G80 chassis is way better than F80 so far in my experience of owning both an F80 Comp and now a G80 Comp. I also fail to see any situation where the previous DCT was superior. Never was a fan of the previous interior but wish the new one had a little less tech (hate the gauges and all the settings for M mode are excessive)

200km of range on almost full tank. Range anxiety anyone? Jokes aside, looks like a pretty fine tuned car. Also, love the wrap, almost makes the car beautiful and the engine sound is gorgeous. More content like this, loved it Misha!
Range is estimated on accuall average consumpion. If it would do 200km on ring it would be quite impressive

From the way the tyres are complaining, Tim seems pretty nifty behind the wheel… although it doesn’t seem to be. The mark of a great driver, it looks easy, calm, collected… but It’s hellish fast, I’m sure! Need to get me a booking soon 🧐

The shift speed isn't set to the fastest, it's in level 2 and level 3 is fastest.

@@jeppewerring haha no worries. The setting really doesn't add anything, other than unsettling your car more for the "experience kick" mid corner. Middle setting is perfectly fine :)

Lucky enough to experience the backseat of the f80 in 2019. Lack of visibility did make me feel a bit queasy but the rawness of the vibration and driveline whine was an amazing experience! That said, as a casual tourist I think this setup with the standard seats is better so you can see the track better!

Question: The gauge cluster shows the gearbox being in (What would be on the M5 comp) 'S2' mode. Out of curiosity, was there a reason why it wasn't in S3 mode (supposedly faster / more aggressive)?
I mean, I do know that when it is in automatic mode, changing the transmission level makes a big difference, but S2 seemed pretty fast to me.
For anyone who doesn't know: The number of bars next to the gear indicator on the M3 gauge cluster is representing one of the transmission settings. In my experience, there is 3 settings for the "aggressive-ness" of the transmission. If all 3 bars are lit, then it is in the most aggressive mode, if only 1 is lit, then it's in eco mode. Then there is an option to select automatic or sequential (manual) mode.
But anyways, nice car! Seems to be pretty quick, so :)))
And additionally: Yes, the straight 6 sounds pretty nice, if/when y'all put an exhaust on it it will sound even better. However, as an American, and therefore an obligatory V8 enthusiast, I must say that the M5's v8 sounds better! (Although still not as good as a 5.0 mustang at full chat)
The gear box was in the second setting for shift speed, just saying
Good to see Tim there but that taxi graphic should have been ripped at the rear to look as if the taxi is moving fast, looks too static, the opposite to the driver.
Damn the back seats might need bucket seats again just like old taxi. The back seats dont have support so people move around more so there gonna feel sick faster. You might want to get some throw up bags for back seat just incase

Biggest diffrence between nordschlife specialist and f1 drivers. F1 drivers leave the track sometimes and sometimes they crash. On nordschlife you can never do that then your dead.
It says on Apex website the G80 has a DCT that is not true.
I Don't question the performance but would take any old m3 over this.
