Cramming the finals into a single day was a garbage move by Blizzard.

Why is that so bad?? Players come ready to play.

Trying to fit all the games into one day exhausts players, casters, and venue visiting fans, and puts those fans in the very bad position of having to choose between only watching StarCraft for that whole day or getting to do some other things during that vacation day abroad. It makes it less likely that players, casters and fans will want to repeat the experience in the future, and impairs the appeal, momentum and robustness of the StarCraft ESport and thereby impairs the market momentum of StarCraft itself. They're responding to their perception of the shrinking of StarCraft market momentum by just giving in to it, since doing that costs less. So they're short changing everyone in order to be cheap. It was cheap, seriously garbage move.
