Man you got some killer work ethic, that gear def doesn’t fall from the sky. Good on you man . Seeing all that gear I’m like home owners insurance, make sure it’s on your policy.
Holy Bejeezus, Kyle! Look at all the GEAR you have!! Rooms upon rooms of it! Incredible! And thank you SO MUCH for all the tips and info on content creation. It's a TON of work, obviously, and you do a GREAT job at it. Maybe one day I'll get myself an interface and the other necessary gear to make some videos. And YES, Kyle, I for one would be EXTREMELY APPRECIATIVE if you made a tutorial for us! Keep up the great work, Kyle, and thank you again! Have a great week, bud!
Yeah dude that's just a rad setup! You've also made it a point to show what can be done with free stuff & low cost gear to create high quality content. Your amps & guitar gear...just killer! *EDIT* Oh & YES please do make a video video on how do a killer cell phone type video.
This is awesome! Pretty cool to see the Sigma prime lenses still hang with the rest of that outrageously outrageous camera set up. I just hope I have the strength to not start looking at full frame Sonys

I'm not sure if you know about this trick or not, but you can grab the audio from reaper and send it to OBS automatically if you use rearoute and the OBS Asio plugin. That way you don't have to import the audio in post editing and just get it done in one go.

I've got the gear. Not quite as much as you, but enough. I can get the lighting and cameras. I have some decent ideas. But I have absolutely no drive for editing at all...
The sonys are amazing in low light dark light videos ... and in a miroless camera get some cheap japanese lens from the analogic days and a adptor ... you will be shocked ... you will not get autofocus tho
Kyle man, I learned so much from your video here, thank you! Have been following you for a little while now because I too am an amp and guitar junkie (I have no where near the number of amps you do, but aspire to lol). I have always aspired to create a channel really as a hobby and share content like you are doing today. I totally look up to you dude and just want to say thank you for sharing your gear and your feedback on realistically all that is needed to get started. Would love to see a video of your advice on how to make a great youtube video, that would be so awesome! Here is what I have thus far for setup (and growing) - - 2019 MacBook Pro 16", 2TB - 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 Processor, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Memory - Universal Audio Apollo Twin X - interface - 2 - Yamaha HS9 monitors with subwoofer - Shure SM57 and PG48 mics with cab and standup mic stands - Iphone 13pro max - Gorilla pod compact tripod - A larger tripod like the one you have for your main camera - My girlfriend has a Nikon D700 that uses a compact flash-card she used to use for wedding photography - - Nikon Z-Core 24-70mm 2.8 AF Lens - Ring light for iphone Things I don't have yet which sound essential - A good video editing software - Have been looking at final cut pro, however I know nothing about the market of video editing software and unsure if Final Cut is worth it for the price for what I want to do. Would really like to have something quality with ability to add effects, subtitles and offers non copyrighted background music. Lighting - I have 1 ring light lol, and some good natural light in my office - also have a basement studio where my big amps/pedals and drumset are. My "rig" desk with monitors, macbook, computer monitors and Apollo twin x and all my guitars are in my office two floors up. Any advice you have for me I would be so grateful. Thanks so much for all you do man and for being so cool in offering your knowledge and advice. No expectations, just throwing this out there. Rock on brother and keep up the great work, it is showing! 🔥🤘🏻🍻
Hell yea man! Great video! I have always wondered what you used. I'm pondering starting a channel but not sure yet with the full time job and life.. Keep it up brotha!
Hey Kyle, quick question - when you are recording your voice through the lavalier mic and plugging straight into your phone are you recording via voice memo or some other app or capturing audio through video on your phone?
I have a nearly identical (and slightly cheaper) camera and light setup and it's great! The Sigma 16mm is killer. The owner of the studio I work for also loves those JBL monitors, and he has some really expensive serious monitors too, but he loves the translation of those little JBL's.

Thanks for posting this. I am preparing to start my channel and wasn't sure if I had all of the basics covered yet... Turns out I almost do, once I get another light or 2 and another camera to do mutiple shots. What would be really interesting to see is how you actually do a video from start to finish to include the editing part. Say, like a 20 second multicam demo video, and how you go about time aligning and piecing together the whole thing from start to finish. I know that something like that done by someone who has a VERY similar setup would be hugely helpful as I have had reaper for years, GREAT audio, 1 seemingly decent video (1080P Panasonic DMC-fz series camera) thinking about the new, M2 Ipad pro as a second camera that also does some editing as well... 2 birds, one stone kinda thing. 1080p@60fps is fine for me and bandwidth friendly anyway, so I think that would be an excellent starting point that I can build on over time if people are into what I put out I am also a fan of JBLs as well. JBL's are all anyone really needs. I have had the 2328Ps and sub for nearly 10 years and they still sound fantastic to mix through... They also translate pretty well onto my stereo system which consist of jbl studio 5 series towers/sub and even my car's audio system. I also saw a vert mode Avatar 2x12, which I also have with the Oxblood cloth. My favorite cab for sure.....That will probably be one of my first vids and IR captures I do with my dynamount and I have a shit ton of great, but oddball mics to build a library with. Keep it up. Always enjoy what you do........

I’ve been thinking of actually making my own RUclips channel with my current page but it’s a bit overwhelming and I’m not sure where to even start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Love your channel dude.

Such a neat little Realm.

Hey man, this video was great! I been learning for the last couple years how to work all the software. I would love to see a tutorial!!
I'd be interested in seeing a video about making youtube vids with a cell phone/simple interface. Thanks!
