Thanks for the review Kody. I was debating on buying the typha jacket but I decided to go with a different brand because of two reasons.. I was looking for a jacket that was insulated because I’m moving from NorCal to Nebraska so I’ll actually need a jacket now that I won’t be duck hunting in t-shirt weather anymore. And the $500 price tag for an outer shell was a little steep in my opinion. Good luck this season, 93 more days until the opener
Sorry I'm late, YT forgot to send me a notification...grrr. I duck hunt on Florida lakes, especially Okeechobee, but I'm loving the gear breakdowns. I'd love to see a calling segment, and then match it to some infield sequences to show the outcome, kinda like Elk Week calling with shot followup. Love what ya'll are doing, I'd appreciate a southern trip or two, because I'll probably never hunt Dakotas, or the like. Love ya'll ❤️
@@RayFinkle05 I live here, but have property in several states to hunt, Wisconsin being one of them. I did see ice on Okeechobee one time though, it was scary..lol
@@russellwatters5891 Off the rack cabelas waterproof gear will suit ya. This shit is made for guys that are hunting everyday of a 100 day season in the north.

I appreciate the fact they're able to hunt more than I, I dream alot, blame it on my age. Thanks for the input though, but Cabelas doesn't sponsor these guys, their gear reviewed does

I’m wondering what the origin hoody is like. We hunt the central flyway so it’s a lot more dry field hunting when you aren’t wearing waders.
Hows the rain proof quality? Does it compare to dryness of the Omen?
First Lite warranty is a joke because I don’t have that kind of money so I wait for a sale and once you buy it it’s yours even if it doesn’t fit
