@@rk100364 You are mistaken. The aria in this video, "Crude furie degli orridi abissi", was composed by Handel. It's from his opera "Serse" (Italian) or "Xerses" (English). It's not by Vinci.

Cannot fault the tone or the technique.... but where is the power? Really, this performance offers nothing 'extra' over that of a female soprano.... Listen to e.g. Paula Rasmussen's performance.... it blows this away ;)

Голос вообще не для Генделя . Звучит , как говно . Интонационно неровный, в среднем регистре глухой, слышно только либо только самые верХние ноты, либо нижние которые он поет своим неразработанным грудным голосом . Слишком грубый и резкий переход от фальцета к грудному голосу . Такое ощущение , что певец не определился как петь фальцетом или баритоном . Ни в коем случае нельзя этот голос тащить в оперу. Пусть песни поют камерные , да в хорах выступают .
