    Love this, he's so into 'the sound' rather than the device. Great series.

      I think coming from a guitar background he was/is all about the sound he can get out of a device first and then feature list second.

    Awesome studio, gotta love it! Thanks for sharing all the memories on each synth.

      100000% I talk with most of these people on the regular but it's all via text, to go and hang with them in real life is great and it gets me out of the studio!!!

    Just got the frost wave resonator (ms20 filter) & love it, maybe I’ll get the whole synth one day

    What is that wall-mount keyboard stand setup at 2:43? That's something I really need for my space!

    • @craigwilliamsmusic
      @craigwilliamsmusic  10 месяцев назад +1

      I had a dig around and it looks like it's a wall-mount setup but every place has discontinued it.

      @@craigwilliamsmusic I found the same. Looks like Standtastic was the manufacturer.

      Depending on what you have the ikea shoe racks are a pretty solid idea to hold your synths

      Whilst editing this video I found a bunch of footage of him playing live with different bands. It was super cool to see him do his thing.

    Thank you for this, really enjoyed it.
    A quick note for improvement: the background music is annoying. For such a long video either no music or something more ambient.

    fantastic episode! awesome content! just curious how does he connect all his synths to record? patchbays?Mixer? or on multiple ins of sound card, thanks!

    • @craigwilliamsmusic
      @craigwilliamsmusic  10 месяцев назад +1

      Everything is going into a patchbay and from there he can patch it into the preamps/audio interface.

  • @trakliteproductions

  • @robertcrystals
    @robertcrystals 11 месяцев назад +2

    Could you steer people to talk about how they connect and use all this stuff? Is it all patched? All midied to a master sequencer? Patch on the fly? Are things hard wired into certain effects. Anyone can google synths and prices but the knowledge of how people use their spaces is way more useful and interesting. And an example of how they use the space, too.

      I feel that when you build the modules you're a little more invested with them. I have gone a little crazy buying modules when I should have taken my time and really invested the time into learning each module.
