I like the trade series idea!!!! I do think you should have a goal, or "end car". Something very special. Maybe a Buick Grand National? These things can be very high priced, but I know you can do it! Remember the guy who starred with a paper clip and ended with a very, very high end house? Set a goal, either way, and let's watch you accomplish it!
by the way, as long as the AN fitting (flared) doesn't bottom out in whatever you are installing it to, you can just pop an oring on there and it will work like an ORB fitting, obviously oring needs to be safe for e85 but i did this on my car on the regulator to get by until i ordered the right part.... or did i ever change it? idk lol either way good info for anyone messing with AN lines.
That’s is a good point that I didn’t think of. The other side of this specific issue tho, was that the pressure regulator had to rotate in order to tighten against the rail with the fitting that was originally on there. You are right tho, just an adding an o ring/crush washer would solve the sealing issue!
Would a bare long block work with a 04-05 AP2? I still have my f22c1 motor for the valve cover and throttle body.. they selling a built f20c1 and I'm tempted
S2000's are not straight line fast and aren't supposed to be. They've become similar to old 911's and old Corvettes. That's to say that if you want to get more money for yours, remove the turbo, put on a hood without a hole in it, get rid of the A pillar gauges and repaint the front bumper. All stock will bring the most money. There's and AP2 in my garage just increasing in value. It's 100% stock.
We had a debate just the other day about the comparison between a c5 z06 and an s2000. The pricing is very similar on them now and the performance on a road course has to be relatively close stock for stock too. Very interesting to think about two cars from the same era and how they match up! That being said, this car will never be worth returning to stock. With the accident history and salvage title. It will always be best to just beat the crap out of and have fun! Thanks for watching!
I have a nice low mile stock AP2 (Laguna Blue) and watching it climb in value the last 7 years has been interesting. Still they'd need to put out a lot for stock parts to get it back to factory configuration, but the title issues would make every deep pocketed collector snob turn their nose up at it. So you're right, but what's done is done for this S2K.
The only thing on this show that makes me cringe is when you all stand under a car using the fork lift. Hope it has a locking mechanism of some sort. If not, fellas I’ve seen hydraulics fail on heavy equipment, sometimes there’s no warning and within the blink of an eye it drops. Stay safe fellas, we enjoy you alls channel. 👍🏼✌🏼🇺🇸
Thank you guys for saving this one
We try to when we can! Some are destined for the crusher tho. This one gets to continue putting smiles on faces tho.
Not a fan of JDM’s but definitely a big fan of your Channel. Keep up the great content fellas. 👍🏼✌🏼🇺🇸
Thanks for watching!
Look forward to seeing the next instalment

The trade up idea is a fantastic thing to do see what you can get with each trade up ending up with something exotic like a Lamborghini or Ferrari
Hopefully it makes it that far!
@@scraplifegarage I'm sure it will and I'm sure there will be some amazing trades loving the vids here in England
I'm wondering how much is the s2000 going to be listed for????
Working on trading it before it will be listed for sale with a dollar amount on it
This is a cool idea! I know a guy out near Kingsville, dudes driveway is a gold mine, I'll get him to reach out to try and make a trade.
Just tell him no junk offers! Sounds like he might be a hoarder or something?
Big time hoarder, it's tough to see.

@@scraplifegarage owned both and the c5 z will outlap the s2k with ease for one lap, then every fluid in the vette is completely overheated
@@daylatedrift you are right. One lap and an endurance race are two different things lol
Don’t know much about those cars but why does it sound like a misfire/sputter at idle?
who makes the white hood with air intake on the right side?
love the import ones
We will see what we get to trade this for. Maybe more import content right around the corner!
Nice to see Alex finally got a haircut, even though it looks like he got the new girl at a sport clips.
She wasn’t even the new girl. They used him as a test for a job interview…she didn’t get hired.
@@scraplifedalt hahahahaha! He prob asked for the “Lloyd Christmas”
Yea I got my haircut at sport clips like you got your fenders painted at maaco.
I enjoy the video

I love convertible top and targa top cars but I’m afraid of road debris and rolling over
Hearing the engine idle makes me think: Does it run on every coil? Sounds like a Subaru at idle...
Turbo s2000 have a more Subaru sound to them. I guess maybe it has to do with the turbo manifold compared to the normal header?
price on the carbon hood?
Sorry @john reed it already sold
