One of the most recognizable, iconic and beautiful uniforms in human history. It is a proud day when a young cadet don's his/her uniform for the first time. May God bless the USMA.

The main memory this bought back was the smell of wet wool on rainy days. I love the smell of wet wool in the morning. That smell, that wet sheep smell, the whole Corps was covered in it. It smelled like -- West Point. Seriously though -- great video. I always wondered how much was done by hand and by machine.

I wouldn't call a tradition if robots are making them.

I'm old enough to remember when cadet uniforms were individually tailored. No robots. Just a bunch of elderly Italian immigrants.

Ahh yes, I remember it well. The smell of a wet flock of sheep. Parade practice on a hot sweaty humid day. Or a formation and parade when the powers ignore the Odin chant and had us parade in the rain. 4000 cadets in wet sweaty uniforms on a hot day. LOL Yes, the memories do flood back. Best wishes to the newest crop of Kaydettes.

MFW they use glued/fused interlinings on the uniforms of one of the world's most prestigious military academies. RIP, you cadets are getting fleeced.
