I had the pleasure to do 8 gigs with James Cotton in a few clubs around Austin, Texas in the mid 20's. We played a lot of blues together and smoked a lot of pot, mostly MY pot. Ha!! James was great!! I am one of the most fortunate drummers who ever lived.

I saw the '77 Palladium Show in N.Y.C. Steepest theater I have ever been in. Edgar Winters was in the wings. I was toasty seeing Albinos and African Americans looking like a big zebra. One of the greatest moments in music is when Mudman starts a slow walk to the audience while howlin' " I'm a Man" now that is a Man. Thanks Muddy.

That is the great John Primer on vocals and guitar on the opening song TV Mama. He is still touring and recording. Check him out.

The guitar playing jumps up 50 levels once Johnny comes out in Walking Through The Park 30:06 His vocals are also strong. Muddy,Johnny & James put on some of the best blues shows, ever. Also BB King and Johnny could jam, so well together. Check out a search with both names.

It was a great show. Someone was waving a towel behind Mudman so he wouldn't drop.
