NBC (WNBC) commercial break (May 14, 1998) (60fps) [TBC Enhanced]

From an airing of Access Hollywood and Seinfeld - The Chronicle before the series finale. Sadly the break ends right before the series finale starts but there are already uploads of commercial breaks during the finale.
This was on the same cassette that had all the mathematics stuff if you're wondering.

4:05 - so this was taped off a Dish Network box?

Yeah, though I'm not the original recorder nor was the seller I got the cassette from. It's obvious the person who taped this had Dish Network, probably someone named "MARLOW". According to the seller on eBay, he said that this cassette was in a box of others where he got from someone, don't know if that person was the original recorder, who knows. It's all about the history that's recorded on the tape and the nostalgia behind it.

@@vhsnostalgiazone but the only way they could get local channels on Dish is by using an OTA antenna and simply running a coaxial cable (type:RG6U/RG11U/RG59U) through the antenna check of the receiver, or use an extra dish to receive Echo 3 and 4.

@@JHollowayNetwork I don't know what Dish Network was like in the 90s, just the 2000s. We were able to receive local channels with the 1000 dish back then. The 90s I'm sure was when DBS was new and transitioning from the old C-Band system. Obviously, WNBC here was recorded from a satellite broadcast, so "Marlow" probably had an additional satellite to receive WNBC via Sattelite.
This tape came from Mississippi but I don't know if the broadcast was recorded there. I also want to believe that this is a second-generation copy of what you're seeing since some of the text is hard to see.

@@vhsnostalgiazone Well, the Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act (SHVIA) didn't take effect until Fall 1999, so you had to use a TV antenna to receive local stations (unless you're with cable of course).

After the Series Finale of Seinfeld on Thursday May 14, 1998 on NBC it hasn’t been the same anymore.
