I tho k this looks cool as you're applying the paint. Glad you had nice visit with your sister! I'm looking forward to visit with my sister who I haven't seen in Years!
Gilly, when you said that the one piece resembled an Indian headdress, I was thinking the same thing! Gorgeous piece! Love the trivet, as well. I hope you will take photos of the 'skin' piece because it would be a shame to lose the beauty in it. Cheers!
Gilly these colours are absolutely beautiful together. You made silk out of a sow's ear. That used canvas deserved to be all dressed up. Oh what fun you bring to my fluid art journey, so glad I found your channel. thank you
I just want to tell you how much you have inspired me over the past couple of years. You kept saying give it a try and it is your art room and your way. I got the courage to try and I have never looked back. I am addicted to fluid art now. You know what I love about you? You are real. I still watch every day to see what you are going to do. I started my own channel a couple of months ago and I am loving every minute of it but I want you to know that it was YOU that inspired me to go for it. Just saying thank you! Your inspiration has been a blessing to me.
This turned out wonderful, Gilly! The colours are gorgeous! Even though you said you can't sell it, it's still lovely enough to be gifted for sure! I love all your family comings and goings, such a beautiful family buzz. This is what we are hoping to have by moving to Queensland, I cant wait! See you tomorrow! 😀💜🙋♀️🥰🤗
That's very lovely. Such gorgeous colours. It reminds me of a birds wing. I have discovered that a pull up clthes drier makes a great drying rack especially for me as i don't have a studio to work in. I can now do extra paintings without worrying where i can put them xxxxxx
Loved that demo. The waist paint when it's dry and if it peals off could you not ay it on wet paint on a canvas. Would it not dry in to the wet paint. Keep up the great demonstration please. Watching you makes me happy
Had to laugh out loud at "because it's on a crappy canvas, it's going to turn out to be something really nice" Yaaa....been there, done that. I suppose, in that case, you could take a detail brush, or a little roller, and paint white over the back on the canvas and wood framing so that it looked better. I'm sure people will love it anyway!
You could have used it as a skin if it was on plastic. Don't worry about a Grotti canvas either if someone likes something and the price is right they'll buy it regardless wihat the back looks like. If it bothers you that much just paint it all white or black whatever covers.
Take good pictures of it, and turn it into notecards or prints of the artwork instead of the original! Price accordingly, as a somewhat INexpensive picture for decorating and voilà!
Awesome! Love the colors. The red is such a wonderful pop. Enjoy your time with Penny. Take care, love. xoxoxooxxoox 😘
