Acrylic pouring Medium: Fluid art
My Global “keep it simple” pouring medium used for my usual work is a mix of 70% pouring medium and 30% warm water add to paint until correct consistency required for your particular technique.
Link is for mixing acrylic paint with pouring medium for your fluid art creations
• NEW FANTASTIC PRODUCT ...
If your in the USA Elmer’s glue all works well (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed, not all paint brands go well with this pouring medium, so just test out.
paint brands mostly used are the Global impasto paints, Amsterdam paints, pebeo paints, also Mont marte studio acrylics, or pouring paints.
I Certainly explore different brands and mediums, it’s all part of the learning process.
No silicone or floetrol required if using Globalcolours KIS POURING MEDIUM
“Cell Activation”
Extra special cell and lace and bloom like creation is found with Amsterdam paints add Aussie floetrol until correct consistency required, then used in pour or used to swipe details, “Aussie slides” are easily created this method.
If I add silicone this is what I do.

Thank you! 😊
Beautiful 🤩 as usual Gilly! Have a great day 😊
Gilly thank you so much for these videos. I was suffering from depression and my therapist recommended trying art. I cannot draw a stick man so I kind of nixed that idea. I happened upon your video and your cheerful, uplifting spirit gave me the confidence to try acrylic pouring. I am doing much much better now. My therapist says I’m like a different person. Thanks again and may God bless you always.
Aww wow that’s awesome bob, onward and upward enjoy 😉
Pops are cool too.
Loved the original round and rectangular canvas!

I just love your color combos! You have a real gift. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas. Like Bob Ross said "it's not how to paint, it's what to paint" and you give us all so many fresh ideas. I'm grateful 😊
Thank you so much! So true 😊
Hi 👋 Gilly thank you for making the time to share your beautiful self with us as well 💕 your art brings joy and inspiration to many. Wow 🤩 these both turned out amazing 😻 the colours are the best 👍 love them 💕 and take care of you as well
You are so welcome 😊 thank you ☺️
You did great again! Hope your hubby gets well soon!❤️
Thank you so much!!
What fun you have, and joy to spare! Im caught up in my other "hobby" these days, watching some big trials here in the US, so i haven't been around. I'll be back in a bit! Much love to you and yours!
All good 😊
Those look like malachite! Good colors!
My goodness, those both turned out lovely! That Deep (Dark?) Sea is soooooo beautiful. Take care, sweetie. xoxoxoox 😘
❤😊😊😊
Fantastic pours, Gilly! I've got to try those colours for sure. I really love them! I hope you include yourself in making time for everyone. Love to both you and John, and say Hi to your sister! 😀❤️🙋♀️🥰🤗🌺
Thank you, I’m spread a bit thin at the moment, so much going on, hopefully soon things will calm 😅 when will you be moving up to queensland sue?
Amazing that you mentioned about sadness. I had a catastrophic injury to my spine that disabled me at 45. I just turned 50. Ive pretty much been isolated other than family. Long story short ive began to paint, more for the therapy. It really helps to take my mind off of the PTSD that i have. I also write but have had writers block for 6 plus months now. Thanks for sharing.
Beatiful colors❤
So clever, Gilly! Both paintings are stunning! Hope your husband is on the mend. You certainly have your hands full… make sure to take care of yourself, too!
Thank you so much!
Love them both ❤❤❤
Love them both, the are gorgeous Gilly ❤
Both gorgeous ❤
I love both paintings they are gorgeous Gilly 😍
The round painting is so stunning. I love it. I am going to try and do four for a house warming gift. Thanks for the idea. I pray your husband will have a speedy recovery. 🙏🏻 🤩💞🤩
Thank you so much 😊
That is so pretty. Love those colors
Thanks so much 😊
Happy Easter to you and your family. Continued prayers for you and John. God bless you both. Love the paintings !
Both pieces are very lively, Gilly. The displays at the end really show them off. Lots of movement in both. The kisses finished the florals on the round quite nicely, as did the swipes on the second piece. So much of the enjoyment of watching you create is in your running commentary. I look forward to your daily posts. Cheers!
Thank you so much! Appreciate 😊
Love it as always. Hope your husband is doing much better. Stay well and healthy.
I love them both to bits. I love those kisses! Great video
You are so kind thank you ☺️
Very nice Gilly! If you have enough power to put pressure on Global to convince them to export their paints in America, I mean North America, which means Canada as well! I love Global Colors and I ordered them from Australia….
Believe me I’m onto them to do just that 😅
I hope we can get them in South Africa too!! They look like really nice paints & pouring medium!!
I love your colour combos❤❤and free spirit - you need that with this wonderful art form... if you dont already have that inclination... this form of "art therapy" will find it for you - you are just forced to let go & see what happens. Its wonderful!! I cant draw stick figures either!! 😂😂😂❤❤
With all that's going on in your life Jilly your paintings are just getting better you are amazing best regards to John hopefully he will soon be back in talking with you while you paint xxx
Thank you 😊 certainly hope so 😅
It looked awesome before you swiped it. I saw a lizard in it ❤
Both are beautiful. Before you did the swipe,it sort of reminded me of an arial view of snowy mountains. I pray John is doing well. It's good to have a sister visiting. Thank you for also sharing your time with us as well.
Oh thank you! He’s doing ok thankfully 😅
@@gillykubeart Glad to hear he is ok.
Hope your hubby gets betters.
Thank you!
Great paintings! In USA and purchased 2 bottles of medium…shipping was $90! Hope the manufacturer can find a way to distribute. I am very careful with my Aussie Floetrol…only use it for swipes, but it is so much better than PPG’s USA formula. Thank you for your precious time you have shared, especially with your husband being in the hospital and your sister visiting. You and your husband are in my prayers. ❤Jeanne
Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 hopefully global will be sending to distributors in USA and Europe 😅
Wow..they are both gorgeous! We really need the pouring medium to come to Canada. (global paints)😁😘
I agree!! Hopefully soon 😊
You have any idea as to how much inspiration you have given me!!!
Awesome thank you 🙏
Best wishes with hubby!! Mine has similar problems, so understand what you are going through. "Sterkde" (Strength in Afrikaans) to you at this time ❤
Gilly, you never disappoint! First off, may I send words of faith for your husband and you, to overcome whatever he and you are going through. The first painting sure gave way to the second one, as you can create anything, out of just pure imagination. I love how you can take colors that seem to be completely "off the grid" of what you start with, and they compliment so beautifully! The second one seemed to actually surprise you, which always in turn, surprises us! Have a great day, know you are in our thoughts. Sending love your way 😉🙏
Thank you 🙏
So sorry to hear about your husband. Please know I am still praying for him. Trusting you are doing well.
Aww thank you so much ☺️ appreciate
Those both are beautiful 🥰 love em! So I'd love to ask. I used my 61$ a ltr bottle omg.. it's a lot n I don't want to waist my Aussie floetral. I did one today now I tried it on paper n cells came up. I was like yes I got it! Then I did a wood round swipe to make the tree in the middle it came out great but when I swiped gently like u all do, I got nothing not one cell but I still made a great painting! I was so disappointed. Do u have any idea what could have gone wrong? I want to do more paintings n I want so awesome swipes. But I'm nervous to waist that floetral. Can u give me any advice Gilly? Ty in advance for any help 🌺
You talking about using just floetrol with your paints? Are you trying to do the shelee bloom style?
@@gillykubeart just the floetral n paint yes. I'm not sure. Which method that u just mentioned. Am I missing van ingredients? Ty Gilly 🌺 🌸🌺
Is there any difference in the technique when you pour the paint down the side of the cup or just directly into the cup?
I'm no expert... but I think if you pour the paints into the center of your pour cup, it mixes the colors much more - which is a technique of its own. So, when poured down the side, the colors stay more separate as they flow onto the canvas. I THINK! 🤔
✌🤟
@@willashriver1356 TY for the explanation
Not in the U.K. yet always last.
Hope your husband is soon out of the hospital and doing well.
