I’m 6’3 and 160 soaking wet so my neck is always hanging out there. There is so many valuable lessons on where how to move your head to stay safe in this one video. I’ll likely watch this like 20 times to pick it all up. Thanks again coach!
I've seen a lot of ways to get into a crucifix, and I've seen a lot of ways to finish from a crucifix, but I've never seen a way to destroy somebody else's ego from the crucifix just like this. 🤣👍🏼🏆 You're the 🐐, coach.
As always great content, thank you a lot. And please, please make whole new serie about the crucifix. Old one is really good, would even say its better than lot of payed instructionals. So new one where you could talk also for example Baret Yoshida style along yours would be absolutly awesome!!! :)
I was just thinking that Julia Hart's finishing hold "Heartless" is a variation of the crucifix with bottom leg control and she then traps the other arm with her body, underhooks it and then bridges.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the crucifix seems like a very solid position… I’ve been grappling for 7 years, and I haven’t worked on it much, but this might be my next offensive position to work on. I’ll check out your series on the position
Crucifix is a great position, especially in MMA. You can strike your opponent indefinitely and they can't do much about it. Absolutely terrible situation to find yourself in.
Years later…. And I still owe you a crackdown video. 😂 We can still shoot Hi-C’s but we just need to know the angles. There are times when we have to abandon.
Man, who knew Adam Sandler was such an awesome Jiu-jitsu instructor too!!? Talented guy. Love your videos!!
i have that same thought every time i watch his videos. the price is wrong, Bob!
Master teacher!
Gawwwdamn, BP! You are a wizard. Honestly, you are like a grappling encyclopedia. Thank you! Ossss.
Brian Peterson one of the most technical coaches, thank you for these.

I'm a regular joke, in need of a good crucifix! My prayers were answered! Thanks Coach, my training partners already hate you so much 😂
Can you give the link of the original video of the person who said HELP?
Hey Brian, great video, how long have you been grappling ?
30 years
One day well all be helpless, Time is undefeated
Showing that belly down crusifix. Is that something you could, or would it be worth persuing, from side control/kesa getame?
It absolutely is.
lmao love the intro
That hat though 😂
So I assume you wouldn't normally shoot the HI-C in mma to avoid putting your arm in danger. Is the double the most common shot in mma?

@@TeachMeGrappling It's all good coach. We know how to crackdown lol. My kid wrestles DIII now. You keep up the awesome work.

As a Catholic, I can confirm a crucifix works really well.
i still want to know the context of the original video. who gets in a fight, ends up in the crucifix, then yells for help?
A lot more people than you think.
@@Jay-ho9io maybe you just live in a more exciting part of the world than i do.
@@adamwood87 I'm a librarian. We go hard when you don't return books. 🤷🏽♂️
