Barichara is magical. It was one of those towns that convinced me to stay in Colombia 8 years ago. The whole town is like a movie set, and a provides unlimited subjects for any respectable instagram account. I stayed in the best AirBNB in town, a typical house of the area. The AirBnB experience has it pros and cons which I also go through.
Barichara is over 300 years old and provides an artesanal and quaint getaway. It's right next to San Gil and Bucaramanga, where I'm headed next.

Good day Sam! So you made it to Bucaramanga.. My birthplace.. Fantastic! Though I left Colombia altogether at 3 years old for my father's oil patch career.. I have plenty of family connections there and of course been back multiple times since my departure and you will see it is one of the safest big cities of Colombia. Also intriguing in my opinion in its development and progress. The city never quite allowed the negative elements in Colombia in the 80s and 90s to influence its culture, politics or real estate. In the process a great hero named "Luis Carlos Galan" suffered the ultimate price for it in the spirit of Santandereanos for all of Colombia, like a true blunt fighter for hard work and determination as people are characterized over there. You will find people there friendly like all over Colombia, but also fair, curious but direct and blunt but extremely welcoming and best friends for life. No hypocrisy in people there! You have to make it to Colonial Giron which is a must. Good luck Mano!

Hey Sam. You make me laugh asking about your stuff on your bed. That's your prerogative bro. You are single I suppose or travel alone, so you don't have to answer to nobody. I'm married and travel with my wife. He would jump on me if I would do something like that. If I was by myself most likely would do the same.
You brought memories to me on that road to Bucaramanga. In my 30s I used to ride a Yamaha XT500 1976. Loved it and I liked to drag that pave with the foot rests. For the record, I travel pretty much all Colombia on that bike for a period of ten years. After three scaring accidents, I quit and got a car.

Sam, you can suggest them to put like a full length bookshelf for that purpose. It does not take much room, it really is not that difficult, and everything would be handy and more organized. That is something that should never be missing, especially when there are no tables or chests to put stuff on. Ah, by the way, did you go Argentina, or you just stopped and stayed in Colombia?

Bueno, yo he dejado ya varias camisas y otras cosas en los closets de los hoteles, así que en ese sentido somos iguales, mejor dejar todo en la segunda cama.

tabn reparto mis cosas por las camas para verlas y tenerlas a mano ..viajo mucho y por fortuna nunca me ha tocado una habitación donde tenga una sola cama, así que la o las camas que sobran son mi closet ...y cuando sea una sola cama mirare si consigo una silla en el piso encima del tv pero en el closet no XD

Sobre el tema de donde tener las cosas, yo prefiero no encerrarse por que las necesito cada rato, pero tampoco me gusta que estén en la cama, eso me incomoda, mejor algo así como en la mesa de noche.
