- Here's how to enable or disable RCS chats on your Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ or S24 Ultra.
RCS chats allow you to send text messages over Wifi or mobile data. But to be able to use it, you have to enable the feature.
How To Enable RCS Chats On Galaxy S24 / S24 Ultra:
Open Messages app
Tap on profile picture
Select 'Settings'
Tap on RCS chats
'Enable RCS chats' as shown in the video.

It happens when you just removed the simcard without turning off first the RCS. With this, you need to reset your phone back to factory setting and RCS will be on again. (if not you have to go back to setting and turn it on)

Does it do it for samsung messages? My messages show read and delivered for everyone else on samsung messages except my wife. She has the 24 I have the 23

@@wtpcycles1217 mine actually just started working the other day randomly.
@@wtpcycles1217 It's carrier dependent. Enhanced Messaging in the Messages setting turns it on. The problem I have is I don't know if the UX experience is as good as Google messages.

Yes! Samsung no longer pre-installs samsung messages on samsung devices after the s22. So it's officially a wrap.
