Machinery Hills Criterium - N9 - Men's Cat 4/5

Raced my first crit race. Treated it more like a workout and did way more work than I needed to. Could have likely won had I conserved energy, but really wanted the Most Combative award (sweet t-shirt) and the Ninja Prime. I got both of those, and then finished out in 4th place. My solo break on the last lap got chased back right before the end, and with no time to recover, my finish sprint was weak. All good fun though, good workout, learning experience, and will certainly be back for more!
