      Hi! Heat is good for getting things loose! I might test your method if I have to do this again. Thanks for your suggestion!

    Warm the drain plug with heat and the Aluminum will rapidly expand allowing easier release of the nut

    Nice work on that. I can't believe the engine still work after twenty years of no oil changes.

      Thank you! Yes quite incredible it survived! But it did sound a lot better after the oil change!

    You gotta have a high quality 6 point socket to get that oil plug off without damaging, also it needs to be torqued correctly so it isn't over tightened. I did find a kit that includes a new oil drain plug, screen, oring for pretty cheap on Amazon. Those machines are built like tanks, and will literally last forever if proper care taken. I have a 1997.

      Thanks for the advice! They sure are built well, I was really impressed even though my Honda is more comfortable. I can only guess how good the Grizzly 700 is!

    i had a trouble with my neutral switch when I first got my big bear and it was the connections of two wires directly under the seat...replaced the connecters and has worked great ever since....Thank you for the video.

      Hi! Good tip! I don’t have the ATV at my house now but I’ll check it out when I visit the owner.

    To next time get a bigger oil container 😅
    Good service you have done, and that old atv will hold for many years if the main oil will be changed more often.

      Good idea! I think the oil will be changed more often from now on, at least every 10 years or so.

    That Wheeler might be old but you can tell it has very low hours.

    Can someone please tell me how to get the seat off on a yamaha big bear 350 1997 is the year?

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  9 месяцев назад

      If I remember correctly there is a latch on the left side of the seat, under the “Yamaha” text.
