- RBB sold 84,092 copies.
That’s cuz sm stans dont tend to obsessively stream MV like other fandoms, other groups may have more view but that’s not an accurately portrayal cuz it’s a lot of the same people just replaying. I personally don’t like streaming at all cuz I feel it ruins the song and comeback experience, makes it less personal and enjoyable. Omg sorry bout my rant

I think they based it more off the video itself rather than a heavier emphasis on the song. I mean if it's about the way they shot the video this song really does do some super interesting things like mix old recording styles with the new technology in such a way where it tells the story of a super hot day (very much hit the season since August in Korea was rly high temp).
Fun fact: there's no banana in the music video not even 1 lmao

RV is a group that never needed ifans tbh.... their core fanbase is massively korean girls and japanese girls. So loving or hating is not like westerns affect their success that much.
Well, I think RV played the role as concept queen so well. I mean ifans tend to ignore upbeat songs from RV except DD, RR and RF.. Don't forget that some ifans actually looked down on Rookie real bad.. BB is ifans' favorite while PU is kfans' favorite so RV have the advantage of able to appeal to both audiences.. Isn't it the purpose and impact for having dual concept anyway.. RBB is such a special case where it failed to appeal to both kfans and ifans, but mad respect for SM and the girls for having such a bold attempt to release RBB as the title track.. The thing is, with RBB, they upgraded their level of synchronization for their choreo, they flaunted their vocal abilities, and their visuals are so amazing during RBB's era.. So, I take that as a win for RBB already..

Bananas are rich in potassium and are commonly consumed for powering up when exercising. I thought that was common knowledge?
There is also a common Korean pun using banana as the noun banana sounds almost exactly like the verb for fall for me. I'd have to see the hangup lyrics, but it is possible they are using the verb rather than the noun as in you will fall for me.
Bananas help you not get cramps, and most people consume them after work outs. As for powering up, that would be pre work out. Not a good idea to be eating something, when you're about to working out.

Redvelvet is my favorite gg..rv is literally one of the most versatile kpop groups i've ever heard.. they have ballads, slower r&b songs, edm, anime openings, future bass etc.. I just love their versatility
