For example, if I want to talk there are a lot of restaurants in my city, in this case I should change to much or many? Since a restaurant is a uncontable I think much is right answer here, but if I want to talk from an specific restaurant li mc donalds and I want to say that open a new one in my city I also say A new mc donalds has been opened in the city, they have a lot of mc donalds now, in this case I also change to much or many?

Great question! “restaurant” is countable because you can count restaurants. For instance; “one restaurant, two restaurants” so you would need to use “many restaurants”. Likewise with specific restaurants you can use “many”. ☺️

“restaurants” will remain a countable noun regardless of whether it is a specific restaurant or not so “many” would be the correct word to use.
