- After 200+ episodes of doing food in Singapore, we wanted to do something new. Welcome to CARRY ON - with one carry-on bag and no matter what happens, we'll carry on to show you lesser known destinations all over the world! No sponsors. No clients. Self-funded. Our first stop: Pai, North of Thailand. The catch: we didn't know it was haze season so we landed in the world's most air polluted city!

The huts should have an episode of its own. It had charm. So much charm that surely one cockroach can be forgiven? The after dinner frolicking was delightful for the sheer variety of what was on offer and how different one venue was from the next. I enjoyed this for what I learned about Pai and there wasn't too much inter-hosts inconsequential banter.

you all are supertroopers for going along & making a great video. it's not a pleasant situation during burning season. kudos to Nina for her wise decision on not to feed the fishes. there are too many feeding activities in touristic spots which may seem small but unhealthy to our ecosystem.
thank you and Char especially for bring such great images to your content. most of all the awareness you bring to the the world! remember to walk in pace with Him... just happy to see a more authentic side of you through your channel. it felt like after Covid, everyone is doing the same old things and trying to make as much money off as possible that i'm still surprised how some bloggers managed to get so many views on the same old content . this is so refreshing for my soul especially coming from a local! appreciate you going to such places and bringing yourself out of your normalcy and breaking barriers.. stay safe wherever you travel. Welcome to the one of the Northern Big Three.
Next time, if you really wanna challenge yourself to explore lesser known places come over to Chiang Rai (Second Northern Big Three) then road trip to the Mae Sai "The Golden Triangle" zone but please bring passport along due to heavy military/police presence & checkpoint around the area
Then drive over to Phayao (Third Northern Big Three) if times allow you all can also explore Lamphang, Nan and vice versa.
Contrary to the forest fire, it was also spread over from neighboring countries like Laos, Cambodia etc and one of the national forest park and mountain range "Phu Chi Fa" known for its amazing sun rise view is now closed for maintenance as the trees, land and hills are completely burn down as the fire spread over from Laos.

in actually i don't recommend you guys to go during haze season because that can damage to your lungs. dust with pm2.5 are pretty small that can go into your bloodstream. but for experience you are welcome but not recommend 😅

Do not jog in the haze.... I cough for 2 weeks when I swam an hour in haze more than 15 years ago. It damages your lung
