- Jeremy Renner spoke with Tribute at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival about his role in the new dramatic thriller The Town. Renner dishes on working with director Ben Affleck, playing with guns on set and why TIFF holds a special place in his heart.
Set in Boston, The Town tells the story of longtime thief Doug MacRay (Affleck), who decides to get out of the crime business when he falls for a hostage after a botched bank robbery. MacRay's decision to leave his past behind puts him at odds with his crew of thieves, including his best friend Jem (Renner).
Favorite Actor! He's incredible, and so talented :) And he's one of my inspirations. I admire him so much, and look up too him. I love the fact he's not only an amazing Actor, but also doesn't seem Hollywood at all. I have tremendous amount of respect for him.
its crazy how different he is as opposed to his character. Man, what a great actor.
He was an absolute menace
Jeremy Renner is the truth. Back to back great roles for this guy.+
I love him such a good actor and a sly devil, loved him as Jem in this movie, sooo attractive it's his eyes I swear that say fall in love with me...
what in the world is with that awkward silence in the beginning...jeremy is like trying to pass the silence by looking at the poster behind him. 0:45
She was not all 'that' bad. The stupid banter was before the actual interview started. The interview starts officially rolling at around 1.02.
Worst interviewer ever - a man like Jeremy deserves better.
i like this interviewer. she's really nice. her other interviews are FANTASTIC. jeremy was probably really tired and you could see that he was totally put off by the tattoo thing at the beginning which must have been mortifying for the interviewer since JEREMY was the one making it awkward. Props to her for barrellling through. And her questions were not bad at all. Renner just wasn't cooperating. But it was a nice interview all the same.
He was so greeat! :D I was jumping on like basically every scene of his! One of the bettes bad asses!!
he was the best in the town he did boston accent better than ben did. you can feel how much he cant stand this interview.
This is one of the most uncomfortable videos I've ever seen. It's almost as if they just pulled a random girl off the street & got her to ask Jeremy Renner a few questions. Cringe worthy!
awkward silence in the beginning LOL
i liked the buzz cut better, and his irish accent was really good too
Why do him and Ben both look tired af in these interviews? 🤔
R money moves
Wow Renner looks really uncomfortable in this interview.
Who did the Audio for This???
MrShagnasty18 who did the editing!? Wtf.
@volikoto Jeremy Renner is an excellent actor, but nobody else can be Jason Bourne except Matt Damon!
Renner doesnt seem to have good answers to the interviewer's questions about the movie and all.. he keeps saying stuff like 'i dunno' and all that. but then again maybe its the interviewer that sucked? hmm.
either way, love this guy.. first SWAT then 28WeeksLater and then Hurt Locker and now This. Fantastic actor.. very nice.
OMG the interview is so hot for Jeremy lol
is he the one that will be in bourne 4? pardon me but matt damon is good looking than him....
He's so sexy!! Gosh I love him.
And he isn't replacing Matt Damon. He'll be a different character, not Jason Bourne.
rsrsrsr...meu deus como essa mulher e doida!!!rsrsrsr
He looks tired
aww, someone's tirrreddd
lmao i kno rite
He is always a bad interview! Every time I have seen an interview with him he looks and sounds sleepy. So either he needs to stay in and sleep the night before or he needs to dig in and realize that press is part of his job. He is an entertainer. It's his job to entertain the audience whether he is doing the fun part of making the movie or doing the not fun part of giving interviews. Suck it up! I'll accept he's tired when he does some hard work!
Uhm. . what the hell is up with this interviewer? BOO! Poor Jeremy looks so awkward! I learned better interviewing techniques in High School Journalism! DX
