  • Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City MO has seen its share of frights on both sides of the park's grounds. In our first visit we discover the 2023 event to be full of surprises and among the best that the midwest and Cedar Fair amusement parks has to offer.

WOF should allow filming in the mazes. Knott's does.

Do not ride Prowler without light. We can confirm that ribs can definitely break on that one when you cant see ahead.

Hi I’m the outlaw that kept attacking you, I just wanted to say I love the video! Made me happy to come across this and see how much I’ve personally grown since I first started, and reminisce on all the good times I had at the park :) glad you had a fantastic time at the worlds of fun haunt and maybe I’ll see you next year! XD

I love spinning dragon so much! but can you talk about that fog and how bad that stuff smells? like I almost gagged from being in golfed in the cloud of it when I was walking through the park-and also, can we talk about the show but they have every year? It’s so fun. If any of you guys know what the songs names are of all of the songs that they use in the show , please tell me!

Nice review. Worlds of Fun is a nice park. I think it's sort of ignored because it's in Kansas City and for some reason Kansas City in general is just not a city people know about. I have been to many parks around the country and WoF could be a top park in the country with just a few more major rides. It's really sad they have removed as many rides as they have added over the years. They remove too many rides there and so the park never actually gets bigger.

Really agree on a first visit - even with its shortcomings I really do look forward to visiting WOF again soon!

WOF needs a complete overhaul, and Cedar Fair needs to take it more seriously.
WOF NEEDS dark rides and indoor attracrions/ eateries. WOF is one of those parks with loads of potential, but it's aggravating to see how it's run. The bathrooms alone are a major issue that could be easily fixed.

Are scare zones and haunted houses the same or different? If so what’s the difference? Just curious

There are people out there whom I am sure can put it better but here goes:
Scare zones: located on park pathways and available to all (no lines), themed areas with actors roaming about.
Haunted houses: Sometimes have an admission charge, limited entry to a few people at a time, lines to get in, more immersive theming, more intense!
