Thanks for the video man, the differences in audio quality is day and night, even if it’s a native atmos movie it still sounds so much better streaming it on the xbox the best thing is I got the Xbox before the home theatre system so it all fit so well together I get the most out of it

Very nice video, step by step information. I have a question. Do you also experience problems with some dts movie content? Specifically dts-hd master 5.1 or 7.1. Is shows a maximum bitrate of 1.5 mbps on plex playback information while the content has a much higher bitrate. It's only on some dts hd content, other dts hd content does work without issue. True hd atmos always works without issue. Did you encounter also such problem?

Absolutely! I don’t get the hate people have for Xbox as a Plex client. It does handle a ton of lossless audio.
I’ve always had Passthrough toggled ON but I’ll have to try it off, sounds fun.

It can but it depends on whether the app supports it. The plex app can play at 24.

what im interested in is not Sound , Stereo is fine for me , much clearer then Atmos , dont know why you call it that , its just Surround sound , the clearest sound comes from 1 speaker , the more speakers you have the more convoluted it gets , that is why you cant hear much of a difrence between real Surround and simulated one , its not clear . That i why i dont care about it , what i care about is how it plays video . How it upscales , does it do a good job with converting 24hz Movies to 60hz , how smooth is the video . Does it improve the video in any way or it Netflix looks the same like on any other TV . Because i know Software exists to make picture better , i use Flow Frames that uses GPU to convert 24fps to 50fps by generating missing frames , it takes some power to do this , but X box has GPU , now the question is , does it use it to improve your video . If it does , there is no question for TVs that have less then stellar CPUs , adding good GPU and CPU from X box to it will make a loads of difference , but if it uses the hardware , i dont have it so im asking . I have 65inches Philips TV , it doesn't have that good CPU , its slow , tho it does upscaling good , not the best but good . Question is will X box do it better . Everyone is concerned about Sound but i dont care about it , i care about Video .

@@CameronKiesser no ur not right proteus has the least and can have none when the settings are right and that's not a opinion thats fact like all of this breakdown down below is
I first read that gaia is the best but its not it only works good for hd but cant be used all the time cause will sometimes be to sharp or give a plastic type look
so the vids I did do I did use gaia but couldn't with all cause of that problem I told you that happens but with the art model they come out sharp not as sharp as gaia but less artifacts or that weird plastic look the thing with the art is it works best set on low but for some vids it gives the eyes a weird looking bugged look or like they have a water effect around them
so when some vids have that weird effect on low u have to use medium art but then that causes artifacts so then the only other choice is theia but it's not that sharp as art but it fixes that weird art problem
even the some vids that have that weird effect around the eyes the whole vid looks way better then orginal but even theia looks way better still then the orginal even if theia is not sharp as art
proteus can be used on any resolution if using a vid where it looks weird using the art model on low or medium use pro instead and adjust settings
if still want a sharp vid when using proteus I usually use these setting I set to auto and put noise to 20 and compression on 20
gaia high shouldn't be used usually sense it will cause over sharpness or a permanent grain it only can be used on certain types of bitrates like 5000-up but it depends on the video quality inserted if the vid is real good quality already i cant use gaia much cause most stuff downloaded is not that high of a bitrate even 5000 is rare for most videos
Artemis high can usually work on bitrates ranges 4000-and up but it is times where it can be used with a vid that is 2000bitrate but its rare
and look real good if the video is good looking quality i use art for this reason more then gaia cause gaia like i said can be to sharp
This is from last year which I posted on red and other channels and people have tried everything I said and have said for a fact that is like I said so your trolling the wrong person lying you either have bad vision or are trolling like I said
I have done monster the cartoon and home movies another underrated cartoon and it is no artifacts you liar so stop
I am a vet to the program and have the most experience with it in a short time cause of the amount of vids I have done
Im a upscaler as a hobby im the only one who has it planned to do mutiple shows that never got the hd treatment
Most people know not to use gaia hd with low quality cause of the artifacts and the weird movements of the mouth like I said uptop
Its no way to not notice that stuff cause its easy to tell you have had vision
gaia is the one they used to to so called upgrade linux first vid did you see that months ago people in comments still say how bad it looks cause of the artifacts
i would have told them use proteus it's not as sharp but look at it not having artifacts I wouldn't have let them put out that trash ver
your the same way as those people who let that linus vid be rendered the way it was
you people are so happy about upgrading stuff that you dont take the time to learn the program or just use what I said it applies still and will forever apply
