The Exact Moment KANG KILLED IRON MAN Revealed!

- In Quantumania, Kang confirms he's killed the Avengers in the multiverse, and a Loki Easter Egg confirms Iron Man was one of them. But what was the likeliest Nexus Moment in Tony's life for Kang to kill him?
A new inscription from a Loki behind-the-scenes art book confirms Kang's grim trophies, including the helmet of Iron Man. Erik Voss explains how Kang, aka He Who Remains, aka Nathaniel Richards, actually needed Tony Stark's discovery of time travel navigation in Avengers Endgame, making Tony potentially the hardest Avenger for Kang to kill without affecting his own existence... with the exception of ONE universe confirmed to exist in the MCU in the past year.

4:39 That actually makes Kang really dangerous. Like, he’s smart enough to know he is the product of others, and he knows he needs them, and still is conquering. That sounds like a great villain.
Well, that is self realization.
@@dvasqo what’s that mean?
@@pabloquijadasalazar7507 Kang "The Conqueror" is pretty self explanatory. Lol 🤦🏽♂️

Endgame showed wise Steve use psychology to outwit, young and naive Steve.
*It was beautiful.*
i'm so curious how this is a question 😭😂
Kang is going to be terrifyingly awesome.
That's what I thought about Gorr. The acting is there, but they don't have a writer. Michael Waldron - can't write.
Don't speak too soon
@@summertyme5748 well, considering the person who wrote Quantamania is also writing Kang Dynasty tells us Marvel loves what they have. And according to plot leaks that have basically been proven true and test screenings have been spectacular it seems.
Kant has a lot of potential, but it’s really easy to make a bad movie
No he’s not
Kang doesn't have to directly kill heroes. All he has to do is manipulate events so that they die. Due to the nature of Kang's unique position, he is technically responsible for the death of all heroes in all timelines. However, with infinity being as it is, he most certainly has directly killed every hero in every way possible as well.
That's what he said and meant by killing ironman duh 🙄
@@christopherthomas7365 LMFAOOOOOO right. Smh
So kang is God ? 🤔😄
@@Pantheist2602 In the way Marvel has set him up, pretty similar, or at least a stand-in figure.
@@KenDanielMurphy nah Kang can’t create a living being out of nothing so he’s not really a “god” type stand in. He’s actually just a normal human he just knows EVERYTHING that has or will ever happen
Tony was not present in the Illuminati council because there was one representative of each "faction". Captain Carter was the one representing the Avengers, so there was no place for Tony. However, Captain Carter might have taken Tony's place in the way Karl Mordo took the place previously belonging to Dr Strange - 838.
Why wasn't Tony there when they killed Thanos?
@@anthonymahan6241 to save budget
@@sofianng4663 lol
What if there was Tony representing Avengers.. Sometimes before the events of the film Tony was killed & Agent Carter replaced him
Oh wait surely the missing faction is the 'SONYverse', the last member was probably an ultimate Spiderman or Morbius or something but Marvel couldn't do that because of the rights thing
No one is going to talk about the fact Kang has heads as trophys
That's messed up. 😳
Maybe "He Who Remains" was very close friends with a version of Tony from some other universe, and the Helmet he has in the citadel isn't there because of some fight they had but because they worked together and had close relationship with one another. They can't all be bad Kangs
Oh I actually really like that thought :)
they can't all be bad kangs/ they all can't be good iron men
He Who Remains kind of hints at he cut his timeline off from the rest because his variants are lunatics, then Sylvie killed him. The perceived good Kang. That plot line sounds like what took place between Bill Foster and Hank Pym or Hank Pym and Ghost's father.
@@jayl.6403 Yeah them killing him def struck me as a bad thing. Like when everyone got all hopped up on removing Saddam Hussein and while he was awful he was a big plug that kept far more awfulness at bay and it was all released like a pandora's box the second he went down.
Yooo I love this thought 💪🏾
I FIRMLY believe Kang has been killing Tony in every universe. Been thinking it since What If. It can't be a coincidence that the creator of time travel keeps finding his way to being dead during the arc of the biggest time villain.
That also can explain dr strange 14m vision where tony has to die, else kang will come early. It completes the thanos has to snap (delays earth celestial), tony has to die (delays kang)
Tony didn't create time travel, He perfected it. Alot of work had been done by Hank Pym in finding a way to navigate quantum realm in advance. Tony could've also done what Hank Pym did with the use of Pym particles, but So would Hank had he known more about time dilation with respect to quantum realm.
@@Rahul-ll1en Time-Travel or Multiversal-Travel-at-different-time-in-the-timeline (as in MCU's timetravel rule one can not go back in the past but only in a different timeline ie. another universe) is directly linked to traveling through quantum realm. Hank Pym's technology only allowed him to go into the quantum level in and out not to control when to exit. Bruce banner tried it but ended up with time travelling through matter and not matter traveling through time. It was only when Tony Stark got aboard when any real success was seen with Haweye time travelling. Tony made the Time-Space GPS.

Imagine an avengers movie where we follow the battle with Kang as he destroys them all one by one, throughout the movie.
Only for us to find out in the aftermath and ending that they weren’t actually the avengers from our universe and it truly shows how powerful Kang is…
this would actually be frightening.
Nice concept actually.
Sorta like the last Twilight movie lmao
If that all happens in the beginning of the film it wouldn’t be believable cause the climax can’t be in the beginning.
@@nevdmc skill issue
Not all Kang variants have to kill to collect something from it. He can just grab those things without revealing himself or affecting the timeline
Sheeeshh seeing that panel from the comics with Beast’s head on a shelf and Reed Richards’s body just stretchedddd out covering the ceiling is quite chilling, I always love it when they go a little dark
That "Have I killed you before?" implies a complete different thing if we consider Kang(atleast that version) never knew about the avengers prior to meeting Scott. In comics, He conquers past, He conquers future but not the present, and that's because of Avengers. He was never able to completely defeat them and faced tons of defeats at the hands of many LOL. Also, We've seen universes where there are no Avengers at all. 🙏
I know that Kang is also responsible for Rhodey saying “Booooooom looking for this!?” which we are very thankful for. But killing Tony overweights it (in a negative way). YOU’RE GOING DOWN KANG!
I think they're is another potential moment where Tony had contact with Kang. After thanos attacks the Avengers campus later in endgame Tony wakes up Cap and tells him "You mess with time, it tends to mess back". I wonder if Kang pulled him away before that moment. Tony seemed to let on he knew more about what was going on.
Nah that was just a quippy joke
@@doriyahdude5277 that was not joke lol😂😂
The "mess back" is just past Thanos coming to their present timeline. You're thinking too deep into that
@@devantedates9400 how did he know it was Thanos? He just witnessed a big explosion. I think him automatically knowing it was 2014 Thanos is thinking too much into it.
@@jendaar He saw him.
Maybe Kang killed other universes Tony's in an attempt to stop his competitors from having the resources to stop him.
I think the reason Xavier quoted hinself was just the same as Defender Strange/Pre-Zombie Strange quoting himself. "The grand calculus of the multiverse..." I think variant just live similar lives and have very similar thoughts and speeches prepared. I never thought the Xavier from 838 was the same one as Days of Future Past but that's just me
Kang is gonna flip the table for the MCU.
Having Jonathan Majors play this role was perfect casting
I was wondering how can they top Thanos.....Kang will be the conquerer he supposed to be
It seems like such a massive escalation though.
Kang way smarter than Thanos first Kang is a mind scientist Kang got abilities to go back in time before the avengers was ever got assembled he can go back B.C it he want too and he that anyway in the comics and Kang got lots of villants of himself that means if you can that version of him you make more unless you find a way cut him off in time but good luck with that
And Kang go back in time to figure out which every hero weaknesses and take crontrol really can plan what happens to you before its even happens crazy right
Kang killed Thanos in the comics in one shot by aging Thanos to death
Kang has a far greater goal than Thanos and is far more sinister. The latter only wants the infinity stones to erase half of the population of his universe while Kang wants to conquer every universe there is that is the multiverse.
Is it just me or does Tony's Time Space GPS look similarly designed to He Who Remains wrist tempad?
That was the point
You know I'm a little obsessed with this Loki series I don't know if this is good bad or sad but I've literally watched it 13 times all the way through now
That empty chair in the illuminati belongs to the dr strange that went rogue lmao
I’m thinking maybe there was a version of the main timeline where Tony didn’t sacrifice himself and exploited time travel, so Kang had to kill him so that only he had more sway over it
So that’s why the TVA said the Avengers were meant to time travel.
Tony *does* exist on 838. It was revealed in an interview that in Universe 838, the Ultron program worked.
Ya but the program working doesn’t mean he’s there . For as long as we know mr. fantastic probably cracked the code on ultron .
@@dloading5858 It was confirmed in an interview that Tony made it
@@jacearmor5274 ok can you explain to me what a absolute point in time is? Is it just events you can’t change in one universe or in every? I thought it was confirmed by fiege that Tony’s death was an absolute point in time you can’t change in any universe . Doesn’t that make him dead ?
@@dloading5858 It wouldn't be the first inconsistency in the MCU.
@@dloading5858 According to Palmer, “this is a world where Ultron seemed to work the way Tony Stark intended him to work in Age of Ultron… This is a world where Tony cracked Ultron, and it worked.”
This, in fact, allowed for the rise of Illuminati, who took the place of the Avengers in this universe. Because Ultron worked, Palmer explained, the original Avengers were able to retire.
Always enjoy Eric's Videos
GREAT as always!
Seeing Kang see our avengers in his movie right at the start would be amazing but it's our team just a different universe then he moves onto our world, other I think he will be zipping across the globe fighting different groups at the same time
We're probably going to see a few Variants in Quantumania! I'm excited to see how they're going to get themselves out of Kang's Master plan.
Who knows, maybe it will be like Infinity War and Kang wins, or at least gets a partial victory.
Scott probably won't be able to escape Kang's plan in this film, he might be bound to it for a bit.

Wow....Great observation...This makes all the sense
Ok it would be both awesome and terrifying to see Kang slaughtering a version of The Avengers
The return point from the time heist was set (all returnung at the same time), just because cap and tony left at the same time, doesnt meant they went back together...
Tony could´ve made a detour and no one would know...who knows what tony could do with "infinity time and place"
Didn’t have enough Pym particles to do that.
@@meowski617 as they proved in that stop at the military base, there are other ways of acquiring pym particles. Or for that matter, if Tony travlled to the future there could be something more efficient than Pym particles
@@kennyfa2874 when would have Tony gone to the future? They had to combine Tony’s space time GPS with Pym particles to time travel. They only had enough for one round trip each for everyone and two test runs. Hank Pym was blipped so they didn’t have any extras to mess around with unless you are implying that it happened off screen. The only way Tony could have done extra time travel would be if it wasn’t the 616 Tony.
@@meowski617 steve literally grab a bunch of them when they go way back for the tesseract.. we never told how many he grab, he might grab a lot and share them with tony for a "just in case" and he use it to travel here and there
@@henzaen They showed Steve grabbing four Pym particles. One for Tony and Steve each to go back to present day. That leaves two more. Could it possible that Tony used them after they got back from the time heist but before they put all of the stones in the glove? Maybe. But why would Tony risk time traveling again before bringing everyone back especially Hank Pym because you needed him to make more Pym particles in order to time travel. Pretty sure he learned at the end of Age of Ultron not to put his own ambitions about technology ahead of the greater good of humanity anymore. It completely ruins the character development for Tony. He was hesitant to even help with the time heist to begin with. Plus we don’t know how much time passed between the time heist and Hulk’s snap.
if kang is involved in our tony dying though, i bet dr strange probably had kang as the major road block in his millions of tries. like if strange tried to let stark live, perhaps kang would reset that timeline? seems silly but they never showed what strange experienced.
Extremely excited to for this movie 🔥🔥
The moment Tony figured out time travel was the threshold he who remains was talking about!
Great video👌
Would that fanged skull/"Loki helmet" on Kang's shelf possibly be the skull of Ka-Zar's sabretooth companion?
Are you Reed Richards? Because that was quite a stretch.
I’d like to point out that, in What If…? Tony died in every. Single. Episode. I think him dying is like an absolute point, that if it doesn’t happen, the timeline would be pruned. It had to happen in order for He Who Remains to stay in power. Maybe Tony was the only one who could prevent Kang from misusing Tony’s technology.
Did tony die in the doctor strange episode? And i don't think he died in ep1.
@@nathanfisher9794 every episode he was featured in*
When it comes to defeating Kang that may be what they do go back and rescue Tony that would be eoic
Maybe it is He Who Remains helmet from when he was previously Iron Lad?
Can't wait to get The Kang Variants Because Majors Is So Good. Can't wait to get that in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty And Secret Wars.
Considering Tony's father like behavior maybe in other timeline he make Kang as an apprentice or student cause he sees something on Kang
Awesome & thank you!!! 🙂👍🏼
They should hire you you do a great job putting the pieces together.
I just finished watching a movie of this actor. Great actor! ‘The harder they fall’.
Can't wait to see big bad of phase 5 Kang face off avengers especially if possible Kang variants from different universes face off one on one it will be amazing in big screens❣️
I would LOVE it if Marvel manned up and showed a montage of Kangs killing Avengers. Give us that same dread we felt at the end of Infinity War as we watched our heroes get dusted, but this time it's so much more visceral and personal. That'd be amazing!
We may well see a killing montage BUT I feel the reason we didn't see it in L&T was because that would have removed too many other gods from potential future storylines
I just have one single question:
Where did Tony go in time to test his navigation tool before showing it to Cap...?
That is such an EXCELLENT question!!!! Never thought of it before, but it makes total sense. Of course he would test the equipment to be sure it worked properly, so yeah, where did he go? That's an awesome thought!
He didn't go anywhere
Hawkeye tested it
He went to yo mammas house
Hawkeye went back and brought a baseball glove back from his house when his family was still alive.
The scene in IW when tony & pepper were in the park.. that scene gets over looked.
That moment is gonna come up again at some point.
What if what kang is looking for is the time pad he who remains gave to Loki and sylvie
I've watched the Creed 3 trailer.. That built of Jonathan Majors is terrifying to play for Kang..
I don't remember Kang asking Scott if he killed him before in the trailer that came out a couple of weeks ago.
"You mess with time and it messes back.
You'll see"
But following MUC time travel, changing the past doesn't change the future, so Kang could have killed Tony before he discover time travel... I think 😅
Kang needed a solo movie facing off against the other kangs
I’m really curious how the Kang variants communicating to one another without them making it look cheesy. Also what if kang is ultimately connected to Shang-chi if so what if Shang-chi is the one who tells the avengers that kang is planning something.
Is that Mr. Fantastic's suit stretched over the the top of the trophy room??
I hope they go the route you’re saying.. highly doubt we’ll get such an explanation but we shall see.
So everytime someone time travels in the mcu they are actually going to a different universe at a different point in time since it won't affect the timeline they came from only the one they're going. That's why they had to put the stones back in Endgame to prevent an incursion with the universe they traveled to get the stones from.
Tony Stark is the Reed Richards of 616 Earth. He did the impossible and he did it in a week: Time Travel (Reed could travel the multiverse/group of Richard’s cult). Kang might tony ancestor instead of Doom
Him having that collection Desmond me off Metron from DCAU
I think charles saying the stumbling off the path doesnt mean they lost their way is more along the lines of spider mans " great power comes great responsibility". Like what if all the charles xaviers say that at some point in every universe
Wow would love to see that trophy cabinet and how many avengers and how many times he has killed them
I think the most pausible time is in Infinity War, the one where Tony is fighting Thanos alone. Could explain why there is a telescope by the window. So he can monitor that exact scene and make sure it happens as it should. Not with Tony winning prematurely, or Tony doing one his instant bright ideas like making the Time Stone go kaboom just before Thanos gets it at the last second. Or any other possible outcome where Endgame didn't happen. I say so since it kinda makes sense why Strange Only saw 1 out of the 14million timelines as the only time they won. Because Kang monitored that exact moment he immediately can intervene. Maybe at one time even personally and Tony managed to give him a fight of a llifetime that he choose to take the helmet to remember that specific Tony that he personally has to kill just so Kang can continue the timeline or Universe where he become He who Remained.
We're just not gonna mention the what looks to be literl skin of mister fantastic draped across the whole ceilng of Kangs collection room 2:20
😯😯
I believe the person that was missing in that chair was the 838 Dr Strange, because they told the story on why they had to stop him.
Mordo took his spot in that 838 universe
That seat definitely belonged to their Dr.Strange
In a round about way it sounds like you're saying The Collector may be a Kang Variant. That empty seat most likely belonged to Mordo but if not, Daniel Craig WAS suppose to appear in M.O.M. as Bolder The Brave. You can replace Amadeus Stan or just make him a Kang variant and build the Stark relationship from there
I've believed that loki was never about loki but Lokis role on Tony's death. Basically any loki that creates a scenario where Tony lives needs to be pruned.
The exact moment kang took a shit
Could Incursions currently be kain pruning the timeline
You would think He Who Remains would have had a cleaning staff, who was tasked to pick up the broken statutes.
Kang slaughtering multiversal Avengers in a montage would be a great opportunity for cameos lol.
1:40 that a saber tooth fossil I believe, not a Loki helmet.
If Kang killed Tony before he discovered Time Travel, agent Fitz would have figured it out in the Agents of SHIELD branch timeline.
And will the MCU make any references to these pillars that can send people through Time, Space, & Reality? Any connection to the infinity stones or the Eternals? I feel like Kang should be featured in the next season of Agents of SHIELD and he should go after Flint, since he has the ability to recreate these stones.
I'm scared 😱 of Kangs intellect and power and I haven't even seen the movie yet! He is worst than Thanos!!!
" Have I killed you before?" Is deep.
I figured the calculations are from Kang figuring out the space time continuum
Hmm is it OK if we can revisit miles teller as Reed Richards again? I think eh got the looks now
the best understated supervillian.
didn't they say in doctor strange that that seat was for that strange cause they said that the illuminati formed as response to thanos and that some sought ways here to stop him strange looked outside the universe
Yo I agree you should get hired by marvel! Best theories come from you and you entertain the future of marvel. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Orrrrr when Dr strange used the time stone in avengers infinity war. While we saw his head moving weird. Maybe he was speaking with he who remains. Letting him know the ultimatum.
There was some one sitting in every seat.
I'm pretty sure the fangs on Kang's shelves belong to the skull of Zabu, Ka-zar's saber-tooth tiger.
One day I want to see what whiteboard in your office.
I figured that empty chair was for their Dr. Strange.
it would be cool if it was similar to when thanos attacked loki and thor, just kang wiping out variants
Yes! A killing montage of Kang please!!! Make a dark marvel movie!! 💀🔥
1:38 I think that's a walrus skull with tusks.
Okay, so I'd love to see a Kang killing Avengers montage set to "Mr. Blue Sky", because to him it is just another day of work.
Looks like the skull of a sabertooth tiger (or some alien version) not a loki help to me.
What if the only person that can beat kang is kang 🤔
Younger kang A.K.A teen nathaniel richard A.K.A iron lad
Franklin Richards can just turn him into nothing. Kang couldn't stop Franklin no matter what he does.
If you consider the fact in Loki he seems to imply he killed the other versions of himself. It implies he IS the only person who can can kill himself.
Hmmmm....
'and this time, in a mobius strip, inverted'
Mobius.... Loki...

the skull with 2 sabertooth fangs was from conan the barbarian
You should be the next Kevin Fiegi for MCU
3:00 he said the line HE did!
Can we get a Pepper Stark Taking Out The Trash meme circulating 😂classic
Mr. Fantastic used a Time Machine to enter the chamber.... That was Doom's Time Platform.
an Inverted mobius strip, is just a regular mobius strip, so either that line makes no sense, or maybe Tony was throwing a joke at his computer?
the last seat in universe 838 illuminate is for dr strange since he was a part of the illuminate before he died
