Really enjoyed this Paul, its great to see young folk getting into primative techniques. It may become really useful in the future.

I just love a long rambling video hahaha. Great pack in every sense of the word, I was waiting for you to pull a magic bunny rabbit out at the end and I look forward to seeing your camp video in the future

Hi Paul can’t wait to see you putting this primitive kit to use on an overnight camp, question on cutting tools considering you will rely heavily on fire especially in cold weather what will you use to process wood other than the knife as I take it saws weren’t used in primitive times or do you still carry your hatchet saw and knife and more modern equipment and mix it thx?

Hey Mick! Ah that's really kind of you thank you for the support and Taking the time to watch! Firewood will very much be a determining factor in where I stop to set up camps, I'll have everything I need to create fire stashed in my bag and from there it will be foraged wood, no modern tools, hopefully the fire I can create from my bag is sufficient to start the drying process of the wood that's gathered 😁

Great video mate. I really enjoyed seeing some of the kit you used when we camped and to see the rest here was even more educational. I'm looking forward to seeing you use more of it in the future 🙂
