The Trans Pennine Trail - Liverpool to Glossop

Our cycle on The Trans Pennine Trail from Aintree, along the Liverpool Loop Line, to Widnes, Warrington, Sale, Stretford, Didsbury, Stockport, Hyde, Mottram and eventually Glossop. If we learned anything, it is that trying to cycle from Merseyside via Cheshire, Greater Manchester and eventually to Derbyshire and The Peak District is too much on NCR 62 in a day. It took us 11 hours and that is only when we decided to eventually cycle on the main roads 11 miles from the end. It's a bit of a disaster movie.
