@@thepizzatimenerdcast oh wow thank you soo much for your response. Also Jab We Met is my most fav romcom. Before u watch the movie don't watch its trailer Because trailer is not as good as whole movie. Go for the reviews and ratings.
JAB WE MET next....the DADDY of all romcoms. Imtiaz Ali has been trying to recreate the magic of it in all these movies that follow but he hasn’t quite been able to.
"Jab we met" is 'Daddy' then "Dil chahta hai, Yeh jawani hai deewani, band baja baarat, Jaane tu ya Jaane na etc" they might be 'Mummies' of Romcoms? And "Harry met Sally, 10 things I hate about you and Friends series" might be the Hollywood Mistress?? Don't you? 😂
That will be very late. The viewers here are wise and want them to react to it later on when they can understand many Bollywood jokes that all reactors miss.
@@Lowkeygurl i understand that. But just because they won't appreciate it as much as we do, shouldn't be the reason for them to not watch it. I mean ofc it's our childhood so we'll always love it more, and if they wanna experience what Bollywood was back then, then DDLJ is one of the best movies. It's their choice if they like it or not.
What a great reaction..i hope you guys are familiar with the work of Kangana Ranaut, one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. Her performances in QUEEN, FASHION and TANU WEDS MANU 2 are benchmark here all being national award winning. Do check her filmography.
There was a part 2 of this film. Avi goes deeper into alcoholism and bankruptcy. Bunny is not satisfied with dal chawaal, he finds a Russian, escapes to LA to fulfill his dreams leaving Naina behind. Aditi is not satisfied with her married life, she receives financial stability but her sexless marriage and boredom lead her to hooking up with handsome hunks. Years later everyone’s grown old and Bunny revisits Dehli to find Aditi in a brothel that’s run by the boss lady Madhuri. He initially goes there for sex but finds Aditi and they begin to cherish their old friendship days once again. Basic plot of YJHD 2
@@kvm6 i wrote this as satire. I dont actually mean it. I am just visualizing their future if it turned dark. And jawaani can still be there as Bunny meets Aditi in a brothel and they remember their youth and how their decisions made during that time have fked up their lives today. I was just trying to put a realistic take on an otherwise shallow and childish story 🥱
@@kvm6 actually no, it’s pretty realistic. What happens to Avi’s alcoholism and bankruptcy? Will Bunny really be satisfied with dal chawaal as earlier referenced in the film? Will Aditi really be satisfied with her marriage? I think it’s a pretty interesting take to a “what if” situation. What if things didn’t go all right? Anyways I only thought of this in 30 seconds and still think it had more plot than YJHD. And writing is terrible of YJHD and Ayan’s filmography, so don’t make me get into it. Yes, "YJHD" with no "Jawaani" in it and basically everything fucked up. Ayan is much better writer-director than this.

> Bunny's satisfaction
People change as they grow up. The first line Kabir speaks after Interval is that he's watching *time pass*, that's literally against his "never stopping" soliquoy.
Naina even teases him by saying he's stopped smiling as much as he did.
> Aditi's marriage
She got into goth phase, got out of it (said by Naina herself) and found someone who will definitely keep her happy.

This is tough one. But if everyone does remain friend then Avi can be better.
