Aha - it works with a computer too - that is awesome, my computer is starting to get old and will need to be replaced next year or so and the likelihood of finding one with a CD/DVD-player is just as small as finding a new car with one, so this device would benefit me in two ways at once, since a new car is also on the horizon - excellent!

I bought this same car player from Amazon. Every time I put an audio cd in to play, it says “no data” and the power and everything seems to be there. Can you please tell me what else I should try to do?
Just connected a mabile cd player to my car a skoda Koraq it plays but after a few seconds it goes mute and continues to do that,any ideas on how i can fix this.

That's cool. I'd probably just rip the CDs to MP3 and use a USB thumb drive in the car. But I suppose this is more convenient for you.

There is a device that fools the unit into thinking it's a mass storage device like a thumb drive.
