I am a solo grandmother from Australia. Stayed in napoli for 1 week, cheap hotel near the station. Walked everywhere and never felt unsafe. Love the bold energy.
Really enjoyed your video! It was very informative and fun! I saved it to refer to when I visit Napoli soon. My Mom never got to see her homeland as a first generation Canadian but would raise her fist and say “I’m Napolitan!” I love the history of Naples!” Grazie Mille!!
Just happened to come across your videos. My 2nd one so far. Some of my family from Naples. I have 70+ year old photos of my great Aunt's home. I recognized the park. Thank you so much for your streaming. So Grateful to God for you! Blessings from NYC
Oh my God.... Naples, the crazy city in Europe.... I love Naples ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕 💘 ❤ 😍...... food ♥ 😋, people, beautiful panorama, 3000 years of history, football ⚽️ team, I passed 8 years of my life like universitary student in Naples.....in Naples have 9 university with a lot of students....unforgettable and printed in my heart ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤ 💙
I’ll be there in Naples, Almafi in end of October, traveling by myself I thought i would skip Naples to go straight to Almafi but after watching your video, I would like to spend 2 days to wonder around all these places that you mentioned on your video. That made me want to discover this city, Grazie and Arriverderci
Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing your adventures! I feel more confident going to Italy after watching them and now have some great ideas for places to go on a budget. Thanks guys ☺️
Too bad I didn't see this. I was allowed to revisit Pompeii, and visit Herculaneum after my parents saw this.... I also saw Caserta.... The Naples Museum..... And many other ancient sites.. My absolute favorite was visiting Vesuvius as a 5th grade child. The buses went up halfway and the students went up the rest of the way. We we were able to feel heat where the guide told us. It was the best ever!
Always heard Naples was very dangerous so we never visited. After this video, it looks like a must see. I think this year we may spend a couple of days there. Thanks again.
Great video! I have prepared our trip to Naples and was watching videos to make sure I would not miss things. I've added a couple thanks to you, Pulcinella and the street with little Christmas statues. All other videos I have seen were really poorly informative, yours is hands on the best. There is just a couple of comments I found were not accurate (general culture) about dryers in Italy (yes they have them, but these either are useless - an ecological damage too - or expensive for many - Spanish Quarters isn't exactly a place where all can afford it) or hard to find place for in tiny apartments like that area, or hard to get upstairs...) and naming the Chinese for tripes (many other places in Europe cook tripes). But those are details. So glad I watched this video because the other 15 before were an absolute waste of time. Thanks 🙏
WOW Guys! It was so cool to walk with you!!! We start our trip in Naples 30/07 Now after watching I understand how little time we took for this amazing city: only 3.5 days. It will be hot. But no matter! We will arm ourselves with your info and visit what we have time for. Subscribe and like🤩🥰
Thanks again for all of the help you guys are offering. Next july2023, me and my girlfriend Rhonda will come to Naples. Do you recommend for us to stay in Naples or sorrento to explore the amalfi coast. We will be not on a budget but not free spending. I can't wait to see southern Italy.
Be aware that in July Almafi Coast will be very crowded, perhaps stay in Naples and take the ferry to Capri and other islands. I was recommended by some people to avoid the crowd in Sorrento visiting Almafi
Hi Rick and Andrea, quick question. I'm going to Rome and Naples next week and I would like to buy shoes since Italian shoes are one of the best. Where can I go? Also, clothing,. Thank you in advance!.
Hello Danielle I will write an article on our website with all the names and I’ll put the link in the description! And yes that pizza was probably the best one I’ve ever had 🤩🤩🤩
We usually like to stay at the Royal Continental right on the Lungomare but when we recorded the video we stayed at the Relais San Severo right in the historic city center
Your videos are great. We hear about the green pass and the super green pass in the news. This scares off American tourists right now, I think. How have you been impacted?
Hello Leonard thank you for your comment. We were not effected at all but we have a super green pass. For American tourists the vaccination certificate is considered super green pass so no problems at all. Also if the cases continues to go down the government might remove all the restrictions.

@@RickOrford thank you so much. I didn’t know that it was based on commission. It’s amazing all the information I’ve gathered for my trip in June to Italy. There’s tons of information out there.
We rode through port area several years ago, and a lot of 'shanti town' structures, semi homeless people etc. Me Dad always said 'Desperate people do desperate things'. Could that be some reason for the less than stellar reputation of 'danger' in Naples? Lots of graffiti too we saw which suggest, well, less than lawful behavior at least; youthful anti-authority? We're visiting again in a few months, so info appreciated. Love your videos though! Very helpful.

Do we need to purchase Funicolare Tickets in advance or as we arrive?
Hello there, no you can buy the tickets when you are at the station
Napoli is a beautiful city. Only problem I hate are the graffiti. The new metro station in Chiaia is out of this world 😮 looks like a museum
When you have time, would you please make show notes with the names of the streets to see in each neighborhood?
Thanks, and the Pizza looked deliouis!

What is a good starting point to walk Spaccanapoli? A landmark, cafe, etc? Thank you!
Just the corner with Via Toledo and you can walk all the way to San Gregorio
Thanks guys. Where are the best budget hotels to stay at? (Safe, quiet and clean)
Our favorite area is the lungomare, it is not the quietest but it is the most beautiful for sure

Where should a tourist go for the best exchange rate when traveling in Italy.?
I usually find withdrawals from the ATM in Europe is best!
@@RickOrford oh OK I’ll make sure I bring my debit card. Is there usually a pretty good size fee at the ATM to use a different bank’s debit card to do this with?
@@Mindy-s-channel it depends on the bank- but surely it’s better than the commissions from money changers!

Try to avoid some of the ATM as they will charge you a fee, plus it would be safer to go inside the bank in person
