Having watched a video by Green Mopeds in the UK, it would seem it is possible to get a Y cable for the batteries, so that you don't have to keep swapping them. Although, by the looks of things, the cable that connects to the batteries would reach either battery, so swapping it over is a 5-10 second chore when doing longer rides.
You can also buy the Soco Y-charging cable Part No. 55510013 to charge both batteries at once, the cable also allows both batteries to be utilized without unplugging and doubles the range.

Traktor Slakt You just repeat the step that you did to make it faster. Honestly I would keep it capable of going 65kph but just not go that fast if you don't have to. It's safer to have the speed in case you need to move out of trouble.
After removing the factory setting limits, how is that impacting (all three modes)? After you have removed (17km/h) this limit speed and now the maximum speed goes to 58км/h, do you still suffer slowness on take off after stop? Thanks
Mazen Dahdal Honestly I only ride in sport mode because the speed limit where I'm at is too high for the other modes. It would be best in a city where here speed is usually limited to 25mph or 40kph. Even after unlocking there is not quick acceleration.

Top speed isn't really 45 kmh. You can unlock the real top speed (about 65 kmh) with a fast and easy procedure, using brakes, throttle and the kindling button. They say top speed is 45kmh because it's a moped so if they declare that the bike can reach 65 kmh it would not respect law
One thing I can't find any info about for this product is servicing. Does it come with a servicing manual? Can regular motorcycle dealers easily replace the brake discs and pads? And what about the tires? Is it a standard size? Can replacement tires from reputable brands be easily found? Pretty important topics I can't find any concrete info about.
JeroxB Doesn't come with a service manual. Any service center should be able to replace brake pads and discs there is nothing different about them. The tires are on 17 inch rims so can find new tires that would work. May be wider than current tires but will still fit.
Is that an assumption? I just want to be absolutely certain because if it's somehow a pain to service or get serviced I'm probably not going to get one. If they ever become easily available in the EU that is T-T. Also I wonder how warranty would be handled. Should there be a manufacturing error in the electro motor or battery or something else, would it be easily solved? Is there any warranty on this bike and/or the battery at all?
JeroxB I haven't had to have my bike serviced or tires replaced so can't be 100% sure. But know people who work on bikes and they say it's still standard to work on them. They just have cheaper parts on them, and when I'd need service they would get upgraded.

Have you tried it on a steep hill? Im very interested on this bike but Ive heard these direct drive models tend to suffer hard on steep climbs speed-wise
Juan Pablo Ramirez Yes on steep hill speed drops dramatically. I am in process of bringing mine to the Jersey shore where it is all flat terrain. Where I live most of the time there are just too many hills and the bike isn't good for that.
So, $1250 for a complete bike and charging system, and $700 for a battery...did it not occur to you to purchase 2 bikes, giving you a second battery, a spare charger and every replacement part that you will need for an extra $550 investment? Tires alone are going to cost you a couple of hundred in a few years. You probably could have even negotiated a lower price by purchasing 2 bikes.
The cost for shipping was a lot of money and the cost to ship 2 bikes would have been even more. So I did what I had to do to get what I wanted. Thanks for your input tHough.
@@straightedg4lif912 Sorry if I came across a little judgemental, it's not what I was going for. I always consider bulk buying in cases like this as a way to reduce my overall expenses.
Ramon Carty I got motorcycle insurance through Geico. I had to register it in Vermont, since it doesn't come with an MCO then transfer it to my state. Although I haven't switched it to PA yet. You can Google Vermont title loophole to see what I did.
Straightedg4lif did you call it a moped? And when they asked for the make a model were you able to type in your own or did you choose something similar?
Ramon Carty No in PA mopeds can't go faster then 25mph. I had to insure it as a motorcycle. I called it a Vmoto Super Soco. They had to call me to verify it since online there is no vmoto selection.
i am really interested in buying a super soco, but the only place in sweden where they sell them they say it goes 45/kmh but i know they can go up to 65/kmh. If my soco arrives and it maxes 45/kph is there any way i can make it go 65/kmh? i guess it goes 45 because thats the top speed of a moped but i want the full capacity of my bike if i pay full prise.
daniellgran There is a way to unlock it to go faster. At least mine could but mine also came maxed out at 20kph. I have gotten mine up to 63kph so far but seems to want to be in the 55 kph range most times.
daniellgran You have to have kick stand down turn throttle back while holding both right and left brakes. Have someone hit the start button to turn it on while doing the above step. Hold throttle and brakes for ten seconds. Release throttle after ten seconds but keep brakes squeezed in. Then turn throttle in again for ten seconds while continuing to hold the brakes in. Then release everything. That should do it, that's how I did mine.
and just one more question. Do u have to do that every time to make the moped go faster or do u just need to do it one time and it goes fast for ever????
Locking back works the same way as unlocking. If you need to know how to do this, there are enough videos on the internet showing the procedure. But one hint. Whatever the Clips say. You dont need to hold the left brake. It will also work with only the right one...
Sripal TAD It will vary I'm sure, where it's going and company used. I paid quite a bit $1,100. More than I wanted but no other electric bikes I liked except a Zero and can't afford one of those just yet.

@@quinkin8019 there's some videos on RUclips about this, most people bring them to their local dealership. Think this was stopped on later models/motor controllers though, understandably puts more heat strain on the battery plugs.

I’ll admit it does look good. But I’m not sure what you paid for it, but weren’t there any American made electric Motorcycels you could have bought? I know there are a few. But I’m sure they cost more, but service will be an issue for you if something goes wrong! But I do wish you lots of luck, but I could never ride a bike that looks like that at just 45 mph! Jpg to mpg is easy. For every 10 mpg equals 6.2 mph! 100 mph is 62 mph! I noticed the left hand level, is that the rear brake?
K. R. V. Yes, left hand lever is rear brake. In the U.S. there is only one electric motorcycle and that is the Zero. Very expensive but I am getting one this spring, this is just to hold me over. Thanks!
Straightedg4lif actually there are three manufacturers in America! Zero, Brammo now owned byVictory for Motorcycel production and Cummins for power delusions, plus Bell Custom Electric Motorcycels. In order of cost! It like anything you get what you pay for! That little bike you bought is more or less a moped, but does look great! You want to see a wonderful electric motorcycle? Google The Harley Davidson electric bike, it’s called the Live Wire, has a 130 mile range and can recharge in about an hour! Do from 0-60 in four seconds and top speed is 100 mph! Dustin Smith Yeah that's a lot of $. I personally don't think it's worth that much. Besides the 75kph is being generous. Mine claimed 65kph and only got it up to 59kph. That's also with a full battery so once it starts to deplete then it only goes 52kph.

Straightedg4lif ok. have you pay for the bike? i want this bike but the shop worker says its better to wait for the second version. he says its hard drive on road and the wwighr is very loss if blowing mind or little crash he fall down. sry for my english haha
Al Todo I paid through bank account transfer. I paid $1,250 for the bike and $700 for additional battery in US currency. It is a lightweight bike so if it's very windy out you will blow around a bit. It doesn't go that fast so shouldn't be a problem controlling it. The second version could be better, they usually work out any kinks but I did not feel like waiting that long. I think it's a good bike for the price. I think it rides very smoothly.
Straightedg4lif i unterstand you. i cant wait but i must. you have buy a good bike i like it !!!! in vienna is the price 2890 Euro . send me your bike :) for the same price . you make a good deal with the second battery. do you see the other super soco like retrostyle? i hope you have fun with the super soco

Brayden the BIGBOI I think it has to have pedals to be registered as a bike I don't think this one comes with pedals but motorino who makes e-bikes does have a bike exactly like this with pedals and only goes 32 km
You can regain energy by turning back to mode/gear 1 while rolling (this will take the motor as a brake and gain energy back for the battery although this will take a few seconds to start so this would only be useful downhill..)

If you have not yet figured out how you can make the motorcycle faster. Here is the official manual drive.google.com/file/d/0B9HqJ7g57-lMcnpSZE9fSDJOWWs/view?usp=drivesdk
Muhammad Sohail In sport mode the official range is 60 km. After this hack the range is 45-50 km in the city. If you drive at hilly areas the range is 35-40 km with one battery. The speed limit is 63.
How/where did you find this? Is there a service manual or more extensive manual for this bike available? Would love to find more info on how to replace the brake discs & pads.
I mean I love what I see and hear about it. Good price for the range it does and it's fairly fast, just be nice to see it do 60+ mph. I don't own one yet.
To me, they made a mistake. Yes... the brake is on the handles on scooters. NOT ON THESE KINDS OF MOPEDS! >.< This WILL cause accidents. Many people who ride this type of mopeds or motorcycles are used to a clutch and foot brake. This will happen: When one of these drivers comes close to a intersection, they will instinctly pull the "clutch" and since you often pull it quite hard(Harder than is necessary for a brake) they will brake really hard instead. :p
Who came here after revolt 400

@@straightedg4lif912 actually I'm looking for a cheaper one , day to day use , for work, around 10 miles per day.
3500$ it seems to much , but it is a very good looking bike.
Again, great videos ! Cheers from Roumania !
@@ciupik8571 if you don't mind something smaller, why don't you try the Fiido D1 ?
Have you tried it on a steep hill? Im very interested on this bike but Ive heard these direct drive models tend to suffer hard on steep climbs speed-wise
Juan Pablo Ramirez Yes on steep hill speed drops dramatically. I am in process of bringing mine to the Jersey shore where it is all flat terrain. Where I live most of the time there are just too many hills and the bike isn't good for that.
hi, was it really 1250 USD for the bike???? In Europe it us about 3000 USD.
Tullebus :D Yes but had to pay shipping so cost me over $3,000 total with the extra battery.
Ahh, I see. Thanks for swift response!
how much was the import taxes on this?
What are the laws regulating this bike. Is a license required? What's the age required to ride it?
magmatron 07 That would depend on where you live. In PA you need a driver's license so would have to be at least 16.
Okay, thanks
Thats a cool bike!! Coolest actually .. I'm from Bangladesh, if i could buy one of it in here, i wish
@@straightedg4lif912 how much was it in total with shipping plus an extra battery?

Is that machine gunfire heard in the background?
What type of insurance did you and and how did you register it? I should be getting mine soon. Im in the US, thanks for any help.
Straightedg4lif i glazed over this earlier but, what is a MCO?
Ramon Carty Manufacturer Certificate of Origin, basically a title from the manufacturer.
i am really interested in buying a super soco, but the only place in sweden where they sell them they say it goes 45/kmh but i know they can go up to 65/kmh.
I have gotten mine up to 63kph so far but seems to want to be in the 55 kph range most times.
how do i do that??
daniellgran You have to have kick stand down turn throttle back while holding both right and left brakes.
Thank you so much for the help!!! Is it going to be any videos of u riding the bike??
and just one more question. Do u have to do that every time to make the moped go faster or do u just need to do it one time and it goes fast for ever????
Nice E.bike, liked it, we have a dealer for them, but I didn't visit it yet, ist really good, or u don't advice?
Momo Ansari I think it's a great bike. I would only advise against if you need to go faster than 60kph.

How's the pick up?
Non existent. If you check out the riding videos you will see that it takes quite a bit of time to get up to speed
@@straightedg4lif912 Thank you for the response. Can I use it on highway? Does it wobble if a truck or bus pass by while riding?
Is there any way to lock the speed limit again
Locking back works the same way as unlocking. If you need to know how to do this, there are enough videos on the internet showing the procedure. But one hint. Whatever the Clips say. You dont need to hold the left brake. It will also work with only the right one...
I found the answer a few weeks ago, and mine can go up to 70km/h, but am glad that you wanted to help, really appreciate it man 👊
Where did you get yours from?
what is the shipping cost and customs
Sripal TAD It will vary I'm sure, where it's going and company used. I paid quite a bit $1,100. More than I wanted but no other electric bikes I liked except a Zero and can't afford one of those just yet.

And also he wants me to pay everything at once, did u also do this?

J Beeker Yes, I paid by bank transfer and paid all at once. I was a little skeptical of this but I received my bike no problem.
Thanks for the quik answer! i am a little skeptical too. but for 2200 dollar all-in i am willing to take the risk!
J Beeker You're welcome. Enjoy the bike!
RedaSkateboard no not yet, its chinese new year holiday so the chinese dont do anything for 3 weeks. The 25th of feb it will be shipped.

PS. There's a new model of this called the TSX, it goes a bit faster too. 😁
Is it 50 or 125
@@quinkin8019 50cc if restricted to 30mph but 45mph top speed if unlocked, being derestricted from the slower speed makes it a 125cc class.

That's from China? I guess they really are good at imitations beacuse that bike looks so similar with the 2012 KYMCO K-PIPE 125 that I bought last September 27, 2014. They have the same styling except my K-PIPE is skinnier that your SUPER SOCO TS1200R. You should check it out and see for yourself.
But sadly not in production yet and will be around 20-25k!
The website says, the bike goes 45 kph and you say it goes about 60 kph. Which is right?
its 45
Im looking into getting one. In Canada its called Motorino GTL but it goes to 75km/h. Here its $4500😦 and $1500/battery we get screwed up here.
Dustin Smith Yeah that's a lot of $. I personally don't think it's worth that much. Besides the 75kph is being generous. Mine claimed 65kph and only got it up to 59kph. That's also with a full battery so once it starts to deplete then it only goes 52kph.

Al Todo Thanks for the reply. This bike is just for a couple years until I get a Zero. I like how lightweight it is, and am only using it to cruise around down the beach for fun. Not using it to commute or anything.
Al Todo I have seen the Soco TC it's not my style but nice. They also have the Soco TS Pro which is supposed to be a better version of the TS. Maybe they will have that in Vienna soon, or you could inquire about it.
Do you need a license for this
Alexander Ro Depends on your state. But you would at least need a driver's license in most.
Alexander Ro in canada it is registered as a bike. You have to be 16 to ride it but dont need a lisence
Brayden the BIGBOI I think it has to have pedals to be registered as a bike I don't think this one comes with pedals but motorino who makes e-bikes does have a bike exactly like this with pedals and only goes 32 km
does it have regen braking
TechDante No it doesn't
You can regain energy by turning back to mode/gear 1 while rolling (this will take the motor as a brake and gain energy back for the battery although this will take a few seconds to start so this would only be useful downhill..)
Dude did u notice that.....it had 81% charge at starting of video but then it becomes 80% ... 1% charge lost on just standing of the bike....😲🤯🤯😂😂...think what if we ride it for 1km then.....😆😆
Riding g it wouldnt use as much, when the wheels move it probably re-generates some of the power
Or it could say like 81% when it's actually only like 80.1%
Oh ..here in India these bikes are selling with brand REVOLT
If you have not yet figured out how you can make the motorcycle faster. Here is the official manual
drive.google.com/file/d/0B9HqJ7g57-lMcnpSZE9fSDJOWWs/view?usp=drivesdk
Fabian Lanzerstorfer it will consume more batter no? What will be the speed limit after that hack though?
Muhammad Sohail In sport mode the official range is 60 km. After this hack the range is 45-50 km in the city. If you drive at hilly areas the range is 35-40 km with one battery. The speed limit is 63.
How/where did you find this? Is there a service manual or more extensive manual for this bike available?

Hello sweet ride I need to see you ridat so I ken see if you ken pedal it no problemes 😀
André Solide I sold the bike. But mine did not have pedals.
Cool
To me, they made a mistake. Yes... the brake is on the handles on scooters. NOT ON THESE KINDS OF MOPEDS! >.< This WILL cause accidents. Many people who ride this type of mopeds or motorcycles are used to a clutch and foot brake. This will happen: When one of these drivers comes close to a intersection, they will instinctly pull the "clutch" and since you often pull it quite hard(Harder than is necessary for a brake) they will brake really hard instead. :p
and oh, btw.. I am wondering if you could tell me where you bought yours from? =)
