If the NBA had a 1v1 tournament, who'd you want to see participate? Who'd win!?
Hey BIL get someone to hold Nitty a sign with the topics on the opposite side, behind the camera - can't have my mans out here checking his phone to keep track of thought. Keep these up they are good
All post players or whoever gets ball first.
Incredible conversation and it’s great to hear & see Frank in this space. Please keep pouring into these conversations & connections!
Serious Gil always delivers. Good convo.
As a current hooper. Came here for all the 💎 and 🍵. 📖
Got the lawnmower going ham in the back 40 😂
This was an amazing podcast 💯
Tim Duncan was load managed. He would undeniably the best PF in history if he got the minutes. He slept on for sure
Not early in his career. He was load managed later in his career.
He didn’t get the same minutes for his career as some other star PF. That and the system he played in wasn’t necessarily made for him to go crazy like he could have. That’s all I’m sayin
Frank & Arenas AM I DREAMING😱
Hi boss !Its not on Spotify tho???plz
My two favorite right now! I feel is with both and fallow on all platforms
The goats both these n I mention in my music fue combo
Good $hit Nitty, I'm glad you were able to do this!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 The real Journalist came out in you, pressin' for them answers!!! 😂🤣😂💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
$/O #AgentZero #flowers 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 with them three on your list, you just need a knife and a magnifying glass !!! 🫡🫡🫡

I love Jimmy buckets game but him and KD not the only players that make sense in a 1v1 tourney Luka has a 1v1 bag even harden and PG i feel like it can be KD vs any of those 4
defense has to be played in 1v1...., how else do you get the ball to play offense
Bro what…Luka has no defensive capabilities.
@@whos_agent2129 True but still we've seen KD, AD, PG all go at each other in Team USA 1v1s. MJ would've locked down ALL these guys. You see him, he was 6'6, about 205-210, but he was also long-armed and had long strides, he was SUPER athletic, he could get space off fadeaways like nobody's business.
The fact MELO not over Westbrook or Harden is insane!
Melo? He didn’t have Bird in his top 10 🤦🏽♂️ that’s ridiculous!!
Love Tim Duncan but can't put him over Hakeem Olajuwon
This is what I want to see more of Gil move around need to see you do more…. How much more???? MOREEEEEE how bigger? MORE BIGGER💯💯💯💯RIP MAMBA
A great player and very well spoken! Gotta love Gil! 🫡🎯🧠 🏀
NBA Basketball from a talent and skill point of view hasnt changed that much since the late 90s. The top20-30 players since the late 90s can play in any era.
The 2020s era benefits from Adam Silvers rule changes. The current playoffs expose it quite well. As soon as you defend all these 3p shooting teams drop from 36% to 28%.
23:15 yessir Westbrook and Harden are tuff
Frank: "so giving kobe 60..."
Gil:"mmhh" *tee hee*
Fire Starter for being Warm and knife
8:08 Deandre Jordan which pissed me off because Boogie should’ve been first team that year
Mike b with looking or listening that's who I think wins
Gil just be yappin lol he said Deron Williams was his toughest cover than I heard Stevie franchise Now it’s Iverson and he said he would cook John wall
A healthy Gil vs a healthy John wall Gil kills him wall couldn’t shoot like Gil
Ain't no way prime Gil is beating prime John wall. Gil has zero defense he bet not let John wall get the ball
7:25 ONE NAME…
R-U-S-S-E-L-L W/E/S/T/B/R/O/O/K
UNDERRATED & MISSING HIS FLOWERS!! LIVING LEGEND 👑🔥🔥👑
ima just ask even if it has been asked before, but why don't you guys use mics? I know you're straying away from the basic podcast vibes, but wouldn't you want the audio to be a bit more easier to hear?
They're using lavs
It’s about mentality. 80’s believe they can & 2000’s believe they can’t. Whatever you believe is true. Both are correct! If you believe you can then you can, if you believe you can’t, then you can’t. Maybe the 2000’s need to work on their belief. This is based on what Gilbert said out of his mouth.
Harden and Wesbrook over Vince and Tmac thats crazy.
Get Drose on here next !!!
😮💨
NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN BEAT KEVIN DURANT 1 ON 1!
This guy knows something 🤌🏾🤌🏾
Gil is hilarious. He'll go from making a great take to a incredibly sus take.
I didn’t watch the video but the caption making it seem like BRON & Kd not old 😂😂😂😂 in basketball years compared to Frank
Why didn’t we speak of dirk Nowitzki? When we spoke on L.A and Tim Duncan dirk was that guy
just one question , Did DR. J have a ground braking shoe contract before Jordan and wasnt Jordan Dr. J's air apperent, we really forget Dr. J was the face of the nba
You should've tested the sound first before even doing this interview. Sound is not that great.
Is it Michael redd?
Nitty you got to change something alot of the videos have a Is weird echo
Just have to pad on walls or let alone put things in the room this is obviously an empty room that allows sound to echo off walls
I don't like how u say that being strong backfires. Look at Antman! He has a college football body!
He was referring to players that use their strength to score, when their game is being able to endure contact and forcing contact, Ant is more of a skilled player he doesn’t necessarily “rely” on just being strong enough like a young Bron or a Giannis or Zion
The echo gotta be fixed
Wilt chamberlain woulda gave the new era hell same way he did the old era my opinion there would be very few who coulda played a1 in both eras
Nah we gonna talk about James harden rockets run when it’s said and done prime James harden was different
My question would be why isn't Kareem in the top 10?
Hakeem?
The NBA is the NBA so for me rings have to matter because it's not a one on one league and ppl lose there jobs way faster some dude avgs 30 but can't bring a ring . I'm actually to young to have seen Kareem or magic or bird play so for my top.10 I'd have them in there but if I only do say 90s to now
1. MJ
2. Lebron
3. Kobe
4. Duncan
5. Shaq
6. Curry
7. Durant
8. Hakeem
9. Dirk
10. Jokic
Honored mentions
P. Pierce - at one point he was the best small forward in the NBA right before the greatest small forward era happened.
S. Pippen - pippen was the clear cut best and most impactful SF of the 90s era. Some may say grant hill but he didn't have a long enough prime to compare.
Malone- once the second most points in NBA history. Two x made it to the finals as the number one guy. Longevity as well peaked longer than expected.
Barkley- greatest small ball pf ever in the none small ball era. Also went to the finals as clear best player on his team.
David Robinson - MVP dpoy champion.
Although wasn't in his prime during Tim Duncan's era still became known as the twin towers.
Harden- greatest offensive threat to never be a #1 on a championship team or even win one.
Russ- triple doublel king
Leonard - top 6 small forward all time
One of the greatest two way stars of the 2k era.
P. George - another great two way player all time. You could say he had a
Greater regular season career than Leonard. Not as good in the playoffs but also has been the guy on teams longer than Leonard with the amount of injuries he has had yr to yr.
Iverson - the first elite scoring guard under 6'4 to avg 30 ppg for stretch of his career and not just a season. Had one of the greatest seasons ever in sixer history making it to the finals without another scorer on the team.
Ben Wallace - the only none scoring talent on the list. Greatest def player I've ever seen at the center spot amongst guys that aren't also scorers like D Howard. Actually beat Shaq and Kobe without a premier elite scoring talent on the team. Multi dpoy awards and truly deserving. Probably put Chauncey in position to even have a case for Hof recognition
Cp3- the last PG ever drafted to come into the league as a pass first style PG who could run all forms of offensive sets and can play with any type of star and get him the ball in his spots. Elite two way PG.
Kg- two way all star that won MVP dpoy and a championship while not even at apex prime in the big three that sent LeBron to mia
so frank always bouta say what gil said every time?😂😂😂
Nah fr I was bouta say that😅
I was thinking same thing
Same damn thing Lebron doing with JJ Reddick on mind the game 🤣💀
lol he’s smart. I do the same with my girl, I always agree with her and in return she likes me half the time
@@mambamlife7477 Brilliant 😂
I literally watched kd say I gotta get up outta here away from Westbrook… went to rockets and messed the team up.. I watched him miss every single shot in LA and lead league in turnovers ….. come on mane … it’s not a narrative … I watch the game … HE NOT HORRIBLE BUT DAMN … don’t want him on my team 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
MJ wasn't the first, gotta give Dr.J his props
Make your own RUclips nitty
How many of those 60 was Kobe guarding him? Legit wondering.
At least 30
most busted top 10 of all time nitty trying to hold in his laugh
For me Russ just isn't someone you can win a title behind. To avg a triple double you need the ball in your hands to much to not be able to shoot from mid or three. On one hand after kd left he never had a championship capable team. But you had melo you had PG. For all the assist he gets. It's not with the understanding of the game someone like rondo cp3 has for being a floor general. So in a since the team was better with him getting triple doubles because it's very limited talent. But in a championship situation I probably don't want to play him the last 5-3 minutes of the game. Turnovers bad shooter from field and free throw line. So one MVP for triple doubles that won't lead to a chip is enough respect for me
Hakeem would beat both 1 on 1.
Michael porter jr or Wemby .
No kyrie is absolutely on drugs, shit sad… can’t even respect this conversation… Jimmy not guarding Kyrie in 1v1…. And a AMERICA team with Kyrie not on it is hate shit weird
Jimmy blocked Kyrie before and he struggles against Jimmy lol.
Kobe guarded Steph 😂Gil just hating
No freak
Gil was ducking Allen iverson lol 😂
James Harden Handles better den Steph Curry
Steph is not better than Kyire, Kyire is the most skilled basketball player to ever play in the nba of all time
You sound stupid bro ngl
In a 1v1 Pg13 Wins, watch Them Olympic runs
He ain't wrong. Jimmy defended Giannis(5turnovers and 3 travels when defended by Jimmy), Brunson, Murray, and KD before and they struggled.😂😂😂 All they could do is force jumpers and couldn't dribble. Even Jokic can't push him and has to shoot over him.😂😂😂
Bro a LOT of players would beat Bron 1v1. That's not Lebron's strength.
Yea he's a facilitator, take away his team and you take away his biggest strength
Bro really ranked Harden over so many legendary players like Steve Nash or T Mac and so many others 😭
Gil always being bias on his podcast lmao
Gill sounds uneducated when it comes to 80s. He'd get handles with old rules
No he’s right
80s are shit compared to now bro wym
@@AyeJ3 says a kid who didn't watch the 80s
@@TooFresh566 how do you know? Always a toddler commenting on the past
@@AyeJ380s are shit? That’s crazy talk. Their defense was a lot better. Less flashy, but they played pretty damn efficient and definitely more team ball.
It’s crazy how you can tell who are really students of the game.
Would ANYONE in the 90s be able to stop Steph Curry?
Hell no
Nah, not even with hand-checking.
@@DarkskinDonr u slow💀 gary payton is locking curry up no hesitation😂😂😂 go do ur research
@@yQaqen you smoking that yack
IF DEY HAND CHECK EM HE GOIN COME OFF SCREENS HELL NO🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gil b talking dumb as hell. He really just said he never had to guard somebody trynna score 30 on him every game. wtf
No he’s right, PGs weren’t tryna go for 30 back then & the 2 who were he didn’t guard. Gil didn’t guard the best player
What point guard was scoring 30 in Gil area? Only Ai that I can think of.
@@jonathanwinston8148 oh he said only point guards? Oh ok, I thought he said guards in general. I heard him wrong my bad
Bron goat he won championship every team he played for and owns alot of records
What’s up with all the COACHES IJS 🤷🏾♂️

Gilbert list is stupid, he said he like people that get buckets but he left out Larry bird and Hakeem which are way better scores then magic , Westbrook, harden I love iverson but come on dude Tim
Duncan is wayyyyy better then AI , Larry bird is wayyyy better then KD but at the end of the day it is your list lol
Jordan is the goat and its not close!!!! The only person who should be considered in the same breath as jordan is kobe
Bron miles ahead of both
@FlupRs lmao u know zero about basketball....lebron is so overrated and one of the biggest crybabies ever
We done with the 90s
@kidnplaysavage4215 I mean u can be that's fine u was never with the 90s...now me I'm with basketball period and just because u love lebron shouldn't make u discredit other eras or players...I'm not discrediting lebron or anyone else I'm just speaking the truth he don't belong in the same conversation as the other two but he is a great player and carved a lane of his own
@MakaveliCVW great opinion🤡.
Tim Duncan is a glorified role-player 🤷🏽♂️
Look at Brons new #1 nutt ridA/secretly jealous of Steph if you peep game
