    Fuck me... this is by far the most desirable 1000cc supersport out there and it seems like the fixed the main issue; dead low end power and long gearing

      Why most des?

    • @rns6889
      @rns6889 2 месяца назад

      @@fqeagles21Honda reliability with the performance of the V4s and 1100 factory I guess. It's mine too, but the others are amazing too, s1krr is best bang for buck, rsv4 as well, V4r is too expensive, V4s is excellent but sounds worse than the aprillia. I prefer a screamer, though I think Honda should replace the fireblade with the vfr-r series again, just so people could stop glazing v4 engines of the Italians 😂.

    One of things i liked about the fireblade was the crazy boost at the top end.

      But It has a big flatspot on the lows

    • @Nick-Edwards
      @Nick-Edwards 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@fqeagles21yeah hopefully with this new one the flat spot will be improved. He said Honda made it a point to help low - mid end power. If not, flashing should help even more since it now has stronger internals and higher compression it can handle a more aggressive flash/tune.

    • @rns6889
      @rns6889 2 месяца назад

      @@Nick-Edwardsdo you think Honda could have pushed even more power with higher revs? But didn't for the sake of torque and reliability? It's got the same bore and stroke as the rcv and the panigale v4r. I know 215 is enough but it would be cool if they made a race Ecu version with 16.5k redline 😂, making near 240 horsepower.

    A lighter crankshaft and conrods should increase the speed of the crank spin up on acceleration so that the bike gets into that higher power band faster. I think that we will have to wait for some real world riding reviews from motorcycle journalists to get an idea of how the changes feel.

    Kudos to Honda for keeping the Japanese liter bikes relevant. @Motobob I don't suppose you've heard if Yamaha ever plans on updating the R1? Anyone who feels the need to chime in about the 2020 refresh, please save it. The R1 is severely lacking at the top end and I'd love to see them back on par with BMW, Ducati, Aprilia and now Honda. I'm a Yamaha guy at heart but may pull the trigger on this Fireblade...it's truly a beautiful bike.

All I'am looking for is a nice looking bike now. Something that suits me, not looking for what's the fastest, what turns the best, brakes the best, handles the best or which bike is more comfortable. Just something that suits me & what I like. & I love💗 this bike, & when you like something well enough you can make the faults it has work!!!!!

      thats in the USA because of emissions. with an exhaust and atune to get rid of the emission limitations i heard they go up to 230-240, theres a clip on youtube of a guy in turkey going 345kmh+ on one of these!

      @@LiviuXSAuk here. We measured 185hp best case scenario. This factors in a calibrated machine with 12 percent loss from crank
      Absolutely no way a fire blade is making that kind of power to back tyre. That’s 260hp+ at crank. H2 yes but it’s forced induction.

      @@theonlyredspecial there's no way a 185hp bike can do 340+ on the GPS, something is off. look up MUSCLEBIKER here on RUclips

    I watch a lot of your videos but this one sucks. I’ll tell you why IMO. the camera jumps around so much you don’t see anything.
    From split second closeups to a distant view of a rider where you still can’t see the what motorcycle is being reviewed, back to split second closeups and jumping around.
    I’m not alone here. I’ve read other comments asking to slow it down and for zoom outs to get a descent look at what the video is all about. The MOTORCYCLE !
    Watch your the video before you upload it and decide for yourself if you like what you see.
    I don’t care if your crew does this all day everyday for a living.
    Other TY channels do the same, but it does make it right.
    Let’s stop following trends that really do not work.
    If the viewer is not satisfied then the efforts are in vein.
    It’s annoying.

    Sport bikes should just sack the 1000 cc capacity. It was good for a 180hp or so engine. Now with power figures in excess of 200hp, it is guaranteed you have a feeble low and mid end. Just pump it up 100cc or so and you have a MUCH more versatily engine.
