Ok. I've just discovered you...I love this! You are one of my new favourite singers! I like this song, how it speeds up to sound like a train, and then slows down at the end to show the train pulling into the station perhaps, or the workers becoming tired?
This is fantastic!! It has a great beat. You're awesome Colm- love every video- not only do they sound amazing, but the editing is next-level too. :) :)
Another absolute belter! I have to say, I really appreciate that you sing in your natural accent. I grew up doing musical theatre and being told that I had to homogenise my own Ayrshire accent to sound more "palatable" in my singing. Looking back, I actually find it quite shameful that I was taught to essentially change what's inherent to my voice because my teachers thought my accent wouldn't be easily understood. I'm still unlearning that shite tbh but now I love singing in my natural accent.
I need to try doing a cover of this someday, just nowhere near confident enough yet! Your voice is perfect for this song, and certainly helps distract myself from the storms outside. Listening to your singing and The Longest Johns always leads to some of my best art when I have them shuffled during my drawing sessions.

Good choice on the song well done I’m impressed I’m a Railroad enthusiast and collector
Brett
As a big fan of both TLJ and Colm, this is fantastic! Makes me think of the railroad crew scenes from the show, “Hell on Wheels.”
Your sea shanties and work songs are the only thing that keeps my newborn and 23m old from freaking out for car rides.
That percussion and accelerating tempo combination is fantastic
The railroad tracks are laid with the blood and sweat of thousands, both in the u.s. and canada
Wonderful artist, truly enjoy watching and hearing the diversity of songs.
No matter what you do, I'm always in awe. Not at just your vocal range, but the quality in which you put all of it together.
One of these days, I'd love to hear your take on The Chemical Worker's Song.
I have have been requesting this for a while
I’ve never heard that song before! Lovely!
You should do The Bards Song or Skalds and Shadows by Blind Guardian, would sound great! Also can’t wait for this video :)
+1 for The Bards Song !
Definitely... but at the same time challenging... BG Fans can be demanding, and they will surely speak out, if the cover falls short.
@@J-LucaR True, but Colm is pretty good at harmonizing.
or Curse My Name
I love the pacing... very exciting to hear (although I think it needs a whistle blowing at the end)
Ok. I've just discovered you...I love this! You are one of my new favourite singers! I like this song, how it speeds up to sound like a train, and then slows down at the end to show the train pulling into the station perhaps, or the workers becoming tired?
Not me using this for my steampunk DnD campaign where the guild hall for the players is a train, one of the first
Colm, your music started out great and it's continually improving! I've loved every minute of it! Keep up the amazing work!!!
This is fantastic!! It has a great beat. You're awesome Colm- love every video- not only do they sound amazing, but the editing is next-level too. :) :)
Love this mix of the triptych with the angled view .
Wow! I love it. I wish you would do a few more railroad songs, they are hard to find.
Love the original song by the longest Johns. Great job with the cover
Very great song
I need to try doing a cover of this someday, just nowhere near confident enough yet! Your voice is perfect for this song, and certainly helps distract myself from the storms outside. Listening to your singing and The Longest Johns always leads to some of my best art when I have them shuffled during my drawing sessions.
