Absolutely love my Daytona 675
Yami, Did you go to school for video production? You made a short movie here, lol well done 👌🏻
Wtf. Why the classical elevator music in the background?? Is that fur Elise.
I found a 2017 675r with 3500 miles, 10k at dealership, good price?
sheldon drewett if you can come up with a little extra I’d get the new 2020 street triple rs if I were you

i bought a street triple after yammie yammed on about how great the engine was, despite hating the bug eyes. bought a my'16 with the cable throttle, converted the lamps to a single, and love it more than my 2nd kid.
How did you do the conversion and how much did it cost?
So what's so special about your first kid?
@@jimmywhite4025 must be a "special" kid
😂I just pissed myself laughing
We have to boost his channel to 1M subs as fast as possible so he finally buys that turbo busa boyyyyy
He couldn't wait could he ...
Absolutely
Lets all make a bunch of accounts and sub to him

7 reasons Triumph should sponsor Yammie
So what's so special about your first kid?
My son put a deposit down on a new 765 Daytona. His influence? 15% he likes my Speed Twin, 85% Yammie Noob.
I have a speed triple that is the most glorious sounding motorcycle I have ever owned.
Just bought one yesterday, and it truly has exceeded expectation. But the sound of my Honda VTR 1000 V twin I'm selling (is the only thing that) blows it out of the water
I have an ‘06 Daytona 955i. It is by far the most fun motorcycle I have ever owned. The triple engine sound is so fantastic, and it’s the most comfortable sport bike I have owned (prior bike was an R6). Thanks for making this video Yammy! Love the channel!
Love the music. Good topic, well researched and well delivered
Love my 2018 street triple 765 rs, best bike I’ve ridden😁 thanks for the lesson on 3 cylinder engines it was awesome
Thank you Yammie, just so you know i got into bikes this year and you were the first person i found and still watch. I bought a brand new ninja 400 when you released the video (everything wrong with the ninja 400) because you told me not too. Then just a few weeks ago bought an 07 Daytona 675 because you told me too. since then my friend bought one and my roommate is currently looking for one. You provide fantastic entertainment and i must say your choice in bikes is awesome! i love my Daytona and feel is it perfect in every way!
I have the 2019 1200 xca and love it always loved the Triumph was going to get the speed triple rs but decided to try the mt 10 for awhile thanks for the video keep bringing them they are very entertaining and you just might learn something too
Owner of a 97’ t595. Love the bike. Very cool little history lesson! Thanks!
I want one of those so much. Right now and own a 10 speed triple.
The T150 and the later T160V had a split center exhaust too. As it left the center cylinder head it split into two and then both halves joined into the outer pipes (3-4-2 setup). This was done for clearance of the single downtube frame design.
My first ever 'real' motorcycle was a 1977 Triumph Bonneville T140V 750cc, bought it brand new straight off the showroom floor.
I own a 2011 Speed Triple. I've never been happier. It truly is a wonder.
Just purchased a used 2008 Speed Triple. I LOVE IT!!!!! THanks for all the info. Probably would have never known about this bike. All my friends ride Japanese sport bikes or Harleys 😒
I have an 06 Speed Triple. Best bike I’ve ever owned.
Years ago I had a 2009 Daytona 675 SE it's the only 'big bike' I've owned and I absolutely loved it,I used to commute to work on it everyday and never got bored of the soind.people always loved the way it looked too and it felt special.i got back on a bike last year after around 4-5 years off the road and am now saving for a street triple
I always listen to your videos at work, really hoping to get my first bike the beginning of next year 🙏🏼 600cc sounds nice right ? ;)
I just bought a used 2017 Triumph Tiger. It's definitely not my first motorcycle. However it is my first Triumph and first triple cylinder engine. This has to the best motorcycle I've owned. The engine is absolutely brilliant. A great balance of torque and when needed, it will give the upper end rush horsepower. It serves as my better alternative to my gas loving and my weekend fun toy. Thank you for sharing the history lesson 🙏😊
Bought my upgrade bike in early 2022 here in the Philippines... decided on the Triumph Street Triple because of your reviews.
I had a street triple for several years. It ended up being too much of a sport bike for my needs but god what a wonderful engine.
Sprint ST 955i!!! Best beginner bike!
I love my triple and won't replace it until I can afford a Rocket.
And just to throw it out there: the Speed Triple was born with the 885 and then got the 955i in 1997. The 1050 cane about in 2005 for the Sprint and Speed Triple ❤❤
Jumped on a street triple during a triumph test ride just to see what it was all about. It just feels so powerful and so light, nothing in the 650 category felt anything like it. It's like a 1000cc, till you get up to speed which is when you are reminded that it is not a litre bike IMO
Actually looking at Daytona’s because of you, keep it up yam!
2:43 greetings from Malaysia ! Haha
Yamaha MT09 lagi sedap, nikmat tak terhingga
I bought a 2007 triumph Daytona 675 as my second bike! It’s buttery smooth and absolutely rips it up! I love it!
Got a Triumph Street Triple R from 2014. The sound is nothing like other bikes with 4 or 2 cylinders man. It's the best
I had a T150V back in 1975. Loved it, I could beat Honda 750s, Suzuki 750s and any other Japanese in-line 4 basically because the handling of my bike was so much better than the Japanese models. The only downside was that it was bloody unreliable, but when it was holding together it was brilliant
My 2nd bike was/is a Street Triple RS, ngl that your Daytona slaying made me aware of the brand and their relevance in the street bike market, please don't kill any more
Finally managed to get a Tiger in the summer. 2nd hand, 8 years old, 40k miles. And while there have been one or two niggles, the engine has been flawless.
I've been on singles, twins and 4s, and the triple tops them all 😁😁
2018 Triumph Street Triple R 765 about a month ago. I love that thing.
I've had a Triumph 2003 America, fun bike easily customizable. Have my fathers 1974 bonnie, Chopped by him and horrifying to ride, and now I have my own 2013 Speed Triple. I loved riding all of them. The speedy is the funnest though.
I have a 2009 Triumph speed triple. Love it! It fact it’s my second speed triple. Had the 2007 while in the military and sold it. Regretted that decision so I bought another. About the only bike I’d rather have is maybe the Ducati monster 1200R
Great video! I just bought a Speed Triple 1200 RR.
Sold my 2015 675 street triple RX to get a 2018 765 street triple RS, also owned a 2003 Daytona 955i. All great bikes!
I ride an '02 Tiger 955i and I have to agree, that engine is special. It sounds ANGRY at idle. I like to joke that it doesn't idle, it "seethes"
Tripes are awesome!! I love my Speed Triple!
I've got a 2002 Speed Triple and it runs and sounds amazing.
First clip of a guy doing yoga , I thought it was Yammie :D
2009 Rocket III Touring. Amazing bike.
My dad used to have a 2007 speed triple 1050 best sounding bike ever
I love my Tracer 900 GT with the Akrapovic. The torque at any RPM is mind blowing.
Saw the factory on Friday in hinckley years back. Shame to see all that smoke
I have a Tiger 800 and absolutely love it. Triumph is rocking it!
2001-> Daytona 955i had 149bhp, so it had more power than previous models. I have 1999 955i in blue and love it.
Yammie definitely impacted in me getting a triumph sprint 1050
My first Triumph was a Daytona 900 in 1994 and now I own a Street Triple 765 RS - I loved the Daytona, which was for sure a sports tourer not an out and out sports bike, but the Street Triple is just amazing. Fast, nimble, powerful but also docile when you want it to be and always a blast to ride. I wish, I really wish, Triumph decide to make the Daytona 765 a full production bike not a limited edition, I would be in the market for one for sure! Spread the word Yammie! I am relying on you.
Even before I saw this video, I had a love/hate thing with Triumph/BSA/Norton bikes. I saw some of your other videos, many with your white Triumph and fell in love. So, from seeing these videos I looked up Triumph's website. I'm a returning biker from the early 70's. It was Bonnevilles, Sportsters and Hogs back then. There was however one unusual bike that everyone ran from. No, I'm not talking about Honda's 750-4. It was a small bike that ran like a bat out-a hell. It was the Kawasaki 500. A triple cylinder, two-cycle engine screamer. In Nashville, TN, there was this really overweight guy (estimated weight of 350 lbs.) on one of these things and still nobody wanted to race him( we all nicknamed him the marble on a razorblade). It smoked like the outside of it was on fire, but once it got rolling it was game over! Oh yeah, when the time and finances are right, I plan on purchasing either a 660 or a 765. Even right now, I can't make up my mind, but it's unlikely to be my other choice, a Honda CB650R.
my first bike kaw mach 3 500 ... not a good one to learn on 😅
on my 2nd speed trip now , lov em !!!
I still have my 2001 Sprint RS 955i. Has 56k on it and it still pulls like a horse!! I purchased a 2018 Street Triple R last year and it’s the best bike I’ve ever had. I am the choir, preach on brother!!
The Sprint RS was a very impressive bike, even by today's measures.
atrocious It’s been an amazing bike. Taken it from AZ to Colorado and AZ to Mexico countless times. I did replace the plastic tank, which was my only real complaint about it. Hope to have it another 18 years.
I find these bikes impressive, and beautiful. Triumph has achieved something great, in my opinion. Wait until you see the chrome series!
In the early '70s I sold bikes for a living [Suzukis, Triumphs, CZs & Moto Guzzis]. I've ridden stuff you never heard of [Puchs, Gurney Eagles, ATKs, Jawas....]. Hands down, the best motorcycle I ever rode was a '73 Triumph Trident! Triples rule.
Because 3 cylinders usually have the perfect balance of low RPM torque and high RPM horsepower. 😅
Also, the offset firing order of 3 cylinders sounds great!
My Rocket III with K&N intake filters, and Carpenter Racing S.S. exhaust, sounds so unique and awesome.😅
I've been told many times by friends riding behind me that it's loud as Hell, and the Coolest sounding bike they have ever heard.
I'm a BIG fan of 3 cylinder bikes.❤
Currently have a 2008 Tiger Sport 1050 w/ 30,000 miles. Plenty of power, but also plenty of electrical/ ignition issues. Owning a Triumph will make you learn electrical systems.
The first Speed Triple came out in 1994 with the 885cc engine and had carbs. In my opinion the best Speed Triple ever. This was followed by the 955i before the 1050 came out.
Canadian here, Daytona 675r 2009, Love it but hey kids in daycare so its parked at the moment. Can not wait to have cash to insure and play again.
I had a boring K75 C. It was an excellent all rounder and sounded gorgeous.
Just bought a Speed Triple and love it.
Mirage they’re the best bikes in the world
I have a 15 but want the new one. It's gonna be over 1100 ccs lol
Triumph Sprint ST 1050 ABS. Eats miles and still super flicky. Going to be hunting for one of the last Sprint GT 1050 soon to replace/join the ST.
Have one of the rarest daytona 675r , 42 of 47 danny eslick , the bikes are awesome . Didn't even know triumph had a sport bike till it was too late so I bought a used one .
This was a great video. I have so Many more questions now like How do you feel about odd number Cylinders and they're relationship with over vibration? Is it a Triumph thing? Shit i need to ride it now lol
I have an MT-09 ..847cc triple nice torque and smooth.
@@davidbarthel5664 It does have 3 engine modes, that actually does help, but you are not wrong.
3 cylinder best balanced setup, reliable, and best sound too
I just bought a new speed triple1200RS not long ago this model is complete different from predecessor this bike really tell us triumph are the best three cylinder manufacturer
Owned a Triumph Sprint 1050 ST a few years ago, used the same motor as the Speed Triple 1050, only slightly detuned for sport-touring. Nothing better for putting 600+ miles under your butt per day and then having fun in the twisty bits. Don't have it anymore (old man backbone doesn't like sport ergos), but still own a Triumph.
As for the referral, sorry Yam, I owned the bike before I found your channel. :P
I have a Triumph Street Triple A2 660cc, derestricted to 94 Bhp. It's awesome !
In my bike shed there is also a Triumph Speed Twin, which is also awesome, but in different ways.
I just need a Rocket 3 and a Tiger for my "summary" collection of Triumphs. For that to happen I need to win the lottery!
Sadly I found Papa Yam after I found my lovely Street Triple 765RS, and yes it is every wonderful thing everyone says about it. An unbelievable engine, telepathic handling, and super hero brakes.
i've got a 2012 Daytona 675 LOVE IT!!!!!!!
My 1987 BMW K75s also uses a three cylinder engine laying on its side..
2.3l triple in the Triumph Rocket III, absolute torque beast!!
Just as I get back from a ride on my daytona thinking what a lovely motor haha
The 955i is the greatest bike ever made! No one will ever change my mind! My bikes exhaust sounds like an angle having an orgasm!
Do u mean angel?
David Baker naw like a right angle lol
@@kramerguitars204 oh yeah, know what u mean now!😂😂
I own a 2010 speed triple,
The best sounding engine, 😍😍 besides the Ducati’s
I also own one of those. Just love it
Mines a 2009 and I can't get enough of it.
Same, soo nice
Street Triple for life! I blame Mission Impossible 2.
Th biggest reason why Triumph sticks with triples is that designing new engines from the ground up is expensive. Since triples are competitive with fours and twin, and only one other maker, Yamaha, is committed to performance triples, why change?
If triumph weren't so expensive I would get one for my first bike. That three-cylinder sound is 🤤. But the price point is tough to swing.
T595 sound is very unique; and EPIC.
I love your vids
I have a soft spot for the tiger triples, 885 and 955i…. Spectacular bikes!
The street triple 657rx is the best bike I have ever owned and ridden in over 20 years of riding
FACT: Papa Yam has a PhD in Triumph!
Great video, & yes - when I can I am buying me a Rocket 3! You are partially to blame. Great video!
Later generations of the 955i actually put out 147 horsepower .
Mine's a 2004 and way more character then anything I've driven.
I'm bias.
My favorite bike even though the riding position is almost identical to my r1. So not super comfortable for long rides but so enjoyable.
NIIIICE LOGO @4:36
Right then yammie: I think your dud on them firing every 240 degrees is a bit off. Triumph fires it's triple every 120 degrees and then maintains a complete rotation without firing which is what makes if different from the typical mt09 type treble.
Triples are sick, love my fz
Its just important that you have either one or a prime number count of cylinders cuz why not.
@2:37 They are cheaper to mass produce. That can be offset by econmies of scale, since you don't drive an engine.
I've got to experience some triple cylinders in my life, the sound alone mmmm
Welp looks like this Daytona is added to my dream bike with the F4 MV Augusta. Yammie sure does know how to sell something.
I’m pretty sure this channel is a big part of the reason I got a speed triple
I actually bought a used Daytona this morning cause of this video 😅
love my LegendTT
Bought an 05 rocket 3. With only 1291 miles on the odometer it looks like it came out of a time capsule. Unfortunately the fuel sustem needs to be completely rehabbed. Cant wait to get this torque monster on the street!
Subscribe or Die sounds pretty rough. Especially on a channel about motorcycles where our riding brothers really do face mortality a bit more often.
I have a 14 Speed triple R that I modified. Took 30 lbs of weight off her and added 20 h.p. what a screamer. Riding her is about as much fun as a guy can have with his close on. Ride on and get out of my way.😁
Triumph Street triple 2008 in roulette green with twin arrow cans = perfection 👌
Rocking a 99 955i.... love the shit out of it
Very nice, a classic boi!
Bought a speed triple rs brand new last year. 11k kms thus far and still going strong. Best daily commuter ever. For a litre class bike at least.
You honestly can't go wrong with any of the liter nakeds now! Although personally wouldn't get a monster
@@zackphelps3052 True. The electroni s really do help. And im still not comfotrable turning them all off.
i constantly have this nagging sensation to looking up videos of Speed/Street triples. i want one of them so bad but idk which would be best for me. im pretty set on the Speed being my next bike but the new Street RS looks so nice too...fuck
If you love 3 cylinders, try a Daytona 955i of all the bikes I've owned ZX11, XX, ZRX1200 w/ Muzzy kit.....this engine and it's induction HOWL is one of the best road going mills ...my hot rod Duc 999 was the most fun w/o a doubt w/it's L twin testastretta ...but bang for buck, easy maintenance, inexpensive 'AVAILABLE" LOL parts, superb road going sport bike...the Daytona is tough to beat..go +5 sprockets -1F, +4 R TOR exhaust, Tune ECU 101081 No SAI..map and it's become surprisingly quick..super cheap to insure...mines $101 a year....unbeatable ...Hope Noobs reviews one some day ..
