soup with another thick dark soy braised soup. We call it loh cham ting in Hokkien dialect back in Penang. In KL, they refer it as yin yong ( Cantonese) its quite hard to get in KL as its origins from Penang. However, there's a stall in Taman Segar Perdana, Cheras (Breakfast Coffee Shop). You can chexk it out
I need to go visit Penang for it !!! Thank you !
ur english so good !
thanks for promoting malaysia!
I subscribe to you May more love and support come also what is your haircut? Really nice video and hairstyle!!

Good job Bro. Welcome to Malaysia 🤗🤗
Wow..I love lemon tea too😇
Yes I am staying in Happy Garden & the prawn mee stall is very nice & tasty if you dine in. Their curry laksa also not bad.
Oh I’m jealous you live there !
When you're in Malaysia, please drink the soup and do not mix it with rice like Korean. 😅
japanese too, with green tea. 😛 in penang we do order white rice or chicken rice to dip into asam laksa leftover soup. 😝😝
Ahahaha it was just my idea !
Definitely finish all the soup! 😋❤️
Nice ❤️❤️
i realised that there is a ”チャー” in the japan subtitle for koey teow, the ”チャー” means fried in hokkien actually😂😂
Tq Kaz...enjoy the food
If the soup served is sedap, i normally wil empty my bowl; to show my gratitude to the stall owner🤩. The way u finish ur soup is juz like i literally do; drink it straight from the bowl👏👏👏
Nice respectful attitude !! ☀️✨✨
Happy Garden! That's where my grandfather used to stay. So many childhood memories with visits to KL every year from Singapore.
Singapore is also happy garden for me 😊

Yup respect turns into love ! Thank you for your comment !
,oishi oishi, Sweet pasar mlm every type tired of roti canai,
Haha, KAZ should got to migrated to Malaysia for sure!
Malaysia is a haven for food, nasi kerabu, prawn mee, sarawak laksa, kuihs, etc.
For foreigners/travelers, if you love seafood. Recommended to come to Sabah, seafood so cheap, low prices. You can eat 7kg squid, 7kg prawns,7kg crab just with Rm25 per person but you must finish it all
If you got white face, ur probably will be charged extra tax
@@KK-ro7gx are you sure bro, have you come here?
When you sing after leaving the prawn me stall, it reminds me to a Malay rhyme..
Gendang gendut tali kecapi
Kenyang perut senang hati
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Signing at Happy Garden 👍🏼👍🏼
if you think the soup taste less you add the chili to the soup and mix it, the flavor will become thick. the soup basically is the boil prawn shell maybe they add msg not sure.
Many Japanese and Koreans loves Malaysia after thay stay, they are reluctant to go home. Because Best Food varieties, Very economic low cost to stay here. Generally a lot of foreigners like to stay here.
Usually we will yellow noodle mix mee hoon for noodle soup.. Will be taste nicer compare to yellow noodle mix kuey teow.. Kuey teow will only for fried kuey teow or kuey teow clear soup...
That prawn broth is definitely healthy haha. I can imagine how tasty that is. Yum!
At Penang we call Hokien Mee
Ohhh I thought it’s different food ?
Legend has it that during the Japanese Occupation, Fujian fishermen were only allowed to sell their catch to the occupation forces in China. What was left in their nets were prawn heads and shells. The locals made a broth with this and the rest is history.
I willfinish everything..coz everything so yummmyyyy
Don't forget one you are at Penang Island and try the Penang Prawn noodle...Bro!
