These guys do some real world tests. All the other reviewers spend 5-10 minutes talking about the specs that can be read on the manufacturers website. These guys do what some normal people would do with their cars. So to the TFLC/TFLT guys, Nathan, Roman, Andre Thank You! BTW TFLT is an awesome channel! I just wish you would upload more frequently! Cheers
Get some proper snow tires on those two cars, would be interesting to see how both do in up the Loveland Gauntlet! Irregardless when you are dealing with those kind of conditions, a car with an AWD system is always really nice!
You guys are a riot..! Getting stuck without a winter supply & rescue kit.. Kit should include: shovel, tow rope & come along, first aid kit, cat litter for traction if stuck, ice scrapper for windshield, flash light & FOOD if no one comes to the rescue..!
The tires on both cars are designated as M and S or Mud and Snow. These are not summer tires but all season tires that the manufacturer supplies with the vehicle. FYI: This is a real world test of how the cars perform given the manufacturer specified tires.
+The Fast Lane Car yea man you guys flopped. Anyone who would use a sports coupe especially with that price tag would buy some decent winter tires. Yall are ghetto!
This is not the first time they have done this. When I asked last time(similar situation) I was told that 'I don't have to watch it if I don't want to'.
Infiniti puts some baaaaaad tires on the G37s from factory. My sedan had dunlops on it. I put some General Altimax Arctic winter tires on and it is incredible the difference they made in the slick conditions. You can really notice the AWD system and how it works when you aren't just sliding and fishtailing. As far as im concerned, the road just changes color now! But real world testing, and it is unfortunate more owners don't put better tires on them!
Guys I'm pretty sure Roman is aware that snow tires are better in these situations, but like he stated in the Lexus SUV gauntlet they test the cars as they're equipped from the manufacture.
Stefan Karlsson Not sure where you live Stefan, your name sounds Swedish? Anyway and I live in Colorado and drive a rear-wheel BMW with all season tires and consider myself an excellent driver. Been driving in Colorado for 18 years with no accidents. I respect your opinion, but not everyone uses snow tires to drive in the snow especially when the snow typically melts within a couple days(in Denver) and driving on winter tires can be a bit rough, but I digress. Take care.
Haha you should have been here in Ottawa a week ago! Lots of snow to test out AWD! Had to drive in my all season tires in the snow storm that day to go get my snow tires put on and when the mechanic was done (also a Russian mechanic lol) I drove around and you can immediately feel a difference. But it's super fun playing around in the snow with a Pontiac Torrent AWD. It's really a good Stabilitrak & AWD system
How many years have they been driving in snow? Good example of performance cars having no performance in snow or winter conditions, even with 4 wheel drive. I know some people think that 4 wheel drive will do it all, when in fact that sense of confidence is completely misplaced. Physics does not change no matter how many wheels are pulling or how smart the car is. Driver awareness is the best safety tool.
AWD is really meant for off roading but the public thinks it means that AWD is for snow. Yes, AWD helps in the snow but there is nothing that is guaranteed to stop you from getting stuck on pure ice going up a hill or when there, like in this case, a tire stuck in about 8 inches of snow. This could happen to any car, AWD or 4x4s inlcuded.
This shows that sedans with AWD cannot compete with the extra ground clearance of an SUV. Shame all these new suv's and crossovers are gradually getting lower and lower
Wow really? I only wrote 3 sentences. Lol. I said test the Stingray against Jaguar FType not the Loveland gauntlet. That's like racing a Yugo in NASCAR. Lol
High-end luxury cars are a waste of money in the snow, just stick with the climbers like Subaru. Love my 2012 Legacy! It hasn't ever failed me in the snow as long as the snow doesn't get deeper than 7 inches or so :p
Who would think that pulling off onto a snowy shoulder would be a good idea in any car. Unless you're certain of the snow depth, it seems like the outcome is fairly obvious.
You wish you had that hat,eh Roman :) it's all about the clearance and tires. Nice video, keep em coming! Andrey - как резина делает на снегу :)) привет, как вы делаете?.. :)
Have you seen the utube video of a Range Rover stuck in the snow with high ground clearance. With this Q60 all wheel drive or any vehicle with AWD or 4WD you have to have the proper snow tires for all snow driving. Did they tell you about what kind of tires on the Q60: summer, all season ? Why risk driving any vehicle in the snow without the best known and available snow tires.
OMG just because the manufacturer puts on those tires doesn't mean they're right for every application. If you track your car you're going to need stickier full on summer performance tires and for winter driving a good set of winter tires. Not rocket science. A quattro Audi would suck if it had summer tires on it but slap on winter tires then it would do well because quattro system can work it's magic.
The car comes with Yokohama ADVAN A83A. With that tire size, you don't have too many better choices, and very few snow tire choices. But then again, Infiniti should know by now that these guys do real world testing, including situations where some owners would dare drive into, with their false security of AWD and all-season tires.
lol funny video,i admit infiniti is not the best awd maker in the market right now but please...i freaking drive my g37 coupe on the frozen lake with light snow cover here...the main reason i get stuck sometimes is ground clearance...the awd system is capable to get the car out most of the times, turn off VDC, rock the car a couple of times, idealy get a traction aid
You guys don't know much about this car because there is a hook that you screw in to a hole on the right side of the front bumper and pulled out that way....
This is the q60 2014, it literally looks like the g37, but costs like 15k more.. The g37 has awd models also, I am not sure what year it started but I test drove a 2010 awd. I think the 2015 q60, or is it the q50 that is remodeled and looks a lot better.
you guys are getting boring with using improper tires for the conditions and then surprise surprise getting stuck because 2 adult, healthy men are not able to dig out 2 wheels with their hands, skis or boots for f*** sakes. getting stuck on a downhill slope like that is pretty lame. I wouldn't be surprise if you were tourists from FL but CO natives?? come on!!!! Also, for those hairpins and understeer try left foot braking next time and/or handbrake and/or power oversteer. Combination of all of the above would be best.
Are you guys serious?? Stomping the gas on an icy road is a BAD idea, on an uphill grade it's just plain stupid. Those aren't exactly the ideal tires either, I usually love your reviews, but this one is a joke.
How does the word outdated apply to a 2014 model? The engine and powertrain are fantastic. Nissan builds some of the best engines in the Business. It's a beautiful looking. I personally like the G35 body better, and it still holds up - infact looks way more expensive then what it costs. You can't just keep adding HP to a car just to make it better.
lairdriver The G37 Coupe was sold late in 2007 and was the 2008 model, it is currently 2013 now... in a few weeks, it will be 2014.. Let me see... 2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014... no engine change and exterior besides the rims and bumper...yes, it is a pretty outdated car..
LOL I drive a G37X coupe in the harsh canadian winters with all season tires I never once got stuck... NOOBS
is it the sports x model?
Eric Coleman only difference between the x and sport x is visual mods
Kudos to you, Roman, for posting this for our enjoyment.
Ah, the getting stuck test. One of my favorites.
Me too!
I’m glad Andre isnt used like that anymore
I was thinking the same thing. Some Russian stereotype.
That Regal looks good!

Irregardless might not be a word.......

I have never been stuck in the snow with my 07 Fusion awd. It works pretty nicely in the deep snow.
that was awesome that that guy stopped to help.. Love people in CO.
Roman and his great ideas...
How about using some winter tyres and then test awd system, testing it with summer or even ms tyres is a bit pointless.
The tires on both cars are designated as M and S or Mud and Snow. These are not summer tires but all season tires that the manufacturer supplies with the vehicle. FYI: This is a real world test of how the cars perform given the manufacturer specified tires.
The Fast Lane Car According to Michelin, All season tires would NEVER be as good as winter tires but it is just in fact a step up from summer tires.
+The Fast Lane Car yea man you guys flopped. Anyone who would use a sports coupe especially with that price tag would buy some decent winter tires. Yall are ghetto!
The Fast Lane Car how does it drive in deep snow on pavement
Why would you even drive this car in this weather, let alone without the proper tyres...
This is not the first time they have done this. When I asked last time(similar situation) I was told that 'I don't have to watch it if I don't want to'.
WojtekFigurniak I stoped it in the 1st few mins. More TFLTruck please, cars are for wussies
its snowing here in Maryland and we never have these problems!
Your snow skills are laaaaaaaacking.
Thanks guys, I enjoy your program!
Roman the "I hook" for flat towing is located in the grill. Pop out the plastic, screw the hook in and the pull
Nice vid. The snow looks great, hope we get some of that here in NYC soon.
It always pays to have a Russian mechanic and some good Samaritans.

Jesus Christ the S model has summer tires.....every video I accidentally come across with these people are incompetent. Please come off RUclips.
And if you played any attention you Wouldn't look like a bafoon. They test them as they are sold to the public
Damn it's been cold here in metro Denver this past week. Hope to see the mash-up soon, great job guys. Q60 looks nice!
arent you required to have chains when you go on a pass?
Looks like fun. I enjoy your videos, keep them coming.

And really summer tires?
And on tonight's episode you see roman and Andre go over a cliff in a car meant for Florida
uphill on a snowy road with the TC off? This could have gone from Mashup to sMashup very easily :/
Love misadventures need more, I've seen the ford escape and forester one
You guys should do Audi S5 next. See how the Quattro works up there.
This shows that sedans with AWD cannot compete with the extra ground clearance of an SUV. Shame all these new suv's and crossovers are gradually getting lower and lower
remember they have all season tires on. if they have had snow tires on i dont think they would have gotten stuck.
Its the tires, Genius!
You guys go for snow drives without even a fold up shovel?
tisk tisk :/
Ought to be a great mash up. Can't wait to see how the Buick does.
You guys should do a Stingray vs FType soon.
Wow really? I only wrote 3 sentences. Lol. I said test the Stingray against Jaguar FType not the Loveland gauntlet. That's like racing a Yugo in NASCAR. Lol
Need more misadventures
What kind of tires come with the car?
Did they have studded tyres or winter tyres? If not why would they even try this.
High-end luxury cars are a waste of money in the snow, just stick with the climbers like Subaru. Love my 2012 Legacy! It hasn't ever failed me in the snow as long as the snow doesn't get deeper than 7 inches or so :p
That's why you send Andre and Nathan
How about a sweet AWD mashup? put the Acura's SH-AWD, BMW X-Drive AWD, infiniti awd and Lexus awd :D
Who would think that pulling off onto a snowy shoulder would be a good idea in any car. Unless you're certain of the snow depth, it seems like the outcome is fairly obvious.

Чувак с России, красавчик!!
*****это фишка Шоу, как у Стиллавина
kkm mmk Как раз таки Роман его дураком никогда не выставляет
How does it compare to the Lexus LX570?
Could you please try and take a Mercedes ML or GL or GLK or G up the Loveland Pass?
OMG just because the manufacturer puts on those tires doesn't mean they're right for every application. guys please do it with the 14 4runner!! when you guys get it
Winter tires?
not surprised it got stuck. pretty low ride height
lol funny video,i admit infiniti is not the best awd maker in the market right now but please...i freaking drive my g37 coupe on the frozen lake with light snow cover here...the main reason i get stuck sometimes is ground clearance...the awd system is capable to get the car out most of the times, turn off VDC, rock the car a couple of times, idealy get a traction aid
Why is it called the Q60? I know it in America as the g37
it is -12 degrees here in Ottawa lol
HALF THE SNOW MELTED IN OTTAWA THIS WEEK
The snow isn't even that bad I live in Canada.
put some winter tyres and you won't have any issues in those conditions
Raul Marincas even with snow tires it may not have made it out. he pulled off into where the plows pushed the snow over to
So you take a coupe without snow tires, go up a hill without traction control and get stuck - whose fault is that? No hats and gloves to boot 😂
This guy doesn't know how to drive .
They could have easily pulled the Infinity out with the Buick. They didn't need a crappy Ford truck to do it...
Acura's SH-AWD is the best in the business.
You have got to be kidding...
I don't think he is because it is :)
its up there
why infiniti calls it q60 instead of g37 now?
If I'm not mistaken I think cause of the new g series replacement im not entirely sure why they did all
You guys don't know much about this car because there is a hook that you screw in to a hole on the right side of the front bumper and pulled out that way....
Can you guys try to get a Subaru wrx or sti and try this episode?
застрял блин.......резина ЛЕТО - но всесезонка для USA
how about the two dudes taping start pushing ...just a thought ....
Opel Insignia nice:)
Q50 please
No winter tires???? :O :O
Whoa here!! is this a Q60 or a G37 awd?? What the heck is the difference?? 10,000 for the option of awd?? I am lost, somebody fill me in
This is the q60 2014, it literally looks like the g37, but costs like 15k more.. The g37 has awd models also, I am not sure what year it started but I test drove a 2010 awd. I think the 2015 q60, or is it the q50 that is remodeled and looks a lot better.
Just out of curiosity u have a Russian mechanic that nobody understand
Do more like this
below zero... no hoodie and not hat... or even gloves ??? what the heck
Russian co-host = WIN!
Y'all need some chains just for safety so that you can stop to.
I hate that fake Russian bs. English! it's the order of the day...
You guys review real 4x4 why take a Infiniti in this weather
I definitely don't blame the car here. Conditions suck and poor tire choice. Still a great car.
I'm not sure that AWD suits this car ... doesn't appear to help much anyways.
Oh well, thank goodness for California's climate.
In colorado soviet russian drives you!
Summer sport tires do NOT perform well on any type of drive. It's like playing basketball with dress shows with leather souls.
so much for AWD
Нехуй на летней резине зимой рассекать !
get something bigger like a raptor
That's a g37, I think
It's Q60 now theyve changed all names
the camera guy speaking german is getting REALLY old now…
oh russian, wait… or does he not actually speak english?
Ben Ho I know, right? How long is the "only speak Russian" shtick going to go on?
Interest

Funny.. A Chevy Truck saves the day.. lol
Um.... that was a 97-03 F-150 not a Chevy.;
That was a 1997-2003 Ford F-150
So bad and he could have gotten out of there by himself
Shitty tires, no surprise
Russian forever
Check out Driving in Russia.. Russian drivers.. yikes !!
That Infiniti is soooo outdated
not really
