Joker 2 is about culture being upset when someone who claims to be a sadistic, rebellious Joker runs from his own shadow and chooses not to be then kills him for choosing so. It played a joke on the people who ridiculed the movie, so I would say it got things right. So did Penguin as far as him actually being The Penguin who’s pure evil. Two different takes doing two different things about very different characters
Man I feel like that highway scene is so underrated. The way the penguin selfishly and maniacally steps on the breaks to cause a massive pile up and kill so many innocent people just to try and get away once again captures how selfish and evil that SOB really is. Freaking phenomenal job by Reeves and team again for that. On top of batman also showing his courageousness and showing how much he doesn't care what happens to him at the same time. I swear there are do many scenes in that movie and show are a masterpiece.

Joker 2 actually makes joker 2019 much worse, since that film was not what Todd Philips intended.

I have always thought Penguin was always a better villain than the Joker when it comes to certain adaptations of Batman.

Well his adaptations are simpler to do since it’s either he’s a gang boss or he’s rising to the top.
