Fun video! That Red Crow deck is one I have never seen! I agree about the melancholy faces on the Efflorescent tarot. I sold a copy of that deck a long time ago, and as you know recently required it in the Kickstarter bundle. The hands are especially bizarre, once you get past looking at the sad faces. But it is a deck I will hang on to, as you said it has its purpose. Little Monsters on the other hand is absolutely adorable and I think drawing creatures is her strong suit. I have never enjoyed the art of the James R Eades decks even though I really appreciate his talent! I feel exactly the opposite about the alleyman even though I don't own the deck. I would be very upset if all of the backs were the same. I think that part of the charm of the deck is the eclectic nature it offers. The 78 Tarot decks bore me. Having said that I don't own any of them or the Allleyman franchise. I find when reading for others the clearer they can see the cards and interpret them along the journey the better. Confusing decks are vexing for most people and I don't need the air of the upper hand reader when I'm giving readings. I like to drop into comfort with querents and I invite their interactions.

I'd love to see a copy of that Viking tarot trimmed to the artwork! The images on the old vintage decks are so attractive and different than what is being produced currently. I have my fair share have the vintage decks and they have their own section in my collection as they feel like they're of a different ilk. Merlin Tarot is oop.

When I have read for others, they have been sceptics. They take every opportunity to prove that I am wrong and have their Ah HAA! Moment. I would love to read for people that believe and just want a good reading.
Thank you so much for your conversation about the artwork on the decks!!! It is nice to see things from other people's point of view. I will always consider your words when using my decks.

@@carriegrice I don't personally feel that anyone should have to worry about filming out of print decks! I love to see them.
