Ha - this video coming literally one day before I go pick up my brand new Cactus Canyon SE! I'm still looking forward to it, though :) Thanks for the vids!
Congratulations on your newest machine. I used to have Deadpool LE sitting right next to my Cactus Canyon LE. Got wrapped up in Foo Fighters madness and traded for a FF LE and cash. I miss Deadpool.
Good overall trade Cary. Loved the humor and videography in this short! Only thing here is that I would probably not play a premium because you will love it more than pro. But this is always debated on mando and IM. So mileage varies. Either way, great way to change it up!!
Im not a DP movie or comic fan. I had little interest to play a DP. Once I did....HEAR COMES THE BOOOOOM! Its just one of the most fun pins to play IMO. 25 year collector and DP is in my top 3 of all time. Has one of the most satisfying shots in pinball around DP mini up the ramp across the PF down the sword. When you have this dialed in there is no better shot.
Deadpool is one of my favorite pins TBH. Love that Gomez layout and the codes a lot of fun and easy to get into. CC is a crazy good pin, but it's still like the other pins from it's time. Code is limited. Good trade IMO.
Great trade. Deadpool wins that competition everyday of the week that ends in Y. 😝 Owned a premium for almost 4 years and put a shitload of games on it! Beat the game at least 3 or 4 times. That still never stopped me from playing it either. It’s a great game and I miss it. Played one the other night and got the rude reminder of how just much I miss it! Awesome video Cary! 👍
Congrats on the new game. I had a deadpool pro for about a year and a half. I really enjoyed this game. But did get board with the same ladder over and over so when something new came in. I did sell it. But is a good machine no doubt and glad I got to enjoy it for awhile.
Same. The game is too dependant on luck to score points. Maybe you will/maybe you won't hit snnnkt. Nah, not for me. Had mine for two years before I gave up
Great trade. I have a DP pro too. I've had mine for 4 yrs and I haven't tired of it. It's definitely a keeper.. This is one of the few stern games where I actually like the game play better on the pro vs. the premium.
Great choice with Deadpool! IMO it is the perfect game. Hilarious callouts, super fun multiballs, great flow, fun modes, a very satisfying secret skill shot and the best 2 way combo in pinball, Ninjapocalypse. Enjoy! When will we get a review?
Your video editing to align the "Booms" was masterful! Well done! Great reaction video of your daughter seeing the new game. Knowing that you've played your way through CCr and you're having more fun with the Deadpool on location, this is a good trade. Blindly looking at the Pinside values, CCr probably had a bit of an edge, but trading up to a Premium would have likely required a chunk of change. You wouldn't have done it if the financials didn't work out, so I'm sure it's all good. Enjoy!
Kids are excited for a new pinball machine for about 10 minutes. Congratulations on your Deadpool. I think you made a good trade/purchase.Deadpool is the better machine from a fun standpoint. Cactus is limited as we all know by its ruleset.
CC is a fun pin to play on location, but for me in home environment would not last long. Good trade. If I was more of a Marvel fan would be in my lineup. You did good.
As an owner of a DP premium, I had a great time installing the shaker, art blades, Pin Stadiums + more. It’s a truly unique pin, & definitely has that “one more time” quality to it. Enjoy!
I like both games and haven't gotten too deep into either, but I've enjoyed cactus canyon a bit more than Deadpool. Both great games tho! Definitely need to do the pinmonk upgrades for my pins
I’m shook by the ease at which you unloaded and set up this machine BY YOURSELF. Whenever I purchase my first (it will happen) I think I’m flying you out to Jersey to help me get it into my basement 😂 I love both games but would agree Deadpool is deeper than CC, and has a far more original layout.
Straight trade? Tough call. Lean towards CCr. Owned CCr for about 7 months, but have played a bunch of games on DP Pro on location. Really fun but can't decide if I want to bring one home since a couple places have it readily available to me. Another MMr run, though, and it's a no brainer that CCr moves out!
8:29 I can't remember the law, but the gist is that the manufacturer has to prove that your modification made the machine malfunction. They can't just void your warranty because you cut a sticker and changed a fan. Learned from Louis Rossman, proponent of right to repair.
Its a $4-5 part bought from electronics suppliers (in low quantities, not sure about in bulk). In Stern's defense, they're buying an off the shelf power supply that happens to have a loud-ass fan. I'm not sure if Mean Well has a quiet-ass 48V supply option that costs a couple bucks more or if Stern has the clout to request an alternate version. They definitely wouldn't crack the warranty sticker to put the non-deafening fan in the supplies... so DIY or PinMonk is our option...
Rewatching the video. That is a Stern sticker... Oh Stern... Either way, they still wouldn't crack the supplies for the fan. Looking at Mouser, there are only a couple other alternative supplies >500W. All Mean Wells. One that looks interesting is a new 600W LRS model with a 60mm fan, similar to the 300W supply Stern used in the past. Since Pin Monk also has a replacement fan for the 300W's 60mm fan, its likely the LRS model is loud too...
Great game but hopefully you got some cash back for the trade. Otherwise, I would have pushed for the Premium (I'm biased with a Premium), the full orbit shot is one of the best in Pinball
I’ve played both on locations but never ones that someone owned. The CC seemed like a higher replay-ability factor than the DP but a pro version with the audio so low you can’t hear it… it does change a game. I would have kept that CC or traded for something else. Curious how it does in your collection though. I hear good things just haven’t experienced them myself with that machine.
I have a CC SE and a DP Premium. I got bored of CC in a matter of months..it’s still here though. Picked up a DP prem almost 9 months ago and I’ll never part with it, unless I get out of pinball. The layout and style never gets old. And surprisingly challenging as the game progresses. One of Gomez’ best designs if not top design. I only keep CC for the misses.
@@King_Henry I think that’s the problem with pro versions operators put at Public locations. The volume is critical to some of these games (music pins for example), and if they aren’t maintained well, the fun factor drops significantly. Then when it comes time to purchase a premium for the home, we base our experiences on those created by the pros on location. Appreciate your personal insight into the two machines. May need to look at DP again.
Not too much on the trade either way but the sleek warranty void if sticker removed and put back after exchanging the God awful fans stern uses is awesome. I do this to all my Stern machines. Actually Stern shouldn't even bat an eye why we do it 😂
Wait. Is that a VW Tiguan you loaded DP into? I use my Ram to move machines and its not lifted or anything ridiculous but being as high as it is its a bit of a PIA. My Wife has a 21 Tiguan, I didn’t think a standard Pin would fit🤷🏼♂️
Are you sure you put the fan in the right way? i would of thought the fan would be blowing cool air over the components inside the power supply? Is there an easy way to check?
Has lyman code been released for CC yet? Its been years and I still have yet to see it or hear about its availability.... that may have changed your mind about the trade, but George Gomez packed a ton of shots into DP that many dont know about until playing the game! I approve the trade because it's your decision!
Great trade but I think you are going to realize real quickly how similar this is to Foo. I own a DP and it didn't take me many games of Foo before it was time to move onto another game. The DP is a better game IMHO but will be curious to hear your thoughts! Enjoy the channel, keep up the good work!
Oh, and don't get me started on Stern's QC. My NIB GDZ upper flipper sleeve was wrong size. Too short. Had to replace it. Embarrassing QC. Kind of why I'm looking at a Godfather or Pulp Fiction next, maybe give somebody else my business.
not a Premium though? Deadpool is a great game either way... And yeah... premiums are pricey now... So I understand... but that return and the drops are just so satisfying.
Better staying power the CCre but this game gets old, very very fast. I dont even plug cash into it on location anymore because I've seen everything it offers multiple times. It's a real woodchopper
Good trade??? Man cactus canyon gets old so fast and is at the bottom on the Bally Williams 90s pinball list, Deadpool is on top 5 of all time best pinball machines. I only have played the LE and it’s a blast. Congratulations with the best upgrade you have ever done in your shows. Enjoy buddy
You know stern does not build these fans? They are generic. You can swap any switching supply into it. Amazon actually sells the Stern PS for 150 less than Stern.
Yea, they choose to use this psu with the loud fan though...it's all about cost control. The psu and fan do the job they are suppose to. They just do it loudly.
You hit it at the end, quality control. CGC better built than Stern, also you'll be bored of the Deadpool code much faster than CC.
I was in Fun! This past weekend and saw your CC there. I was picking up a Foo Fighters Premium on a trade. Very nice place!
Good overall trade Cary. Loved the humor and videography in this short! Only thing here is that I would probably not play a premium because you will love it more than pro. But this is always debated on mando and IM. So mileage varies. Either way, great way to change it up!!

The cable pull scene cought me off guard, you killed it 🤣🤣
Deadpool is one of my favorite pins TBH. Love that Gomez layout and the codes a lot of fun and easy to get into. CC is a crazy good pin, but it's still like the other pins from it's time. Code is limited. Good trade IMO.
Nice pickup, I miss having that game it’s so good. Only thing I found frustrating for me was so many shots brick if you suck at pinball like I do.
Great trade. Deadpool wins that competition everyday of the week that ends in Y. 😝
Owned a premium for almost 4 years and put a shitload of games on it! Beat the game at least 3 or 4 times. That still never stopped me from playing it either. It’s a great game and I miss it. Played one the other night and got the rude reminder of how just much I miss it!
Awesome video Cary! 👍
Love my Dead Pool pro. ! I think you did good. I find myself walking away with a smile on my face after every game. Have fun bro.
I got Deadpool. Your right, CC is a great game, but not as much code as Deadpool. Good choice.
The disco loop ramp on the premium is a must have
Congrats on the new game. I had a deadpool pro for about a year and a half. I really enjoyed this game. But did get board with the same ladder over and over so when something new came in. I did sell it. But is a good machine no doubt and glad I got to enjoy it for awhile.

lol. you pulling the wires made me laugh entirely too much
Deadpool, Great choice my friend. I almost picked one up. I thought for sure you were getting a venom.
Great choice with Deadpool! IMO it is the perfect game. Hilarious callouts, super fun multiballs, great flow, fun modes, a very satisfying secret skill shot and the best 2 way combo in pinball, Ninjapocalypse. Enjoy! When will we get a review?
right before I sell/trade it? lol

Fun superstore was awesome with my 2 pinball machines.
As an owner of a DP premium, I had a great time installing the shaker, art blades, Pin Stadiums + more. It’s a truly unique pin, & definitely has that “one more time” quality to it. Enjoy!
Love some Deadpool .. my current wallpaper on my phone is my Tilt Champion Photo with 1,235,300,00 bonus lost on Deadpool!😂😂
Great choice!
I like both games and haven't gotten too deep into either, but I've enjoyed cactus canyon a bit more than Deadpool. Both great games tho!
Definitely need to do the pinmonk upgrades for my pins
I got the walk-through video to help when/if you need it.
@@CaryHardy I'll be checking that out for sure. Thanks again for the live chat support last night! Appreciate you and all ur content
Cary…WINS! I love both games.
I’m shook by the ease at which you unloaded and set up this machine BY YOURSELF. Whenever I purchase my first (it will happen) I think I’m flying you out to Jersey to help me get it into my basement 😂
I love both games but would agree Deadpool is deeper than CC, and has a far more original layout.
I have never been to Jersey...
Don’t put it in your basement, it’s not a washing machine.
Excellent choice with deadpool. I highly reccomend pinwoofer and the movie soundtrack mod!
Well i was worried you were trading it in, but Deadpool is another just damn fun game. I find myself playing it alot at my arcade too. Solid trade imo
I am really excited for you! I only know you from the web but this is really cool!
Nice man - enjoy that Deadpool!
Deadpool (pro) lasted a collective 3 weeks for me before I traded it. Hopefully its better for you.
Great trade. I would’ve pushed for the premium but we all have our reasons,…congratulations!!
Welcome to the Deadpool Family, Cary
Deadpool is fun to play when it isnt in your collection, but sorta tiresome when you own one.
I play my Deadpool more often than my Godzilla…. Just sayin
Same here 😁
My DP has the dirty music mod. Not safe for kids.
Love my DP. It’s a keeper for me.
Pretty neat the amount of angle shots for been a one person production
I like the trade. I also think you're right about CC. DP is tons of fun.
Great game! I love the game so much I upgraded from DP Pro to Prem. Worth it in my opinion. Still have my Cactus Canyon as well.
Laughing my A$$ off on the Stern fan! Well played sir!
Looks like your lawn needs mowed. 😂
everything is dead. no way.
You got the better game IMO. Looks fantastic. You still need an alternative translite for that JP though. 😉
8:29 I can't remember the law, but the gist is that the manufacturer has to prove that your modification made the machine malfunction. They can't just void your warranty because you cut a sticker and changed a fan. Learned from Louis Rossman, proponent of right to repair.
He is correct.
Maybe our grand-grand-children will live to see Stern putting in silent fans in their machines
Its a $4-5 part bought from electronics suppliers (in low quantities, not sure about in bulk). In Stern's defense, they're buying an off the shelf power supply that happens to have a loud-ass fan. I just got a Deadpool Pro on the same run. I have a godzilla and WCS94. DP is my fav
Congratulations! Deadpool is a great game
Great game but hopefully you got some cash back for the trade. Otherwise, I would have pushed for the Premium (I'm biased with a Premium), the full orbit shot is one of the best in Pinball
Great video and content as always, as far as trade goes does your household love the change? Yes, then it's a good trade....
I prefer CC, but I dont have either for home.
congrats and great video...agree with this being Sterns best...kinda prefer the premium
I’ll never understand that fan. I still
Have to change my foos fan.
Good trade. Good video. Good grief that fan tho 😂
I love my DEADPOOL LE. Great trade! I recommend PinMonk's bracket lights (all of them.)
I’ve played both on locations but never ones that someone owned. it's a VW Atlas. Tiguan is smaller.
@@CaryHardy Ahhh. Makes sense. Was thinking I could use my Wife’s Tiguan for future machine. Guess not:(
Why not Deadpool premium ? I'm currently waiting on a new one from flip-n-out . Expecting it this November
Thanks if you respond
I may upgrade to premium. We shall see...
You traded one of my top 5 favorite pins for another one of my top 5 favorite pins!
Scoop not working, easy fix. Just put a couple of screws in the playfield in front of it like on the Earthshaker I bought.
Good trade choice. I have a premium on order.
I had Deadpool. Good game for a while, then you will get bored of it. Sold it for Iron Maiden Pro. Better game, in my opinion.
Are you sure you put the fan in the right way? i would of thought the fan would be blowing cool air over the components inside the power supply? Is there an easy way to check?
no. by creating a vacuum with the fan, you are sucking in cooler air from the other end.
Hellhouse scoop mod Cary? 😉
Humm, strange trade.
Yep, every Stern I buy, that fan is the first thing to do. Pile of loud junk. Nice trade I think!
Deadpool may not be the deepest game but it’s just pure pinball fun, good trade!
Deadpool is super fun! Love the snarky callouts too
I think You have made a great trade👍😎
I definitely prefer cactus Canyon over deadpool. But they're both great games.
Let us know when you'll replace the coil stops. I hear they're trash on stern machines.

did you purchase new pinballs for this? What is a good brand for replacement pinballs?
also i see your upping the production value, very funny vid, kinda reminds me of AVGN.
The Stern ones are fine for this game. No magnets. If there were magnets - I would get the ones from Titan Pinball.
Nice man! Did you offer to fix the Deadpool for them?
hell I offered to buy it! They never got back with me about it.
I'm not sure we can blame Stern for the loud fan. Let's blame Meanwell for not caring about noise or making a silent version of this power supply.
Stern makes the decision to use them though...
Very Smart Trade. Cactus Canyon is nowhere close to Deadpool!
Great trade but I think you are going to realize real quickly how similar this is to Foo. I own a DP and it didn't take me many games of Foo before it was time to move onto another game. having video evidence might void the warranty tho ;)
TimeSplitters music!
not a Premium though? Deadpool is a great game either way... And yeah... premiums are pricey now... So I understand... but that return and the drops are just so satisfying.
Service rails on a pro? Is that new? No more cheap pogo sticks?
You're kidding. That's been changed for years.
Oh man... Im not sure... IF that Lyman code comes out......
I can literally hear the fan... yet again you seem to be detached from reality.
A Ford Pinto! That's my guess!
Best Intro!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why not a premium?
who knows. I may upgrade this one to a premium in the future...
Should have donated blood for a while to save up for premium 😂
Better staying power the CCre but this game gets old, very very fast. I dont even plug cash into it on location anymore because I've seen everything it offers multiple times. It's a real woodchopper
I would have kept Cactus Canyon. Love Deadpool.
Android being Android : ). Anyways. During Disco Multiball, is that sound from Black Knight?
Good trade??? Man cactus canyon gets old so fast and is at the bottom on the Bally Williams 90s pinball list, Deadpool is on top 5 of all time best pinball machines.
I only have played the LE and it’s a blast.

Enjoy buddy
Still happy with the choice to trade? Are you going to miss CC or not really
still happy!

Great video, but those pinstadiums are too much.
Good trade! I can see the fun factor on DP to last ALOT longer than CC.
