On a beach in Pulsano ( Spiaggia di Montedarena), province of Taranto - fine sand and crystal water

Away from the popular places to see and stay in the Puglia region, we settled on a more remote location and we don't regret it!
Spiaggia di Montedarena beach is located in the province of Taranto, close to the city of Pulsano. We were there at the end of the month and from an empty and deserted beach, we saw it transform into something completely different.
The beach is nice with fine sand and crystal clear water. There is also a free zone and a lido (paid zone).
Since we were at the very beginning of the season and after 5 p.m., we did not pay for an umbrella and sunbed. The lido is open until 19:00 and after that, you are politely asked to move to the free zone.
If this area appeals to you, we highly recommend staying at the Salento Sunset House, which is a few minutes from the beach.
