    Hi Nico, Some great finds as always. You really have a great collection of originals and obscure reissues. These desperate isolation times do funny things and after years of just watching, I've actually taken the plunge and posted some videos myself if you're interested. I even have one original psych grail within (although it doesn't match-up to some of your finds)! Cheers Dale

      Hi Dale and thanks for watching! I'm glad to hear you have started making videos. I have a few days off now and will be heading over to your channelto watch your videos. I'll be looking for that psych grail. Take care!

    After 1 second hearing the music on your video i knew you had playing first song of Cornucopia "Full horn" record... one of the best krautrock records ever made wich I own since it came out back in 1973 !!

    • @NicoMalcolm
      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Wow! An original Cornucopia! That's high one my grail list for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. Take care!

      Hi Nico, you have a great viny collection and the Cornucopia record is among others one of my favorite krautrock records. Today I listened 2 records from Samla Mammas Manna band. They played serious good music. Do you know them?

    Hi Nico. Great to hear from you again. Always waiting impatiently for your videos. Many great stuff as usual, some I had on my want list and some I immediately added. Will try to find a copy of Cornucopia, sounds fantastic and prof. Wolfff as you seemed so excited about. Take care my friend. Olivier

    • @NicoMalcolm
      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Hi Olivier and thanks for stopping by! I know it's been a while since my last update, but time flies. I haven't been able to watch any VC-videos either. I have a lot of catching up to do. Definitely track that Cornucopia down! The first side is killer. The second side is good as well, but not in the same league as the first side. Also check out Prof Wolfff. Great stuff. Take care my friend.

      Hi Noisy! Yeah, Writing On The Wall sure is in my top 10 finds so far this years. I had to pay up, but then again, you never find it in this condition. Thanks for watching and take care!

      @@NicoMalcolm You don't acquire Grails for nothing Nico. Either you pay up, trade 'half' of your collection or spend a crazy amount of your life in record shops, charity shops etc looking through crap for the one that somehow manages to slip through....and time is money in my world. I picked up a minty copy of July last month. Like you I paid up.

    • @NicoMalcolm

      NoisyG Amen Noisy! Sometimes we have to pay up an never look back 😊Wow! An original July? Now we’re talking HOLY GRAILS for real! Congrats buddy!

      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Hi Wizard! Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, Second Life is a great album. Do check out Tiger B. Smith as well (the same band). A bit more glammy, but still heavy on the prog. Their second, or third(?) album, We're The Tiger Bunch, has it's moments, but it's not in the same league IMO. Take care!

      Hey Azmi! Thanks for watching and commenting. Prof Wolfff is definitely one to check out if you don't mind the lyrics being sung in German. I love it! There's a nice Second Battle reissue on the market as well, if you don't want to shell out big bucks for an original. Take care!

    Damn! You did it again! Welcome back Nico! Absolut crazy originals.
    I didn't know you like italian prog too. Osanna is great. My favourite prog album from Italy is Biglietto per Linferno.

      @NicoMalcolm  4 года назад +1

      Hi Cris and thanks for watching! Oh definitely, there's quite a few Italian monster prog albums. Osanna ranks high, but my favourite (right now anyway) is Museo Rosenbach - Zarathustra. Man, what an album! On my grail list of Italian monster prog is Il Balletto Di Bronzo's both albums. Thanks for the tip on Biglietto Per Inferno. I will check them out. Take care and be safe!

      Thanks for the tip. Museo Rosenbach sounds very interesting. I have the luck to understand the lyrics, so you can see what great writers the guys were back then.
      There are also some unreleased records which are really good. One of them is "Spettri - Spettri" from 1972. What a beautiful thing. Black Widow released ist 2011 on vinyl.
      If not known, here the album on RUclips:

    Wasn't the original Cornacopia released on Brain? Would love to have an original copy of Apple's 'An Apple a Day'. What a gem. I cannot believe all of the amazing reissues that you are showing. Man. Are subscribing to a 'Killer Reissues of Killer Gems' website? I have checked out some of the FTB originals for 'Make Up'. I almost pulled the trigger a few times. But I rethought it and talked myself out of it. I hate when I do that. But I can never justify spending two or three hundred on one album. Randy will be stoked to see that you grabbed an original Sweet Pain. His collection is mind blowing at times just like yours. Beautiful Patto V Swirl. Just like I was just saying. You have a mind blowing collection. {smile} I may sound a bit trite saying it but Vertigo Swirls are the best. What album is it that you showed at the 17:00 mark? Did you say Professor Wolf? Wow. I feel like I just went to the weekend record show in Philly. You showed some fantastic records Niko. 10 out of 10. Thanks for sharing them all. Pure record collecting joy~

      Hey Rob! Thanks for always checking in and commenting. I don't know how you do it :-) I'm way behind on VC-update since almost two months. I know what you means, reasoning and rethinking before buying expensive originals, but then again, I always end up buying it after a while. Yeah, I showed an original of Prof Wolfff on Metronome Records. Do check it out. Heavy prog at times + a bit of folk thrown in here and there for good measure. One of my recent German favourites. Take care my friend and stay safe and healthy!
