For the tomato sales later, you can drop the sides of the trailer for a flat bed. It may help if you want more of a base on the trailer. Also, might want to grab the fertilizer pallet when you sell the straw bales.
The reason for the variation in the sugar beet prices, despite no change in the in-game market, is likely due to decimal point changes. The true price does not change per $1, it changes in small increments via decimals, but it *shows* per $1 in the in-game market. Hopefully that makes sense.
If you're gonna keep growing sugar beets, you should get the front loader attachment that lets you cut them so you can sell them for more money. Its a bit pricey, about 15.5k I think it was, but it will easily pay for itself after the first harvest if you plant a big enough beet crop.
With respect to the stacking... the way you put the very first tomato pallet in was correct... now, with the second one, you should have rotated it 90 degrees from how you placed it. you can fit that row like that, and the other row oriented like the first pallet. That's the best way to load that particular trailer.
I think for me it must be from watching my dad pack the car when I was a kid he made every thing fit in the trunk with taking up as little room as possible
the reason its 5009 and not 5000 pounds is because in the games hidden logic the price is smt like 500.9/L but the UI rounds down instead of the logical way were above 0.5 rounds up and below 0.5 rounds down so it shows a nice none decimal number but still uses the actual decimal value for calculations. an extra 9pounds is still an extra 9 pounds ;p
6:10 You can get 2 1/2 across. so if you stack one row on the edge from from to back, you can stack the remaining space side-to-side. Basically instead of [ | | ] you get [ | = ] ... So 3 Pallets instead of 2 per trailer-width. Its hard to describe it with words... So one line of pallets that is in line with the length of the trailer, and another row besides that that is 90° rotated.
daggerwin you CAN go three across on the flatbed trailer u just have to remove those flaps on the side and then put the 3rd one a bit on the edge it wont fall off but it will make it three across on that trailer
first. Great video. love weekends. you really need the exhaust flapper on this tractor i think it is 200.00 but so cool. the JD batwing is good for starting out but its 15k... you can use it as a mulcher or mower. so it will help your yield and is has a very wide cut also. or a Lizard RDRM 300 mower..$2100 its more of a flail or bush hog as we call it in the states. you can get a very small toolbox $750 for a workshop also. this tractor will run any of these mods ive used it on the batwing also.
I look forward to this series every week! I wish you could do this 4 days a week instead of Calmsden, tbh, but I'll just have to make myself satisfied with 2 a week for now.
I would have bought the conventional small rectangular baler and had money left over to upgrade the counterweight. You have that flatbed trailer to haul small rectangular bales on it. After selling the bales and wheat, then buy the round baler, the tether, windrower and wrapper.
I’m enjoying all of your series. I would have gone for the cheaper small square baler, it would have left you with more money to purchase a shed sooner. Just my opinion:)
a mower/conditioner would be a good option, plus there is the X06 and X86 series international harvester/farmall tractors for about 6k for cheap hp, your first tractor is sitting there as a good trade in
The reason you got more than 5000 per load is that you are able to take more than 10000 litres a load. If you look at your loaded capacity bar at @16:29 you'll be able to see it says 10011 litres. It's cool.
Playing the same map and farm as you I opted for the old baler with the pull along self loading trailer mod ,so much easier in one hit although I had to quickly upgrade the tractor to pull it up that darn hill.
In my game i'm making good money selling silage. You do spend a bit more leasing a baler with a wrapper, but you don't need a big field of grass and once a year it pays for it self several times over.
There’s a mod with fairly cheap silage silos where the sides are made of old tires. He could afford that; the smallest I vaguely remember costing $2k. And the small modded Amazone Profihopper is only $5k.
No point having a rule saying you can't use greenhouses that ony take water imo. When you get a greenhouse that take manure and/or seeds you'll have a choice of either go for manure and get a higher yield or stick with only water and get less. Why would you want to choose the lesser option.
I'm more worried about the damp destroying those post cards than the price/market. Will be a total loss then! I always love the avant loader mod for moving stuff around early game. Plus the other attachments are super convenient. Early/mid game it starts to live at the greenhouse or sheep pens due to they can move a bale or a pallet easily
If you set the output method of the greenhouse produce to distribute, it wont spawn until you are ready to cart it to the sell point, so it wont be left out in the weather. Imagine that they store it inside.
He needs to download realistic cab view and manual attach. I think its called realistic cab view, its really good, allows the player to lean forward in the cab.
This is one of the coolest things on RUclips how you can start with nothing good then build up. I don’t know how to do it like you did but looks so fun and rewarding
Love the videos. I got a question though. Can the AI make fields? Just bought the game but have not played it yet and last I played was Farming sim 19.
Regarding your 5009 pounds mystery income, it is possible that the price may have cents that are not shown, or that the display price is rounded to the nearest 10? That may explain the difference.
on fs19 those greenhouses i never liked due to just how loud they are, water sound you could hear 100's meters away. without that crazy loud water they ok but not with the un realistic amount water spray and loud sound. thats my thought on the mod
Hey Dagger i was wondering when you get enough money to look in modhub for a "lada niva"? I do want to own one when i can so seeing use it would be realy cool! Thanks for reading my comment!
If he'd gone and picked that straw up in the grass plus all the other bits he'd missed, he would have had more than enough to finish the bail... Daggerwin always leaves loads of straw and grass behind.... Lol..
Yes, cost/bale is quite high at the moment, but as it produces more bales it will reduce. (When it produces 3 more it'll go from $13k/bale to $6.5k/bale🙂)
@@thepaddockengineer6.5k spent per bale to recoup around 155 quid per bale is highly inefficient. The profit margin for bales is really low. Not worth the investment in my opinion.
I tried in my game a little trick. If you buy a tree in landscape category old Spruce for 2200€ and clean it and cut it you can get around 6600€ back. Maybe try it if you want but I'm not 100% sure.
Why would you spend that much on a bailer sure it’s cooler but a forage wagon would have picked up the straw and given you the same price that was a dumb buy
For the tomato sales later, you can drop the sides of the trailer for a flat bed. It may help if you want more of a base on the trailer. Also, might want to grab the fertilizer pallet when you sell the straw bales.
keep going with the survival challenges i love them they are my fav
The greenhouses that take manure and seeds… spawn 3 times faster than the regular greenhouses

true
Or if you notice the trailer had been over the 10000 he has been selling 10011.

In haut-beyleron pallets don't spawn because there was a update that you can have an max amount of pallets on the map and not more.

I've used the Callignani in real life for many years. It's a work horse like no other, especially in small fields and mountainous terrain!

In my opinion the reason you are getting more for the beet sale is........ The beets in the front bucket is extra over the 10000l in trailer.
I love your vids this is so much like in real life farming.
It's going to take a few years for that bailer to pay for itself lol
I am old but watching new series
I love your videos so much
Im really enjoy this so far would you possibly be able to do a 1 hour special every 10 episodes

My dad had exactly the same baller just remembered the belts were always a nightmare kept on breaking
Dagger I love this series
I use the same baler, it's the worlds slowest but does a good job. Have you seen Alien Jim's new map? Anyone get eye strain playing on it?
This is one of the coolest things on RUclips how you can start with nothing good then build up. I don’t know how to do it like you did but looks so fun and rewarding
Get power tools from the mod hub, add money, pay off loan, buy starting machinery then set bank balance to 0 and away you go
probably already figured this out but the tubes were over 5k becasue of the bucket load.. 500 * 10000l (grain trailer capacity) was 5k
You keep using the power tools mod for super strength you have lumberjack mod so just need to double press alt key for super strength
No the price didn't go up on the 3rd beats load, you had 10011 Liters + the bucket .
The bucket is included in the 10K, the trailer can only hold 8K
@@DonGorgen yeah, i wasn't sure about that so put it in there just in case :)
Good video daggerwin
£5,009…. Small shed and 3 tesco meal deals👌
I don’t know if the mb trac is available in fs22 but if yes, it would be a great choice. Starts with i think 90 hp for 45.000.-£ in fs 19.
How about a small silage bunker?
Buy a haybob it does both tedding and windrowing and it’s cheaper
You can put that weight block on the front of the tractor I think
The quality seems to be capping at 1440p60 for his videos lately. It should be 4K. Must be YT messing up the render.
My phone probably doesn't have 4KHD lol
My iPad does. 4K isn’t showing on the quality settings.
Why do you prefer round balers? I like square. Easier to move..✌️
14:15 it could have happened because the price was 501 before, then it basically decreased to 500,9 (x10=5009)
Looks like the grass could still use a rolling
See you next week
Dagger win you should have gone for the new Holland and case baler it's 30k

I wonder if it counted the beets dumped from the front loader in the sale total.
Ino it maybe be expensive but do you have a goals to do any root crops this season ? I think it would be a good challenge
He literally did sugar beet to start off and only sold it this ep
The price for the sugar beet 500.1 pounds. The game just doesn’t show that negative number.
There is a cheaper bailer and trailer combo. Fahr APN I think.
Have u been checking the sales?
you had 10011 litres on the load dropping off at 17:20
You got more because of the sugar beet in your shovel.
Just found your playlist the other day, enjoying them quite well. What is that song your using in the time lapse on this one?

I would have thought with 10000 beet in the trailer and 2000 in the bucket you should have got £6000
The trailer can hold 8000 and 2000 in the bucket, 10000 total
Nice vid bro
Can the Fahr harvester use bigger header attachments, I think they could in Farming simulator 2013, but I'm not sure
ill buy a post card, and by the looks he had a couple empty spots sold
Did you remember that straw you had going into the grass on the far end?

Why don't you keep the current weight and add rear wheel weights?
30 grand only to produce 3 bales worth about 500 quid... A bit of a waste there...
