I agree with everything you said. :) It's surprising how weak the transmission is at times. This is probably mainly a problem in the E.U., the U.S. versions of DJI's drones don't seem to have this problem.
I didnt know that US versions are different 🫨 There are people saying that if u use 3rd party remote controller the signal gets better but eventhough its true it doesnt mean that u wont also lose the connection with the goggles 😅

Avata with FCC is amazing to fly. Fly it like a cinewhoop and you will love it. I’ve crashed mine a number of times. Not the drone crashing, me crashing it. It’s an amazing package with range, penetration in all environments I’ve flown in and most of all….It’s fun to fly.

@@erdemulubas DJI FPV is still awesome to fly. I am flying it 2 years now and I still love it! The Speed and the Wind Stability is far ahead of the Avata.
I think Horizon Steady is not valued enough, even tho it will reduce your final resulution by quite a lot. I have used it in strong wind and it works wonders.
When I turn on Horizon Steady I feel like I’m gonna crash the drone 😅 I feel like the drone will struggle with the wind and I’m not gonna feel or see it what’s going on when the HS is on 😅😅
Yea I actually crashed my drone into water today. Took a few dive with motion controller 2, and it was kinda laggy/not very responsive even tho the signal was 50mbits and good. It seems like the drone went into RTH mode warning right at the time the drone crashed into water. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. However I am not sure what to do next. Do you have any idea or tips?@@erdemulubas

I don’t have experience with custom made Fpv drones yet. So, I can’t recommend anything. But Avata is a Cinewhoop drone. If you want to fly Freestyle it’s not good for it. As far as I know there is no new Dji Fpv drone on the horizon for the near future… Thank you for watching it 🙏🏼🙏🏼
About your range problems rule # 1 of fpv: ALWAYS FLY AT LINE OF SIGHT... If you go behind a rock of course you will lose signal, aint no way it will thru... And try the fcc hack.. It will boost your signal... I have taken mine over 3 miles out no problem w the signal

I bought it as a fill in while my FPV was away getting fixed.. wish I hadn't, it's fun don't get me wrong.. but it's VERY loud. Don't like manual mode it breaks props. Little bugger falls out the air alot with sharp moves, if battery disconnects when crashed makes it had to find.. I've nearly lost it a couple of times in the bush scrub. Probly a fpv thing cause my spotter wasn't doing what he was supposed to and watch the drone..
Yea I broke the propellers while making flips etc aswell. Right now im nearby an national park where drones are prohibited. I cant fly it because its too load rangers gonna run at me at the first second 😅
Okay so while some points are good... but most points are pilot error or lack of knowledge, not that you lack any but here's some points: 1. Flight range: you can use the FCC hack (free) and increase the range. 2. Lack of log:you have d cinelike in the camera and it is not meant to film log. You can always attach a gopro for better quality. 3. Dangerous: Avata is one of the safest drones in FPV, cause of its cinewhoop styles. FPV DRONES are not meant for slow cinematic flying. Avata has alot of limitation i agree but not the points you mention, you cant look at avata from the point of a consumer drone like a mavic...they are two different drone...

I realized that some people on RUclips fly Avata for very long distances but I couldnt understand how 😅 For the rest of the things you said, I mostly disagree :) Answer for 2. So, it doesnt have log 😅 I dont want to risk the flight safety by mounting a GoPro on the top of the Avata. It may be okay to fly around your vacation rental but its a different story if you wanna dive from the edge of the cliffs when there is a GoPro on Avata. 3. I made the video from the perspective of a person who switched to Avata from a regular drone. Im not comparing it with custom made FPVs

On your reply for no.2, Avata is a cinewhoop, not a 5 or 7 inch fpv, a cinewhoop is not meant for diving or doing free style.. it's meant to do slow flying near people or objects and that is exactly why you can mount a go pro. You need a whole new type of FPV for mountain diving like the dji FPV for more safer flying or can get a custom FPV drone, although avata maybe possible for those type of flying it is not designed for that, if you bought avata for those type of flying, you made a mistake by purchasing avata and you probably will lose it, if not careful. You can't buy a Honda and expect it to go like Buggati can you, a cinewhoop and a 5 or 7 inch drones are meant for different types of flying.

@@EdinRahic i recommend you watch mad techs video on it, avata FCC is very simple, it's just a text file but you need to know which channel to be on, whether automatic or manual...mad techs explains it all..just search avata FCC free mad techs
if drone was less than 50 meters away at time of controller loss, it will fly straight home at same altitude instead of raising to set RTH altitude. If mountain diving, this is a certain crash.

Why not use the FCC hack and increase the range...it's free and it doesn't even void the warranty.

Yea I agree. Personally I will be waiting DJI Fpv II maybe because DJI Fpv is too old now but who knows...
