11th and 12th class students are not provided with proper awarness regarding engineering branches as like MBBS students has. also the private college degraded the value of mother engineering branches (EEE, MECH, CIVIL) and made people engineering easy by spoonfeeding and placements in CSE. Hence there is no difference between B. Tech and B. Sc now a days in private colleges for core engineering branches. 1. No awarness and No realisation that in terms of difficulty MBBS = B. Tech. 2. 90% Private colleges traps you in the name of placements 3. Parents always force children to enter where there is an easy way, in their opinion B. Tech is easy to settle sooon where as MBBS takes time Who should tell them that except B. Tech CS/IT , core engineering branches is as difficult as MBBS: 1. Academics must be strong 2. Good GATE score 3. Strong final year project 4. Any research paper published 5. Internship Do you think these things are easy ???? but you wont do a single thing by joining core branches in private colleges. Instead you blame that branch and join CS/IT placements.

You can find examples of Dutch disease in India as well. States like Jharkhand and Chattisgarh have abundance of natural resources but due to corruption and miss management these states are still underdeveloped and poor.

Talking about Gulf countries, they do export other things other than oil and gas, so they have an economy in other things such as dried fish, dates etc. Another thing to note is that, the currencies of Gulf countries are pegged to the US dollar or basket of currencies (Kuwait).
